If my knowledge isn't incorrect A concert piano is capable of covering every note in an orchestra.... So theoretically it is capable of replacing every instrument although the sound itself may be slightly different

This is exactly why I love playing canon so much. The court progression/structure plus the fact that it’s written in the key of D originally makes it so fun to play and all allows anyone with a basic understanding of the songs foundation to be able to add their own touching bedazzle in their own way. Now this level… That’s a different story… This is the level of bringing dishes to the potluck lol.

@SolySamsung TrollySamsung You do not need to know how to play a piano in a figurative sense to be able to play level 1. You could teach a 3 year old to play a single note melodic+harmonic line. If you are physically capable, then the only thing stopping you from learning level 1 is that you don't want to learn.
I've watched a number of these videos and while I have crazy respect for the serious talent needed for the higher levels, anything beyond intermediate just sounds muddy and overdone to my ears. But that's just me.

As for someone who's a very noob in playing piano/electric keyboard I'm literally tearing up at the Level 5. And I haven't even for once teared up from a music. This is literally heaven.

Umm actually it is being done...and has been done for years. One must remember that there have been advanced pianists for hundreds of years. I am somewhat shocked to hear people in awe over what is called level 5. It's been around a long time.
This is hands down my absolute favorite piece of music! I actually shed a tiny tear at level 5, it was so breath takingly beautiful! I would love to see you remix this one similar to Beethoven's fifth.

Agreed. Canon in D is so simple. As the Pacabel Rant guy who played cello was so bored b/c he played the same 8 notes over and over. It's that simple. 8 notes. And in those 8 notes, musicians can endlessly create variations.

I want the full Level 4 piece. To me, that is just perfect, to describe: that point between rage and serenity lol. Level 5 showcases skills that is simply out of this world but kind of distorts the piece a little too far from the original and sounds exhausting to my ears. Sorry but it's just me lol.
I had tears on my face. This is my favorite piece of music. Watching and listening your version is incredibly beautiful. And I played piano for years but I did not have the gift. I could watch this a thousand times and never get tired.
I was like level 1 : "a baby can play this" level 2 : "this is a peaceful piece." level 3 : "Hmm.. this is good, I can listen this for another minutes." level 4 : "what the." level 5 : "my brain hurt, please stop."
Indeed the level 4 and 5 are technically very difficult, but honestly you're trying to fix a masterpiece and it hurts my ears. Too much is too much. But props on the technique.

Agreed. Canon in D is so simple. As the Pacabel Rant guy who played cello was so bored b/c he played the same 8 notes over and over. It's that simple. 8 notes. And in those 8 notes, musicians can endlessly create variations.

level 5 is complex, but it looses the nice flow and sound of the lower levels, as things have to happen so quickly that the sound is hard and sharp
I want the full Level 4 piece. To me, that is just perfect, to describe: that point between rage and serenity lol.
Level 5 showcases skills that is simply out of this world but kind of distorts the piece a little too far from the original and sounds exhausting to my ears. Sorry but it's just me lol.

Level 4 sounds best to me! Level 5 is an incredibly impressive display of skill but ultimately there's just too much going on for me, maybe im not refined enough yet to appreciate its complexity! Love it :D
