This is a great video! The editing is brilliant (nice touch on the preboil gravity, but not just that) and the layout of the system itself is very intuitive and clean. Also, I found it cool that while it wasn't an instructional vid, it was super informative, not too long, not too short ... actually, the length was perfect. Finally, that doppelbock looked fantastic! You should consider making more if you have the time - this was brilliant. Thank you.
Thank you, Bradley. The recipe is kind of a company secret. This is originally a legendary commercial Christmas beer from the largest brewery in Norway. The all-grain kit is licensed, and sold as a all-grain kit. The hop schedule is known: Magnum @ 60 min :-)
Nice video man. I’m still trying to dial in my boil-off to power ratio with the steam condenser on the b80. What is your percentage power and boil off rate? Cheers 🍻🍻
There are multiple reasons why you would fill a FV (fermenting vessel) from the bottom. One of the biggest reason is sanitation. It’s important that you are sanitary during the KO (knock out) phase to prevent any potential infection. In a perfect world, you would have your system completely enclosed. Where your O2 stone and yeast pitch are inline with the KO. In this video he is not completely enclosed. However, it's not the biggest deal if your system is not 100% enclosed. It’s just considered “best practice” You work with what you have. If you don’t have a O2 stone. Then fill from the top and get as much O2 from Mother Nature herself.

is it not possible to redirect in the fermenter without setup?
Thank you for the nice video
Awesome video
I really really like the dog bowl !
I bet that's gonna be delicious, have you shared the recipe on brewfather?

@@Oelsvingen I totally understand I'll rewatch the video and pull the ingredients from there. Love the video man 🍻
Is it ok to leave wet conditioned that grains that milled overnight?

Same here, @8Pi. I haven’t settled on the final rate yet, but it seems to be between 2-3 liters an Your. It’s not half the rate, but a bit above.
hey quick question, is there a particular reason you filled your fermentor from the bottom?

Nate Roundy thanks for the info, about to do my first brew in my b40 so I’m always open to more information :)
Fin video. Beste fordel med å fukte malten?
