Will you post the 1 hour and 10 hour on spotify? Loved the 1 hour. 10 hour was fantastic, it really shows your talent being able to tell a story with music. 10 minute one was cool as well
If someone tried to sell me the 10-minute one as the overture on an unkown Dream Theater album or a forgotten demo of Rick Wakeman, I'd buy it in an instant.

This may possibly be the best video I've watch on RUclips ever. Like at first I just wanted to skip all the others and then we got to the 10h challenge and I was intrigued by the theme but then noticed the writing, the more I read the more and more I was being sucked into the story and OH BOY did I get chills many time while reading!!!! The story and the piano match perfectly (beautifully if you will) and made the story even more finesse and mind baffling and it just draws you in. It was just simply a treat to listen to thank you.. also you've gained yourself a worthy subscriber, good job friend 🤌👍
Same here. It honestly makes me feel so bad when seeing other people playing piano. I've wanted to play it since I was a child, but I never actually got to start until 7th grade. I'm 21, and I just recently, around age 20, started taking lessons off and on. It's a semester thing, and sometimes I can't get in a slot, and I miss the semester. I was taking some from an old church friend, but she seemed to get super impatient with me, and so I haven't seen her in a while. I still suck at it after all these years. Like...just how? I am literally going to d*e without ever doing what I want to do...
I absolutely love the 1 hour song. More on the Epic side than Horror. Sounds more like something in which the monster is the protagonist. For some reason, I am imagining a pianist who was giving the best performance of his life when the concert hall went up in flames. He was so obsessed with his performance that he did not stop and burned to death. And now he is hunting down the concert goers who fled instead of listening to the end. I imagine him luring the victims with piano notes, kind of like a siren, and then they are transfixed and unable to move while he plays and they burn alive.
honestly, i like the vibes i get from the 10 hour however, i think that it is needed to use something more harmonious yet uncannily creepy, keep a steady tone, and slower tempo in order to make something scary
This is my biggest thing! It's hard not to come off just nit-picky or whatever but I feel like whenever he writes for dark emotions (evil, sadness, fear etc.) - it's grand and incredibily virtuosic, absolutely, but I feel like if he scaled back the shear amount of flex and fitting in of theory, take a less is more approach - it'd let a truly emotive melody come through.

BXOKEN RBX well yes, you’re not wrong but think about it, old composers like Mozart would probably take days, months, _idk honestly_ to write a piece, sooo...

All of them were great, the first three were spooky, only the last one made me feel some semblance of fear. I might just be spoiled from horror games though, which can get me involved with the music in a more visceral way.
wow. the 10 hr one is definitely not one to watch at nighttime. truly terrifying. i don't usually mind horror stories like this, but your music brings it to life.
Watched it at 5am in a dark room. That plus the music made the entire feeling feel way more authentic. Its really well done and imbues the right mood. But it isn't really that scary. Might just be me tho :)
10 secs: hidden screams 1 min: dark angels 10 min: the path to acension 1 hour: darkness slowly destroys 10 hours: unknown death of demons extra 24 hour: no escape no heart
The 1 hour song was absolute fire. It sounds like something you'd legit hear in a movie soundtrack, though I feel like it'd be more of a suspense/thriller movie than outright horror. The 10 hour one absolutely sounds like a horror movie soundtrack, I could SEE the story happening.
That last one is insane. Usually with these types of video's i skip threw the whole video and only hear parts of the song. But this....BOY THIS WAS CRAZY!! i couldn't skip! Fr it should be like a cutscene where you run out of a forest away from a white and blind creature and then you run to your house and after that you step on an branch on your way to your house and the creature hears it and starts chasing you and so then it is a 2 minute chase then after those two minutes have passed you reach your house and then the creature breaks down the door and you are forced to fight it or else you will be caught by a black and enormous demon which grabs you and puts you back into the fight. Yea i came up with this in my head
Both the 1 hour one and the 10 hour ones were masterpieces. The 1 hour one was more on the epic, adventurous mixed with some horror type and the 10 hour one was horror with a bit of an epic sound which is wonderful. Mad respect for you.
You are the most talented pianist I have ever seen, it's soo amazing how you can literally write in any style, I'd dream to be that good, thanks for the content, it's soo well written
The 1 hour one made me think of the Battle of Hogwarts and Lily’s theme; it was dark, fascinating, and hauntingly beautiful. Well done, friend! You have a new subscriber :)
You should write a sad version of the 1 hour one, calling it "what have I become..." And call the 1 hour version "what I've become." To make a sort of story about a hero doing something awful and being driven into insanity, realizing it (the sad version) and then embracing it (the horror version)
I am still amazed even after I finished watching this... the 10 hour version is incredible, especially because it was only made in 10 hours! Personally, (I know it's a big strtch) but honestly your amazing pieces are better than Beethoven. Great job!

