Guys i did this and it was heavenly! PLEASE make this!! There is nothing you need to change, i added cream on top before baking tho

@@naomilopez31 you can search this on youtube to see it visually! It crates a moist top as opposed to the usual crispy and dry top
It comes down to preference and also it creastes softer buns bc it trapes more moisture into the dough

I just made your cinnamon rolls this a.m., and of course I'm thrilled, so thank-you. Now I came across the strawberry rolls and guess what's happening for Christmas morning. I've always said, when I make Julia Childs recipes its a NO-FAIL..that's your recipes too! Cakes, pies, brownies and OMG frostings that too often come with bad results...again, not yours. I love your recipes and I love the way you explain each. I do need to get your book and place it on the shelf with my copy of Julia's cookbook.

Oh Wow! I made these strawberry rolls, following the recipe to the letter. The instructions are excellent! The strawberry rolls are sooooo delicious!!! The house smells wonderful. The dough was so nice to work with. I don't have a dough mat but floured parchment paper worked nicely. They are not cloyingly sweet. The glaze is luscious! I will definitely make these again! So, so good!
This is amazing! I’m not very keen on the cinnamon rolls, but can imagine how this will taste. The shop-bought fruit rolls are dry with not much fruit in them. This recipe is also easy to make, so thanks once again John.

1st. Never heard of these rolls but I'm definitely going to make them. 2nd. I'm glad you talked about the use of active yeast. I've actually had this happen to me. The packets came from the same box which was not expired yet my 1st attempt at raising the yeast didn't work. I was so close to using it but I had "that feeling" in my gut so I started over. Thank goodness I did or I would have wasted all of those ingredients and time. As I wrote I do plan on making these but I have to wait. Right now I only have instant yeast. Can't wait to make them though. Thanks John... 😋
