There was this one guy who wrote an arrangement for the *entire* orchestra. Really went above and beyond by writing three additional movements! Really amazing and innovative music. His name was Ludwig van something or other.
That was what I was thinking. Imagine your playing a game about music throughout the years. In the end of the game you go back in time and meet Beethoven after he created the 5th symphony. You are challenged with defeating him in a music competition. This amazing piece is the one you play when going against him. Nicolaschazarre, the $75 one, was the best by far. His arrangement best matched your playing and the nature of the piece itself. It was the best one that worked WITH your track rather than against it. You're entitled to your opinion, and maybe some of the others sounded more professional in technical quality, but musically this was the best choice, imo.
Dude I love how everyone is appreciating the $75 dollar guy. I swear I got chills. Y’all gotta remember the name Nicolaschazarre. I feel like the other ones just didn’t top this guy, homie Beethoven smiles upon this man
@@thenarrator1984 Edit: why’d I tag you???? the original 5th Symphony, $75, and $300, would go great together in a movie series, as the person laying down the foundations for the movie would play the original 5th Symphony. All three guys nailed it, they're all number 1's. It just depends on what you're looking for. $75 dude had the best gaming background track, $110 guy gave us the most cinematic vibe (my fave because it played beautifully with the original classical piece and was the most on theme IMO), and $300 guy crushed it with an epic EDM/dance club vibe. Amazing effort all around!
No doubt they're all good. But $75 really stood out. I listened to it again and compared it with the others. The story, the build up is epicccc!! It defined what an amazing remix should be. Raise your price it's worth it.
make weekly earnings on cryptocurrency and metaverse stocks through her strategy when you contact her. I really appreciate the effort of Amelia who made it happen.
Just went and compared it to the $300 back to back. The $75 blows it out of the water IMO. The drop is so much better. The build up so much smoother. It lets the piano shine when it’s supposed to, and adds more when necessary to keep it interesting. It’s really, really good.
I think there are two different elements of “quality” to look at here: 1) Quality of the sound engineering, which in my opinion did mostly increase with price. The higher priced ones sounded cleaner to me. 2) Quality of the ideas for accompanying your piece - this is the one that I don’t think increased so much with price. Some of the cheaper options seemed more creatively inspired by the task you asked of them. I agree with you that the $300 one was overall the best work. Fair play to all of them though - they all felt like solid efforts, nobody who I think is ripping people off.
$75 one is the perfect match to Beethovens 5th. Because they went with lower tones and that base, it just amplified how dark and visceral the symphony is while also having a matching complexity. Every beat and melody melded so perfectly but neither overpowered the other.
Agreed, piano and arrangement was best on that one. All but one fell on the face on the percussion IMO. Cept JMP who nailed it on the EDM style requested here - and also was the most expensive.
I loved the wonderful cinematic sound of the $110 dude and the creativity of the $75 guy. My top three would be Philippkraetzer ($110), Nicolaschazarre ($75), and Wileywest ($300).
It is so fun to watch this video! 👍👍👍Unbelievable that $75 produced such high quality remix of Lionel Piano solo! Thank you for explaining the selection process with professional contents and also sense of humor!❤️❤️❤️
Okay, I absolutely agree with the final ranking. I know the 75$ guy absolutelly KILLED it, but I just have a soft spot for the violin with the 300$ one. It was done beautifully and matched the melody perfectly. But that said, $75 guy was absolutely worth the price too. Loved both. He should definitely rise the price. He's worth a lot more.
Suggestion: When you do this sort of thing, randomize the results before listening so you don't know who's work you are listening to. This removes any bias by knowing how much you paid and is also a nice game to gues which is which.
@@clevergadget Interesting remix efforts and more interesting outcomes but do they differ in "quality" as described or they show just different tastes?
75$ song was the best and addictive. Hope for a real song release! Also the presenter reaction was way more intense and the emotion was epic. 75$ should have won in my opinion. Great video!
The $75 one nailed it musically, in terms of beats, mood, build up, and everything. Got goosbumps. He basically nailed everything that the Piano track needed.
