I've had mine for 12 years and it's the most comfortable chair I've ever owned. Genuine leather in red. It's been heavily used. I'm shorter than you, but I think the depth of your chair is deeper than mine. I don't like armrests, and these ones are particularly terrible, so never made it onto my chair. My gas lift seems to have a larger range than yours. I didn't even realise there was a metal bar there until you pointed it out. I love my chair, but they're not going to fit everyone 👍
I have used one at work and when it was cold, I was losing heat so fast due to the amount of metal components I was in contact with. The wide gap between the arm and chair providing no insulation wasn't helping either and had to use a random cloth that was around in order to not freeze. This chair was uncomfortable all around.

Could you review the Ergohuman Elite Evolution? It seems to be very similar to an Aeron or Please, with a good warranty, more adjustments but at a lower price. But honestly, though, without hearing an expert's opinion first, I'm a bit reluctant to spend this kind of money.

It's very uncomfotable. The high back is even worse. The cushion, such as they are, are too thin, but it looks beautiful.
aesthetics vs ergonomics is an everlasting debate... 😂
