- This is the story of how I met my wife told from the US Mexico border. This is the closest she can come to my country while we wait for her visa to be approved. We expect the process to take roughly two years and after that we can live together full time.

I really love your wife's vibe. She is authentic, a beauty, and I can see that she is fun to be with. Wishing you more love and undèstanding in your marriage❤.
Thank you so much!
You bet.😅😅😊😊
She's probably using him to get into the United States! Where on Earth did he meet a Nigerian that didn't already live in the US?? Very suspicious!😊
From one American/Nigerian couple to another, we always love it when you post a video of the two of you traveling together!
The good, the bad, the fat, the ugly, the rude, the abusive, and more
Nigeria is packed. Common to all is a form of sincerity and abandon or sayingnthingsntheyntheybsee thing. Their expressions rock the English language. Their accent is stimulating. Vote for Chdinma in Mrs Universe happening in Mexico City now to the final on November 16.
Shai, I can feel her. Just like Moses, you can see it but you can enter.
However, your story will be the best at the end dear, just be happy with your Hubby. ❤
Your relationship is a source of education and inspiration to so many.
This is so beautiful to watch. I smiled all through. She's just like me, very natural, no forming and it's beautiful when you meet someone who appreciates that, just like my hubby too.
I just started watching your content, and I've been binge watching, I'm so in love with your travel content. You have a beautiful wife and I sure want to see more content with both of you, and I'm praying that her visa is approved soon so she can be with you in the US
I and my wife are going through this exact same situation and we have a 3 years old daughter because we’re married and lived together in Abu Dhabi for over two years..this is the most frustrating process ever and I don’t wish his for any family!..I’ve missed my daughter’s birthdays and events I’d never get back again!..Just to give you a glimpse of what families are going through..You guys are extremely lucky to have opportunities to meet in other countries..some of us don’t..my family have to come to Nigeria to visit because it’s obviously not easy to get visas to other countries as a Nigerian unfortunately..well done and good luck to you both ❤
We are completely aware of our fortune here compared to some others
It's not, and there's a good reason for that! I must say, I don't feel sorry for them. They should have known this was a problem before they decided to marry. Why doesn't he just go live in Nigeria??
@@suew4609 you could always go back to where your ancestors descended to America from too. Just a thought….💭 Karen
That was 2021, I visiting Nigeria the same time. I was also to meet Dami about the same time. My friend Juliet had given me her contact but when I reached out she was in Abeokuta😊. I didn’t know love was brewing! Happy for both of you
"Love was brewing." Im definitely using this! 😂🥰
😂😂
Wonderful story your wife is beautiful congrats you've gotten the best
Very simple and love able Nigeria lady , I just love your character God bless your union..
Completely understand! Ppl who haven’t been through legal immigration in USA don’t understand!
My husband and I are 1 1/2 year into this process with legal immigration. It’s so sad they can’t even visit on a tourism visa till spouse visa is approved. It should never take so long to be with immediate family (spouse, child, parent). It’s very unfortunate we have missed so many special Moments, first Christmas, birthdays, holidays…. 😢 we’ll never get that time back! Hang in there! You have a long ways to go!!
That's a stupid rule, making couples wait two years before they can live together. Borders are man made to really keep people apart 😢
@ yeah. I understand not having “open borders” but coming the legal way should be a much easier pathway with some changes.
@@Dimples247then you have people coming into this country through illegal channels. The U.S is crazy and their priorities all messed up, what a joke! 😂😅🙄
😢
The legal path for married couples is brutal. Yet, the gov't bends over backward for illegals.
Please feature your wife more in your videos. She's hilarious 😅😅😅 I enjoyed hearing her narrate how you met😊😊❤
Really enjoyed watching this, would love to see your wife more in your videos pls
Please make sure you use this route when you finally get your visa to visit the USA. Make sure you walk through that pedestrian and take pictures and videos.
Very good one. We look fwd to that.
Chris you found the perfect soulmate in Nike you are fit like a glove , 2 down to earth individuals with so much love ❤❤❤❤ and humility ❤❤❤❤. Please continue to show us both your journeys together ❤️

I love your beautiful love story thank you so much for sharing. This is so encouraging and beautiful. You two are so awesome and genuine. May God preserve you two, your home and love in Jesus Name Amen.