I think what impressed me most about the Nicolaschazarre piece was that it kept you engaged the WHOLE time. You had no idea what he was bringing next. As a gamer and a musician I nearly stood up when he hit that drop. 75 dollars??? That human needs a bonus!
Nicolaschazarre the 75 dollar one is BY FAR ... THE BEST! I think that one so super epic, the sound, the build up, the drop, EVERYTHING! Amazing work Sir!
I demand a Final Round between 75Dollar guy and 300Dollar guy. Give them another peace to edit and see who does it better this time! haha I prefered the 75Dollar one a little more because everything was just so dramatic but I also like anything with violins, so the 300Dollar one was also my favourite, but maybe just because of the violins.. I want to know haha
I can't get over the $75 one. The moment the first few beats played, I suddenly felt like I was transported to a dystopian fantasy world where we're about to make the last stand for our survival.
To be fair to the dude with the $10,000 package, I feel like 10 grand for 90 minutes of custom music for a movie/film soundtrack is a steal *if he's good*
I like to imagine Beethoven seeing what people were doing with his music 200 years later. While I don't know what he'd think of modern music, I trust that a craftsman will recognize craftsmanship, and I think he'd find it very cool to see how people are able to transform his work in new ways.
I agree with you 💯. As funny as it sounds, classical music had a "rock concert" type of vibe back when the conposers were alive and pushing the envelope. I think he'd embrace the experimentation whole heartedly if he was able to hear it.
I agree totally. If you listen to very late works of Beethoven, such as the Grosse Fuge, you can sense something very strange there, like the composer went so far ahead with his ideas that even today we still have a hard time understanding what he wanted to do, and in his lifetime there were critics stating they were unlistenable. However, when Schubert, one of the most dedicated fans of Beethoven, was in his deathbed, he requested a score of just one of these last pieces from the master.
nicolaschazarre was, hands down, the best sounding one. The build up into that drop was epic! The only one here that gave me chills, and I can only imagine if his audio quality was higher, it would have been PERFECT. *chefs kiss*
I find it hard to chose between nicolaschazarre and philippkraetzer. Mostly due to my love for brass and how much and how well philipp pulled that off. Also nicholas was also obscenely good.
I listened to the $75 dollar one like 3x times it was SO good. I'd just flip flop you're #1 and #2 and the rest I agree with completely. Your piano playing is all unreal! Loved the vid and I'm a new subscriber now.
I don't really understand why he chose the $300 guy. The violin was nice, but hardly to hear and building repetitively on the piano melody. The gimmicky drums were awful on this one. Philip Krätzer had a really great arrangement with a deeper sense for build-up and proper dynamics.
Id never pay 500 however lol , 150 would probably be max, from what information the video have me ,75 seems perfect to let ppl know I'm a good producer not trying to rob you
@@jessefiordimondo154 That's your decision, sure. But if people want to charge $500 and others are willing to pay that price, let them. Commissioning is an art form unto itself.
The first few seconds on that $75 composition is like realizing that *you're still not over* , up to the buildup and beatdrop. That was so badass and is honestly very suitable for a boss fight.
The $600 had a better start, especially with the background violin, but $75 knocked it out of the park overall. I'm stunned. No wonder he doubled his fee after this, and it's still cheap considering what he seems to be able to produce!
My main takeaway is just how much the core Mozart piece shines through, completely washing out all the added production in its brilliance. Just amazing.
Nicolaschazarre 5:33 (75$) is my fav hands down. You could've easily put this track in a game as the "bad guy" anthem during a boss battle. It's just that good at building tension
My favorite is the 8:38 one (Philippkraetzer $110). I don't think others can beat this orchestral and epic work honestly. Then for the electro ones, 6:07 (Nicholaschazarre $75), the drop is the most well executed and full in my opinion. All the elements really merge well, unlike most other remixes.
Absolutely! And you don't get listener fatigue. There's just the right amount of flourish to make it epic and just enough that it isn't jarring when you hear it the second or third..... time
I know nothing about remixing and I don't even care about electronic music. In fact, I have no idea how I got here in the first place, but I totally enjoyed your video. Your reactions are priceless! It's so much fun to watch someone share his passion with the others👍👍👍
Let's go philippkraetzer at $110! Seriously blew me away. I love how the symphony really took over at parts, and let the piano ring through at others. This really felt like a proper blend between the two. LOVED IT!
