From GrandMA3 to GrandMA2: Making the Switch in 30 seconds

Switching between GrandMA3 and GrandMA2 mode is really easy.
If you work in a theater environment and you have a lot of network equipment, rebooting everything from grandMA3 to GrandMA2 or the other way around is really really easy.
In this video, I will show you how you can make the switch of the entire system in 30 seconds between the two modes.
This will make you able to work Both in GrandMA3 and GrandMA2 Software while you transition yourself out of GrandMA2, and get started in GrandMA3 mode for the future productions.

I love this as I still enjoy using MA2 as it's familiar and I can work faster due to years of experience, but being able to switch to MA3 to keep expanding my knowledge of it when I want to across my who system is aweomse. No more running around the entire venue to switch devices.

This is a nice solution for festivals too, I’ll put in practice this on this weekend with a full size + light + x5 PU’s … I’m wondering if you add to the macro a /nc to no confirmation … may be do the switch faster… I have some questions: 1)when you do the switch the system keep your network settings ? 2) you can run this macro lines from gma2 to do the switch or you must have a gma3 device( console or onpc system) to do the switch ? Thank you for your content is very useful…

Will try that. MA2 mode on MA3 on PC. Will it have the old MA2 colors/layout for most items on the screen or do we see more colors and a modern look?