You have no idea of what goes on behind closed doors!!!
It was meant to be. Keep the fire burning! Beautiful couple! Hope the US embassy see this and fast track your application, good luck❤
I Enjoyed your story. Was smiling all trough 😊😊
Thank you both for sharing your story. I pray that you would both be able to live together soon. And may your love continue to wax strong. Such an inspiring story of intentionality and sacrifice.
You probably already know this: contact your American Congress person. You would be amazed at the wonders your Congressperson can perform to expedite the process.
The separation is emotionally, physically, and financially draining. Two long years, kwa?
Remember these sacrifices and moments the rest of your lives, especially during hard times.
I am eternally grateful to then Congressman Ronald Vernie Dellums and his staff. 💯👏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🇺🇸
You realize that is to protect us American citizens. We can't just let anybody in that decided to marry an American. There are laws to protect the citizens, not the illegals and not those. Just wishing to migrate to our country. Be realistic. We can't let everybody in anyway!
You both are lovely❤😂
I pray all will go well
First time here. Unique couple. Watching from Rochester NY. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Congratulations to you two! I pray that her U.S visa will be finalized soon so you can be together as a family. You both are a beautiful couple❤
She should register for a short 2years study programme in the US, that way she can enter and stay with you. At the end of the 2years she can then apply for citizenship.
What a beautiful wife you have.
That is certainly a Blessing from God that u found each other
Congratulations guys. My sister is the real package
Do you have more like her? Hey guys, another of her sister here. We want more like her. How do we trip? We are all nice and good guys like the American but we are not all Americans.
This is just real, I love both of you.
Just found your channel. Congrats.i hope you all can be living together soon.
Congratulations 👏... You both will be together soon ☺️
Thank you for sharing how you two met! I had always wondered. So she is a tourist and willing to host strangers at her home, that is how she met you ❤! Awww he was giving her some sugar ❤! She was all shy and Nigerian on him 😂
I and my wife were repatriated from Nigeria on our first visit after years of being married in Europe. We had no visa! The Europe foregn office and nigerian Embassy website said...No problem, you guys can get visa on arrival...We actually wept at MMA as we were forced to return to Europe on the next available flight. Politics is crazy!. Some said you guys must get...Naija wife visa..., Naija husband visa....if it was a foreign man. Barriers of Tit for tat of countries relationships with one another, taking no actual coignisance of their' travelling citizens'interest or consideration. Nice to hear from your wife today. I think you should let her feature more as you guys may like in the future. You kinda like got the code with this episode.and something greater is coming. Cheers!
I love your story . Please I am Mexican American living in Ibadan... been wanting my husband to come travel to Mexico so i can show him my culture. Can you shed light on why Canadian visa was necessary? ❤ Thanks for the content. Love you guys
I am guessing it was easy for her to get as a Nigerian which opens up visa-free travel to Mexico and some European countries. How are you finding Ibadan?
@@BoskiM Ibadan is lovely. Been here for years now
Hi Roxxy,
I hope you are enjoying Ibadan.
As a Nigerian, the easiest way to enter México is with any one of Canada/US/Schengen visas. If I don’t have a Canada visa, it means I have to apply for Mexico visa which does not come easy. I prefer to just get one of the mentioned visas above, use it to enter the original country and come to Mexico from there.
@@DaraForEnjoymentOnly God bless you ! Ok will be trying this next year I think. I know you plan trips for Nigerians, is navigation of these visas one of the services you offer ?
@@DaraForEnjoymentOnlySee... Mexico doesn't just take anybody into their country either. It's odd how they expect us to take all their citizens into our country, along with everybody that travels through Mexico to the US! People act like the US is the only one that has laws. We're not, every country has them! And people are not supposed to break the law!

I am just wondering why you didn't get a K-1 visa? much faster! You guys are awesome. Greetings from Dallas.
"DUO INTENTION" If you have an I-130 marriage visa in progress, a K-1 Tourist Visa is automatically denied.
Definitely enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Apply for your wife at the US Embassy there, CR-1 it’s faster to enter legally in US.
Cute couple, beautiful love story. I love your contents. More grace ❤❤

Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your love story with us. I’m curious, would it have been possible for her to visit you in the US before y’all got married?

Awwww so sorry about that May God grant you a miracle earlier than expected in Jesus Name Amen.
May God bless your marriage and home in Jesus Name Amen.
Is just matter of time you guys will get there
My Nigerian husband and I are in the exact same position but I am applying for him to get a Canadian Visa 3 hours away from me in Traverse City; for us to meet for our one year wedding anniversery in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. I would love to know where the two of you safely met in Nigeria. That will be our plan B, if Canada doesn’t work. Also, our USCIS I-130 Marriage Visa might be granted in July 2025. Estimated wait time for us is 15.5 months. If we get approved at the same time, it would be fun to meet up in BEAUTIFUL Traverse City.
I HAVE QUESTIONS! HOW CAN AI REACH YOU.
question why would you ask where to met safely ????????????? in nigeria
Because the US State Department posted a level 3 travel advisory warning and my husbands personal experience being hit with road bandits a few months ago. They stole his money, credit cards and stole his phone. As a white person, therefore, I'm curious about where whites are safest in Lagos, Victoria Island or Abuja. Kidnapping for ransom is a reality. Yet, white people travel and work there safely. I would like to know where those safer compounds or communities are??? @richevericheve5156
@@richevericheve5156Because of the Level 3 Travel Advisory warnings and my Husband's personal experience being robbed of credit cards, cell phone and money from ROAD BANDITS!!! MY Husband is a large muscular man; still they got him. He was also extorted by police. I hear there are compounds and communities where it is much safer than others. I would love to hear where some of those communities are. Businesses seem to protect employees they bring in from all around the world, but that won't help us integrate as well, right?
Nigeria is pretty safe. Don’t believe everything you read in the media. Chicago and NewYork have some crime problem but that doesn’t mean the USA isn’t safe. It’s the same situation across board. Be positive. I hope things work out for you. Wishing you and your hubby luck.