The $75 one was BY FAR the Best!!!! It almost felt like it was telling a story and it gave me goosebumps and a bit of anxiety towards the end. Amazing climax and worth every penny and then some!!!
So… I’ll probably get some backlash for this but as someone who played in orchestra through school and still plays my violin as an adult, I have to say that 8:33 Phillip, gave me chills, in an orchestra specific way. Like I could have heard that composition at the Kennedy center or in Star Wars, like it included the whole orchestra. The $75 one was amazing in a soloist standpoint though, and freaking incredible for that price point. This is just my two cents. But I’m a fan and subbing now! PS your piano skills are amazing. :)
Yes! His one was my favorite, followed by Nicholas. I think Nicholas probably lacked a little bit in the sound quality, but he captured the music really really well. Phillip had great sound quality, I loved the style as well.
I have to agree, the $300 one was my favourite. When the violin cut through it gave me goosebumps, that's when I know the music just hits different. Incredibly well done.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video as a music geek. It's so fun to see how each person adds their own little flairs to a very well known classical piece. The talent on some of the sub 100 guys is AMAZING!
I'm so glad I found this. I agree 100% with your assessments. A couple of those gave me goosebumps, shiver down my spine. What a fun video!! Thank you!! You should send a bonus to that $75 guy. What a bargain!! The cinematic $110 was also such a good value. The $300 one was the best. I wish you also had a longer video that played the top ones in their entirety.
13:07 YES! The violin in the background. I don't know music terminology ☹️ but I knew that was special, like a harmony? No one else did anything like it. IDK if it's considered a type of harmony or some other word for it, but it goes perfectly with the song.😊
The $75 was awesome. He should charge more. He got real talent and skills. I can't stop myself smiling from the awesomeness of his music. The $350 guy is also nice. His was perfect too.
Lmao in my opinion the 75 dollars one wins😂! Second place for 300 and third place for 600! I don’t know how it’s humanly possible to play such an insane arrangement and to compose one! Your my favourite RUclipsr man! Absolutely insane! Keep on going!
I liked the 75 dollars the most composition wise. Many of the more expensive options overpowered the piano part in many sections which I didn't like. Audio and production quality was better from the 300 dollars guy though.
I know everyone loved the $75 arrangement for the epic arcade boss battle vibes. But personally I can't stop listening to the philippkratzer arrangement. Feels like I just watched the climax of a film like nightmare before christmas just by listening to it. I love it.
I thought that last one was too much - it overpowered and drowned out the piano. I’m no musical genius - but I know what I like. Very interesting video - thank you so much!
OMG! nicolaschazarre all the way for me I actually got emotional! feeling so deep in my spirits :) I love classical (Beethoven) My granddaughter was taking piano lessons and she was a natural. She was like 5 and now 13. I wished she continued...
Just goes to show that higher price doesn't always mean the best. That $75 one sounded like something you would put in a video game for an epic boss battle or really intense cutscene. Worth every penny.
You have to view it from their point of view as well. Many people on Fiverr undercharge their work. Just think about it. They have to pay taxes as well. I don't know how long it takes to produce a song like that but if you charge $75 for it then you can not work on it more than two hours or it is not worth it. Being self employed you have to calculate a lot different than people that work a normal 9 to 5 job.
Nicolaschazarre was the best from start to finish. That ending was epic. If you had paid $7500 it would have been with it. Given your own criteria of what you were looking for, especially keeping the piano portion at front and center(focal point) it was exactly what you asked for and then more. WileyWest was actually off on his dubstep beat in a couple of spots. I also got bored with about 20 seconds left.
I see a lot of people going with the $75 as the winner, and I actually have to agree From a piano player point: Nuisances are everything, Pianissimo and Forte are 2 examples that mean Soft and Loud in music theory. It's not like EDM where a standard volume can play most of the time. So this producer was able to catch that incredible buildup into finally dropping at the end! Perfectly arranged! 10/10 From a producer point: Reason I like this one so much is because nothing sounds too muddled. EQ'ing can be so annoying when something is too bass heavy, or too mid heavy. This sounds like it just nails it. Bass it heard when it's needed, and the Piano takes up most of the treble side of the spectrum, so it's mainly working with the rest of what you got. 10/10 Hope to see your name again! (Listening again lol)
I've never even heard of doing this and it's not really my thing, but watching how happy it makes the MusicalBasics guy (sorry, I don't know his name) was worth every minute! He's so joyful, it made me happy too.