The story of the last one was pretty scary, the music was also great. My sister got scared and left the room when I started reading the story aloud to her.
Your 1-Hour composition is extraordinary, to say the least; it has more complex pieces and proper waits than that of the 10-hour composition. taTaket from a fellow composer. ,triple scales and ssolo chordson the right hand was a stroke of genius. I want that 1 Hour piece on Spotify, caption it "Oppenheimer" Just because.
Damn that ten hour one's got me shivering. That is very much a well written horror story, good music to go with it too. Now i wanna see someone actually film/animate that whole story.
Its amazing how in the 10 hour theme you put so much character into the theme with all the recurring motives and really made the story come to life. You have skills
What an experience! You're awesome! I was frowning and clutching my throat during the appropriate parts and just amazed that I could have such an experience - on RUclips, of all places!. It's like reading a book with a sound track, and you know what they say about movie adaptations of books, the book is usually better. So the images my mind conjured were much better than a movie and I could picture every scene in detail with the help of the words teamed with your music. I am in awe. I have never experienced anything quite like this video. I LOVE it and I hope there are more on your channel. (I subscribed today!)
Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed the experience! This is an art form I've been trying to pioneer for a while, the idea of a "music story" because the imagined story is sometimes better than a real one. I'm so happy that you loved it ;)
I wish I could play as good as you I've been playing the violin since I was 5 and piano since I was 7 I'm 10 years old now but I'm only at RCM level 6-7 violin and level 7 piano
Even without the storyline, the 10-hour piece can be played anywhere and the audience will absolutely love it. It is amazing!! And I don't even like horror and I love it. :-)) [I like the 10 minute nd 1 hour pieces too.] [I lied. I like all of it.]
WoW 😲 The fact that you can play these types of pieces are amazing but you can compose too!? And I'm a pianist also so this is so mind blowing to me. Five stars on all fronts and a like from me.
Hello! I just have to say, I'm a musician and this was amazing. Like, mind-blowing. I've been playing piano for almost ten years and I'm nowhere NEAR this level of pure talent. I love this so much! I also found the storyline really intriguing, so I wanted to write a part 2. Feel free to read and enjoy... :) Also, Lionel Yu, it would mean the world to me if you wanted to give me some feedback! :) It was two weeks after the horrifying event at Katrina’s house. She had been utterly traumatized. She found it hard to move some days, trapped in her memories. It got to the point where she had to move into her sister’s apartment because she could not physically be inside her house. One day, Katrina was driving to the grocery store with her sister, whose name was Carly. Carly felt like Katrina needed to get out, to get some fresh air, so she insisted that Katrina come with her to go shopping. When they arrived at the store, Katrina stared with tortured eyes at the sidewalk where she had first encountered the old woman. She felt strangely numb as Carly pulled her out of the passenger seat and walked her into the store. “What should we shop for first, Katrina? You pick,” Carly said encouragingly. Katrina said nothing, zoning out into her memories. “Please, Katrina, I need you to be here with me.” Carly sighed. She began to walk Katrina towards the frozen foods section. “You know what? Why don’t we pick up your favorite kind of ice cream for tonight, huh? A special treat.” Again, Katrina said nothing. After around half an hour of shopping, Carly walked with Katrina back out to the car in the parking lot. Katrina still felt numb. Carly began to load things into the back of the car while Katrina stood by, staring into the distance with cloudy eyes. All of a sudden, her entire body flinched and she let out a tortured moan. Her eyes widened with horror. Carly whipped her head around in surprise, looking