You two will produce some gorgeous children.
its nice to see the both of you but so so sad and frustrating the idiotic process you have to go through all because some have failed and some scammed for green cards ,the the usa have to do is say if you divorce within 5 years of getting your greencard you will be deported back to your birth country simple then the innocent and true can be together straight away ..thx for sharing
It's a good law! It keeps out the riff-raff that just want to come here to get citizenship. We can't take the whole world in! They should keep that 2-year law to make sure they are really a couple and not just scamming to get in the country!!!
It's not idiotic at all!
@@suew4609 i am not sure if you have experienced any of this process but you are entitled to your opinion till its taken from you watch and see whats happening in this area but thats another topic

Hello, did your wife apply for the mexican visa from Canada or she had to return to Nigeria to get a Mexican visa?
She applied for the Canada visa while in Nigeria before we even got married but got it after we were married. It can be done online but you need to do biometrics in person at a Canadian embassy. Not sure if you need to be in Nigeria or can do abroad but you will need to physically go for the visa sticker at the end.
Thanks for the very quick response. I was actually asking about her Mexican visa. Does she have a Mexican visa? If Yes, did she get the visa from Nigeria or applied for it in Canada?
Generally speaking, if married, to meet each other using the tourist visa path outside Canada, you apply for a tourist visa from inside the country where either of you are a citizen. Either of you can apply for the other. You apply directly through the consulate of your destination country from your home country. Also, a Spouse can act as the "Representative" on behalf of a spouse in the Canadian Tourist Visa IRCC application system.
@AuthenticTraveling travel for Biometrics in Abuja or Lagos is very expensive round trip flights from Asaba...
@@reneeleon6953thank you
Pls do more Naisa accents😂❤
I’m Nigerian too married to American Caucasian
Where did you both get married. Why didn’t you invite her to the United States and get married in the United States?
Visaaaaa oooh! 😂
How do other people seem to just walk right in. 😢 it's not fair.
Can someone explain why she cannot go to the US ? i do not get it .
She doesn’t have a visa for the US. It takes years to get one even after marrying an American
@AuthenticTraveling Why did she not apply for and get a tourist's visa to the United States BEFORE both of you got married? That way, she would be in the US while she applies for a green card or other residency permit.
@George-q6p a tourist visa is not easy to get otherwise everyone would have one
@IkesLionsDen A US tourist visa is easiest if you already have various schengen visas and possibly a schengen state passport as the lady in the video does. But if you are already married, then you must go the route of a married couple's visa instead of a simple tourist visa.
You mean TLC lied to us on 90 day fiancé ?!😮
She isnt allowed to visit the US even for a vacation? Even to just stay for two weeks? Thats so weird, i thought if you got a passport you could travel (not live)
They will deny the visitor visa on the assumption that you plan to stay there with your spouse and not return thus circumventing the process. No amount of evidence will change their mind on that unfortunately.
@AuthenticTraveling omg that's not fair! They just assume you are going to break the law, I'm sorry you guys can't even spend time together in your own home, hopefully you'll be together soon, maybe she'll have to lie next time lol, I have no idea what the process is, like when they ask why you're visiting at the airport, how do they know your wife is married to you (American,) they just know? I feel like there must be a way around it lol I don't want yall to get in any trouble though, I wish the best for you guys and hope time flies so she can finally move in with you
@@christinelicitrathey don’t ask at the airport, they ask even before you leave your country (when you need to get a visa).
It’s so interesting reading comments from people who don’t need visas to travel as much. I don’t blame you for it at all - hopefully we get there someday.
Really ❤
First time hearing ur wife speak

I love it!🥰 ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
Nothing last forever, this will come to an end. if you and her was men't for each other, then just give life a chance.
Even as a yoruba guy, I found your wife so naural and down-to-earth.
Same here. I'm American. My wife is Brazilian and has no visa after over two years of marriage. But we no longer care. We are living steps from the beach in very beautiful and safe Santos Brazil and loving the lower cost of living, very favorable currency exchange rate, and free health care system here in Brazil. As an American, we are programed to believe that the US is the "greatest country in the world". That's totally bull. Once you experience living abroad you discover that the US is kind of a shit hole.
Why do you need to wait 2+ years since you are the spouse of a US citizen and immigrant visa is readily available for you?
It takes two years for USCIS to approve the spousal visa. Tourist visas are not allowed to visit a spouse. They would get denied.
@AuthenticTraveling Did you submit the I-130 petition already?
It must have gotten even more stricter because when I did my husband stuff then it took only 6-9 months.
Not too long not stressful at all.
Things will workout for yall by God’s grace.
❤yall.
@@AuthenticTravelingbut what if I'm actually not interested in living in US. I just want to probably spend a month or few weeks with my family.
Also, after getting a spousal visa... do you have to stay in US for months to retain its validity or you can just come in and go out anytime?
Your wife is funny 😂😂and I'm just like her, i can talkkk ehh especially when am comfortable 😂😂
Are you a Nigerian, white teeth, similar complexion etc?
How come u didn’t do the 90 days fiancé thing? Do u have to wait 2 years for a fiancé too?