Same, I know next to nothing about this. Was in my recommendation randomly, and enjoyed the entire video thanks to this guy's enthusiasm. Always nice to see people actually enjoy shit. 😅
I personally agree with your ranking, following your parameters. However, I would definitely listen to Nicholaschazarre's (75) multiple times in a row compared to Wileywest's(300). Nicholas' has more of a older game feel that feels more simplistic, but definitely adds a bunch more to the song. The use of bass and higher parts accentuated the piano in a way that felt more subtle, almost like putting the piano in an elevated position and just playing bbackground. Wiley's version definitely connected into more of what you played. It also flowed well with the original and added just the right amount of suspense and increase in sound to it. The only thing I really disliked about it was the sheer amount of everything else going on around the piano. It was very well produced, but there was abpot of other elements added around the piano. It just isn't something I would play on repeat on a regular day. I'd most likely play it when I'm trying to stay focused or trying to get pumped up.
Yep, the "following your parameters" point. To me, these parameters were not clear to me until after all remixes had been presented. I had originally thought that the whole exercise would be to remix the 5th into an ultra-danceable EDM piece. To clarify: not just danceable (like re-interpreting it in 3/4 instead of 2/4 to make it a (possibly somewhat disturbing) waltz, or in 4/4 to make it a rumba - both of which would been reasonably good matches for the tempo of the 5th), but EDM-style danceable. I also assumed that changing the tempo was not allowed (it seems, however, some did that a bit, but no one went to 120 or 125bpm). Based on this assumption, the $600 piece by jmpaudiodesign would have been the winner (I actually did dance to all the tunes to check the danceability). But leaving my "stupid assumptions" aside and to consider which versions I'd actually like to listen to... Lindsey Mennenga's comment matches that perfectly.
75$ Easily takes it. He built it in a way that the remix will amplify the already epic piano song. While the others just tried to make a good standard remix.
I think I like the $75 one most, honestly. Good integration, really good energy, clean drops and he raise the intensity in build ups evenly so it really emphasized the build ups. For $75, that guy's work should easily be in the $150 to $200 range. That was solid, you could play that in a club and people would love it.
To start with, this is a great concept! Would love to see a final round between $300 vs $110 vs $75. And finally, able to listen to the full version of their arrangement…
I can only imagine what Beethoven would have thought of this. It really is amazing how great that piece is. No matter how it is improvised it still sounds great.
I thought I had seen something like this before. What an absolutely great idea to put together; And to put his competitors on the line! He has such a good ear for orchestration. I try not to miss any of his productions.
That was interesting, I don’t know anything about modern/mix music, this caught my attention because I listen almost exclusively to classical. By far the $75 arrangement was the most interesting and memorable.
Yeah i love the fact i could clearly hear the original yet it felt like the first time i heard the original on steroids. The others were good too but if i ever do music him and the one after as a collab would be straight fire.
Nicholas Chazare was epic. Philip Kratzer was professional movie worthy but I wish it had an epic beat element for the everyday listener. Peter Pim's remix sounded hip hop lol. The Big Kahunas remix sounds more like club listening instead of everyday listening, which doesn't really fit in either category. But all in all, Wiley West was definitely the best.
That last guy did exactly what I wanted. He didn’t try to take over what you were doing and he did a little back and forth with what I guess I would call the lifting of the work. Idkh to explain it, but he knew when to grab the audience’s attention, then hand it back to the piano. Plus the drumroll build up to the drop. The third guy was the most creative to me. He may not have been the best but goddamn he has potential.
all the producers did great especially the cinematic version but my number one is Chazarre followed by Wileywest. great music, undoubtedly Beethoven must've been very proud.

