Amazing. Beautiful and really cheap. In 2019 i spent three busy nights in Helsinki hotels spending €380 per night. I had my conference at the Hilton but couldn't get a room there as there were many conferences that week in Helsinki. This can be a fantastic deal. Honestly, never seen this range of AirBnB.

There are beautiful homes on the mainland too… Places like Ikeja, Maryland, Ilupeju, etc have been updated and now have foreign embassies, esp. in Ikeja. Nigeria & Africa are rising and are the future. 😊
I’ve been to some very lovely quiet neighborhoods in Ojodu. My Dad has property in Ojodu but it’s not in an enclosed estate. But he also ran a business there so the location was probably more conducive to his business. This house shown here is really nice and very reasonable per night. The island ones are going for way more and they are not even as nice. I’ve heard some horror stories!
The mainland has some beautiful houses stop sticking too much on the island and move around lagos, i discovered Amuwo Odofin/Ago palace recently. Some mansions there
Nice place but i think the guy went overboard in the decorations in the living room. its like he saw so many nice things in the market and decided to put all in the house wether or not the flow together. Having that royal luxury look furniture juxtaposed agaisnt that red and blue modern light in the ceiling is arghhhhhhh. So many nice concepts stand alone but too many things fighting for focal point. The cinema room is nice modern furniture with the modern lights
Why don't we let in natural light in our African countries? We have so much sunshine but boy, do we love curtains, which we keep drawn in the daytime ! Just no cosiness to this house apart from that sitting room/ projector area ....

I've traveled to many places and seen good things, but compared them to Lagos is not even close. Lagos is far better and cheaper. In the past, Westerners only showed poor places and kids with flies and poverty in Africa which I think is unfair and based on Racism mindset, I'm glad that a good guy like you showing the nice places shows a good heart and good faith in You. There are even some states that have finer residential houses than lagos. Have u been to uyo, theie golf course, their world class stadium, Ewet housing along other estates, they even have thier own airplane Ibom Air.. Have u been to Nnewi or Abriba? I'm sure not. Our in-law, please also visit other states and make videos about the environment as well as the amenities. Try out places like Port Harcourt, Jos, Abuja, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Kano and Calabar. They are all safe and fun places to be. Let the woeld see that there is more to nigeria than problems, politics and poverty.
One of the really cool things about the house, is there wasn't electricity/power when this video was shot, or their staircase don't have light bulbs for lighting. No wonder the staircase was dark. Thats a cool thing.

One of the really cool things about the house, is there wasn't electricity/power when this video was shot, or their staircase don't have light bulbs for lighting. No wonder the staircase was dark. Thats a cool thing.

Do you know as hot as Saudi is, it gets EXTREMELY COLD in December, January, February. I mean European cold, that people wear winter jackets.
