Good day, can you help me? I have a Skoda Fabia 2002. My problem is that they won't blow air on the windshield at all. Whether it's hot or cold, they don't blow air at all.

My back right brake light on my mk1 fabia is not working. I’ve changed the bulb and fuse and still not working.. any ideas what it could be? Thanks
Very often this is connected to the brake pedal switch, a common part that fails and just needs replacing with a newer design version. Have a look @: ruclips.net/video/n4oOyeVS7EE/видео.html and the pedal switch: amzn.to/3yqojfK. If it is this fix then use a volt meter or test light to trace where a break in power, starting with the lamp holder :-)

Thank you for your useful videos....i have a question..... I have Skoda Fabia 2002 from time to time EPC light appears in the car dashboard... what it means?
Usually it will be a broken brake light switch. It could also be a broken reverse light switch as well. But the brake light switch is more likely and more common.
@@Georg1979reverse light switch does not trigger EPC as far as I know. It bet it’s brake switch especially when the issue is intermittent. Quite common. Fortunately it’s cheap and quick fix.
Thanks, intermittent faults like that are usually electrical contact issues, often down to moisture on connectors etc. But the epc light can be other stuff. Q - when it comes on does the engine feel any different? If you think it does then it may be a simple air leak in the throttle body, air intake system or sensor malfunction. If your brake lights are effected it could be the brake pedal switch (common fault). An obd2 diagnostic tool would be best to narrow this down before replacing items for nothing. Hope this points you in the right direction :-)
We have had multiple Skoda Fabias in the past 20 years in the family. All of them had brake light sitch failures with EPC fault on the dash. And the factory OEM switch turns out to be a pretty crap one. As I replaced mine with one and it also broke two months later. So get something else from a reputable third party manufacturer and you should be fine from then on. Mine is working fine now and the one on my mother's car has been working fine for over 15 years now. It's also easy to check. Just get someone to see if your brake lights work.
Couldn't a person cut the extra wide part of the cone off so that the cone was only as wide as needed to pass over the joint?
Good question and one I considered too. You could do that if you were struggling and only needed it for that particular CV joint, but it's best not to run too close as you need a bit of play to help it over easier IMHO :-)
@HatBoyHarvey how wide was the narrower section of your shaft (where the clamps attached). I ask as I'm currently working on a vw jetta cv "re-boot" & can't imagine that the boot at its narrowest would be able to stretch adequately with out ruining the boot.
@@matthewjesse4225 it's about 30mm and believe me will stretch much more than you can imagine as I too didn't think it would. Ii's because of the latex type of material they use, very elastic and robust :-)

That cone looks like a brilliant idea, I’ve never see that before. Watching you struggling with the boot reminds me of the misses trying to get her credit card out of her purse when it’s time to pay. Unlike you though she usually gives up and gets me to pay! (She reckons it’s cheaper that way)
Typical of women turning things on their head with weird logic and we always fall for it ending up being at fault or loosing out somehow - then for some unknown reason, we end up believing them !? :-/
I'm surprised this works, I would have never thought that the small end would stretch that much! Interesting method!
I was thinking the same until finding it actually is down to the type of rubber they use for these. It's not easy to down unleashed you hace 'the knack' of keeping tour hands completely dry, but the tube fully oiled :-)