75$ is worth about 3.75 among us's
Anybody else wanna hear Slim Shady rap on this beat? Or is it just me... 🤔
Just went and compared it to the $300 back to back. The $75 blows it out of the water IMO. The drop is so much better. The build up so much smoother. It lets the piano shine when it’s supposed to, and adds more when necessary to keep it interesting. It’s really, really good.
it should be around USD 400
I think there are two different elements of “quality” to look at here:
1) Quality of the sound engineering, which in my opinion did mostly increase with price.
I honestly think the 75 one was the best.. but defo personal preference on what i liked..
Well put! I completely agree.
Such a nice comment right here.
Yes theres the 'Quality' of an early Beatles album recorded on a 4 track, and the 'quality' of an S club 7 album.
I know which quality I prefer.
@@MarkOfTzeentch The mix was muddy tho
$75 one is the perfect match to Beethovens 5th. Because they went with lower tones and that base, it just amplified how dark and visceral the symphony is while also having a matching complexity. Every beat and melody melded so perfectly but neither overpowered the other.
Exactly.
Same order for me.
It is so fun to watch this video! 👍👍👍Unbelievable that $75 produced such high quality remix of Lionel Piano solo! Thank you for explaining the selection process with professional contents and also sense of humor!❤️❤️❤️

I can't get over the $75 one. The moment the first few beats played, I suddenly felt like I was transported to a dystopian fantasy world where we're about to make the last stand for our survival.
To be fair to the dude with the $10,000 package, I feel like 10 grand for 90 minutes of custom music for a movie/film soundtrack is a steal *if he's good*
As someone who composes game/theme-like music as a hobby, the $75 one made me *HARDCORE* vibe
I like to think the purists find this sagrilegious whereas Beethoven would have loved it.
@@James-fi5rg If he was able to hear it. From what I remember, he wasn't able to hear the crowd applauding after a concert.

The €110 Philip Krätzer one was by far the best. It was more like Danny Elfman than Zimmer or Williams though. Incredible.
I don't really understand why he chose the $300 guy. The violin was nice, but hardly to hear and building repetitively on the piano melody. The gimmicky drums were awful on this one.
Philip Krätzer had a really great arrangement with a deeper sense for build-up and proper dynamics.
The $110 was also my favorite. Counterpoint and timbre were spot on.

The $110 one was the best. You could absolutely hear it in the trailer for a major studio’s film.
OMG! nicolaschazarre all the way for me I actually got emotional! feeling so deep in my spirits :) I love classical (Beethoven) My granddaughter was taking piano lessons and she was a natural. She was like 5 and now 13. I wished she continued...
Just goes to show that higher price doesn't always mean the best. That $75 one sounded like something you would put in a video game for an epic boss battle or really intense cutscene.
Worth every penny.
I wonder how these mixes would have sounded if the producers had known they'd be played for millions.
Always give your best. Lesson learned lol
Good point.
Moral of the history: you have to hire everyone and listen to all of them until you find the right one
I see a lot of people going with the $75 as the winner, and I actually have to agree
From a piano player point: Nuisances are everything, Pianissimo and Forte are 2 examples that mean Soft and Loud in music theory. It's not like EDM where a standard volume can play most of the time. So this producer was able to catch that incredible buildup into finally dropping at the end! Perfectly arranged! 10/10
From a producer point: Reason I like this one so much is because nothing sounds too muddled. EQ'ing can be so annoying when something is too bass heavy, or too mid heavy. This sounds like it just nails it. Bass it heard when it's needed, and the Piano takes up most of the treble side of the spectrum, so it's mainly working with the rest of what you got. 10/10
Hope to see your name again!
(Listening again lol)
I've never even heard of doing this and it's not really my thing, but watching how happy it makes the MusicalBasics guy (sorry, I don't know his name) was worth every minute! He's so joyful, it made me happy too.

I completely agree!!
You should be listening without knowing the cost until after you rank them all… I believe it influences in some way. Human behavior is what it is 🤷♀️
But we need to also consider value for money - was the $600 track 6 times better than the $100 track? Doesn't seem so.
Agreed
Hear, hear
Ye the most expensive one deserves an even lower ranking imo

75 gave me chills on my neck. thats how i gauge whether its a good tune or not lol. well done.
