@@simonmanley6257 Mr. Man take it easy. When Nigeria currency was stronger than US Dollar in the 70s Nigerians traveled all over the world. When Nigeria Naira was at par with British Pound in 70s and early 80s, Nigerians trooped to UK and spent Naira in London and British received us warmly. We spent Nigeria Nair, our currency on the street of London.
A time came, Nigeria went down economically, largely due to self inflicted Hydra headed monster called CORRUPTION. It destroyed every fabric of the nation. When you're down you're down. The only solution is to go up. Period. When Ghana went down too in the 80s due to corruption, the Ghanaians ran to Nigeria and sojourn there. Later they went back to Ghana during the exodus called GHANA MUST GO. That was a phase in Ghana's life. Today, Ghana is now growing which I am happy for the entire country.
In like manner, Nigeria has gone down and since there is nothing after down, we have to start climbing and go up. Right now, Nigeria going through her own BEND PROCESS of climbing up. We have seen the worse of our lives as a nation. But our graph has started looking up now. If you understand Stock, FX and Crypto markets very well, we have been experiencing a BEARISH trend for decades now, but our candle stick has changed to green and we have started experiencing a BULLISH trend upward. You see many Nigerians youth does not understand the PROCESS of switching from downward trend to upward trend. You see, that process is full of PAIN. They are reacting to the pain and I can't blame them. But they will all enjoy their country soon.
You see, our case is different and our challenges is horrible due to our population that is highly diverse. We have over 400 tribes with over 300 languages. Also with two dominant religion, CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM at 50:50 ratio. As the saying goes, the BIGGER the head, the BIGGER the headache ... So you can imagine what a small misunderstanding can cause. Our corrupt politicians exploited our differences to their selfish advantage. That is why you see some are trying to travel out for survival, just the way GHANA ran to Nigeria too in 80s.
Life is a cycle, what goes up must surely come down. What goes around, comes around. Nigeria is already bouncing back with all indices on ground now. Many may not know it but it is what it is. Nigeria is coming back strong on the continent of Africa and world in general. We are born great, that's who we are.
      MAY NIGERIA CONTINUE TO SUCCEED.🙏🏾

The one you saw in the beach is an African syncretized Christianity -- Christianity with infusion of African beliefs. For instance, the process of washing the head to ward away bad lucks and attract new good luck is distinctly African. The woman whose head was being washed apparently had problem of keeping men; the prayer was to wash that past off, and to attract a new good man that would be permanent.