at her sister with concern. Katrina was shivering violently. She was staring at something on the sidewalk. Carly followed her gaze and spotted an old woman, clothed in white. “Katrina, it’s not who you think.” Carly tried to reassure her, feeling anxiety well up inside of her. All of a sudden, the old woman began to move at a very fast pace towards the two sisters. Katrina was completely frozen in terror. Carly felt her heart skip a couple of beats. “Get in the car!” she said breathlessly, slamming the trunk closed and forcing Katrina into the backseat. Moving as quickly as she could, she started the car and backed out of the parking space. But she was not fast enough. The old woman had reached the car, and Carly and Katrina could now see a knife gripped in her hand. She smashed the knife straight through the glass in the backseat, and Katrina scrambled to the other side of the car, gasping with terror. Carly screamed. “The cards tell of more for you, young one!” the woman screeched. Her scraggly gray hair blew back to reveal a still-healing stab wound in her neck. She raised the knife, climbing with her disjointed limbs through the broken window. Carly screamed again, pressing on the accelerator. The car began to swerve around the parking lot, leaving people running to get out of the way. But the old woman was not fazed, her eyes locking in on her target. “Let yourself die, Katrina,” she hissed contemptuously. “The cards never lie.” Katrina found the strength to let out a scream of pure terror. Carly slammed on the brakes and reached back to try to stop the woman from killing her sister. But all of a sudden, the old woman turned on Carly, stabbing the knife into her neck. Carly’s eyes went wide. She was dead before she hit the ground. Katrina fumbled for the door handle. She somehow found it fast enough to frantically open the door and throw herself out of the car, gasping. The last thing she heard before she went unconscious was the old woman screeching, “Don’t be fooled, Katrina! Your fate will be sealed soon enough!” When Katrina woke, she was laying in a hospital bed. All of the memories came flooding back, and she vaguely noticed that her arms were handcuffed to the bed. A nurse found her awake and ran to fetch a doctor. When the doctor came in, he sat down next to her bed and looked solemnly into her eyes. “Katrina, the police found your sister’s dead body. They asked several witnesses… and all of them said they saw no one but you and your sister in that car.” Katrina stared up at the man, her heart pounding and ears ringing. “You’re being charged for murder of your sister, Katrina.” Katrina shook her head, not able to believe it. How could no one see the old woman? Her eyes were brought to a window in the room, where she could faintly see the outline of a woman dressed in white, with the same scraggly hair. “Right there!” she suddenly screeched, struggling to point out the window with her handcuffed hands. “She’s out there!” The doctor looked out the window, but only sadly shook his head. “Nurse Kelly, please call the police and let them know she’s awake.” “No!” Katrina screamed, her throat tight. “No!” The woman’s voice echoed through her head: “I’ll find you, Katrina. No police can hide you from me. The cards have sealed your fate.”
Oooh, I like the metaphorical take on it! If that's what was intended, of course. I feel like the old woman being a symbolism for insanity is super interesting, along with Katrina actually being the one to kill Robert. Overall, this needs to become a horror movie, and this needs to be the sequel.
Holy crap! I thought this guy was just alright but then I listened to the 10 hour song. Not only was the story believing but the music was incredible! I was amazed by the 1h piece, but the 10h piece just made me stop and sink into the story, it was captivating ! You're an true artist, with a soul filled with passion for music. Thank you for this moment.
At first I was like, "Pfft this couldn't scare me." then the story and the song all put together I just- I'm at a loss of words, both you and the writer are incredible artists in such beautiful and different ways. Good job to y'all, you scared the living day light out of me.

