One thing you forgot is that the go pro is water friendly where u can do pool or water shots without damaging it that is a major plus when needed

It's been said that the best camera is the one that you'll use. To me it's all about weight and convenience. I recently sold my A7III and went back to using my A6400 because it weighs less. I found that I wouldn't use the A7III because when mounted on a gimbal it became an unpleasant experience. Now the GoPro comes along and the creative ways it can be used are almost endless. Oh, I know, I can't blur the background and can't really zoom but it's light weight, will fit in my pocket and has unparalleled stabilization. And to me, the image quality is excellent. But let's face it, all of this is irrelevant unless the video is interesting. Tell a good story.

How did you put raw footage on GPH 10 ? I cant find it
Thanks for these tips, I'm planning a vacation soon, and I just purchased the gopro 10 black, and I already have a Sony a7ii with only 85m prime lens but the videos specs are limited, I'll try my best to combine those 2 cameras and get the most of. But honestly, like in my previous vacation, I'm afraid that I'll be using the dslr 90% for photos, not for video because it's challenging to take good videos hand-held

I’m not sure what you mean by limited, but if you’re saying you’re limited by the fact that you only have an 85mm lens because it’s so tight, I agree that it will be a bit difficult to shoot exactly what you want. Saying this also because my first camera was the Sony A7iii with the Sony 85mm F1.8 lens as well for a few months. However, I still would very much push the idea to capture as much video as you can with it because what I found was that the types of footage that the 85 mm can capture are absolutely stunning when you realize its strengths. Which are portrait and detail shots due it’s a tight look. Portrait shots that are maybe like a close up on the upper body of the subject walking through an interesting landscape or detail shots that showcase different aspects of of a subject like rain falling off a pretty plant or the edge of a cool car. Yes, you will have a tough time capturing wide landscape type shots or in tight spaces, if you can even get them at all the way you like, but if you can focus on the concept of capturing an isolated subject whether it’s a single mountain, person, item, etc…the 85 mm will do wonders for you during your trip. And your GPH10 can help you with the rest. I say all of this being handheld as well! Hope this helps and enjoy your vacation my friend 💯✔️🔥
I am a GoPro hero 10 user also. But my problem is the rubber power button of my GoPro is easy to destroy.

best thing i love about the gopro is i can put it inside my car and i can see the whole inside of the car. and underwater or outside the car and also easy vlogging also , loved the gate idea. flippy screen ? i just use my phone as an extra screen

They both definitely are for different use cases, but it is interesting to see where they can cross over! And the best case scenario is to use them together bringing in the advantages from both of them 💯✔️🔥
You did lots of mistakes while recording! We are using GoPro as our main camera and we use it in replacement for DSLR cameras and the outcome is insane!!! You really need to experiment a lot in order to find that perfect camera angle+ camera moves to get that unique and rare short!
I agree, the gopro does take a lot of experimenting! Im sure I made a few mistakes, though what I revealed in this video is definitely what someone would initially experience. And hopefully, they can take a lot from that 💯✔️🔥

Do you think you needed ND filter for this although there was not much of an action scene to film for motion blurs?
I didn’t use an ND Filter for this, I would just use shutter speed. Though I would definitely be using an ND filter if it was action oriented filming or a high end project!

Hey man, how does the GoPro footage compare to the stock camera on your DJI drone? Did it wind up being worth, or was the difference negligible?
I would say they’re comparable, however, I would definitely choose the drone camera, in my case being the mavic air 2. If you have the air 2s, that would definitely be much better than the gopro in my opinion. Mounting the gopro on a normal drone is not something I’d recommend unless you’re wild like I can be HAHA. But I would 100% throw it on the DJI fpv drone. Absolutely and utterly. That’s what I currently do!
If you just meant side by side for whatever, I think it’s fairly negligible. At that point, it’s just what you prefer per use case. Hope that helps! 💯✔️🔥

i'm looking to get into amateur videography. do i get a gopro, iphone 14 pro, or something like a zv1/zve10 ? mainly vlogging for memories, but throw in a few cinematic b-rolls here and there. i don't have a lot of time to edit (i'm a dad), so i'm talking minimal color grading but still looks good. will probably use lumafusion on an ipad or davinci on the pc.
If you have the budget, I’d definitely recommend the zve10 camera. It can do all of that with ease and the quality is amazing. And in general, just a fantastic beginner camera 💯✔️🔥

Get a dji osmo pocket 3, that has a Bokeh effect
I use a gopro to make youtube videos(not this account) and I think its great for a beginer it looks good and it very versitile so if you want some action shots and you also want somthing good for cinimatic shots its great, its also good for its extreme portablility while still producing a good picture and being able to take a good beating, I use it for traveling alot and its nice to be able to just throw it in my bag with other stuff and not have to worry, unlike my dlsr were I have to have its own bag and I have to be gentle to prevent breaking it

Nope, just the camera! For this video everything was manual except shutter speed was on auto!

I would always choose a dslr over a gopro, but if you can afford a full blown camera and are a beginner, the gopro is a great place to start 💯✔️🔥
