HELLO FROM LAGOS, NIGERIA -- COUNTRY #175!! 🇳🇬 I truly had a lot of fun making this video inside Africa's craziest and most populated city. Did you know that over 20 million people are living in Lagos?! It is hands down one of the most hectic, chaotic, and vibrant places I've ever been with a LOT of stories to tell. I'm overwhelmed.
My local friend and RUclipsr named Tayo (his channel linked below) has been taking me all around his bustling city of Lagos and we've had an absolute blast together. Surprisingly, this was one of the hardest videos I've ever made because it's REALLY challenging to shoot content on these streets. People don't like being on camera here and they make a huge commotion in the streets and ask for money (etc) whenever they see it from a distance.
In any regard, I hope you enjoy this episode of my $10 series and get a glimpse into local Nigerian culture. More to come tomorrow! Nigeria is awesome!

it's so disappointing how Nigeria and other African countries are so culturally rich and developing with a good rate yet people think these countries are poor filled with slums and looked down upon. Love Nigeria, from India.
It's western media racism. If they show the real modern Africa, it will contradict their whole 'racial superiority' myth, won't it? So they always report from remote villages and slums.
Western propaganda and narcissism

I'm a Nigerian and it hurts me to say this but you were amazingly over priced.
I’m sure as traveled as he is, he knows it is the nature of commerce to haggle prices in open markets like this. He obviously doesn’t want or need to, no big deal.
@Glamorous Taee what does "they need the money " mean? Do they look like charity cases or what?
@Red Divinity about 50% less 😂😅😁, it common practice to haggle so they start very high and you get to a middle ground. Even for locals same is done though for Foreigners its starts higher. Normally people dont like to pay asking price so you start higher then haggle to your intended price
@Glamorous Taee wow I guess I better start looking up to people like you for survival since I'm from a "third world country " . Wait a sec let me go of my iPhone for a sec then I'll get back to you. I would say Nigeria is very similar to the India. I am getting that aura and that feeling as indian markets in the video
Love from India
They Are actually very very similar🇳🇬.🇮🇳 Both countries are culturally rich. Both are widely diverse in Tribes men, culture and religion. Both are known for their dense population of same race identity(Indians are middle eastern and Nigerians are black- west African black people to be specific) sadely Both suffer from language/culture/religion discrimination among fellow citizens, also immense economic inequality, Digital divide and corruption. The Market and transport living are also very similar. Also local manufacturing buisness too. In short Nigeria 🇳🇬 is like the India of Africa and India 🇮🇳 is like the Nigeria of Middle East.