Wow, this song really creeps me out! This is a MASTERPIECE! Love it!!❤
Personally, I don't like horror movies, Halloween, or being scared. But.....I freaking love the music! (If that makes sense lol) I seriously love the 1 hour version, it gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it! I'm so looking forward to listening to on Spotify!!! Great job!
It's amazing how well he can write a brand new song that sounds great in such a short period of time!
BXOKEN RBX well yes, you’re not wrong but think about it, old composers like Mozart would probably take days, months, _idk honestly_ to write a piece, sooo...
Lionel you should absolutely play the 1-hour piece in concert too. As well as the 10 hour. Audiences will love them. Brilliant compositions, amazing work. :-)))
10 second theme - Game Over

10 minute theme - Chaotic Circus / Fallen Acceleration

Man, I had TOO many ideas for these amazing themes you made. Absolutely awesome, this is fire.
Who's watching this in 2024?
All of them were great, the first three were spooky, only the last one made me feel some semblance of fear. I might just be spoiled from horror games though, which can get me involved with the music in a more visceral way.
the piano. the story telling. the amount of talent you hold is seriously immaculate.
wow. the 10 hr one is definitely not one to watch at nighttime. truly terrifying. i don't usually mind horror stories like this, but your music brings it to life.
It aint scary
@@bloxycommander I disagree it gave me goosebumps
Watched it at 5am in a dark room. That plus the music made the entire feeling feel way more authentic. Its really well done and imbues the right mood. But it isn't really that scary. Might just be me tho :)

I agree it did not scare me but it was great
The 1 hour song was absolute fire.
1 hour piece can litteraly be horror game music fr-
Fr it should be like a cutscene where you run out of a forest away from a white and blind creature and then you run to your house and after that you step on an branch on your way to your house and the creature hears it and starts chasing you and so then it is a 2 minute chase then after those two minutes have passed you reach your house and then the creature breaks down the door and you are forced to fight it or else you will be caught by a black and enormous demon which grabs you and puts you back into the fight.

I love how to start of the one hour one just be sounding like murder drones
OMG YOU KNOW MURDER DRONES!?
The 1 hour one made me think of the Battle of Hogwarts and Lily’s theme; it was dark, fascinating, and hauntingly beautiful. Well done, friend! You have a new subscriber :)
You should write a sad version of the 1 hour one, calling it "what have I become..." And call the 1 hour version "what I've become." To make a sort of story about a hero doing something awful and being driven into insanity, realizing it (the sad version) and then embracing it (the horror version)
If the ten hour one got turned into a movie I would watch it so quick istg
I am still amazed even after I finished watching this... the 10 hour version is incredible, especially because it was only made in 10 hours! Personally, (I know it's a big strtch) but honestly your amazing pieces are better than Beethoven. Great job!

It was two weeks after the horrifying event at Katrina’s house.
A special treat.”
Again, Katrina said nothing.
“The cards never lie.”
Katrina found the strength to let out a scream of pure terror.
Your fate will be sealed soon enough!”
When Katrina woke, she was laying in a hospital bed.
They asked several witnesses… and all of them said they saw no one but you and your sister in that car.”
Katrina stared up at the man, her heart pounding and ears ringing.
“You’re being charged for murder of your sister, Katrina.”
Katrina shook her head, not able to believe it. How could no one see the old woman?
Her eyes were brought to a window in the room, where she could faintly see the outline of a woman dressed in white, with the same scraggly hair.
“Right there!” she suddenly screeched, struggling to point out the window with her handcuffed hands. “She’s out there!”
The doctor looked out the window, but only sadly shook his head. “Nurse Kelly, please call the police and let them know she’s awake.”
“No!” Katrina screamed, her throat tight. “No!”
The woman’s voice echoed through her head: “I’ll find you, Katrina.
