She kind of sound like she settled for him because her options kept dwindling and her preferences wanted her to be a tradwife but she was too much of an independent woman so she tagged them intimidated. Her body language was off.
Paul, I have followed you for years, and I'm glad to see you in the podcast space. You are needed here. Your interviewing skills show how much of an excellent communicator you are.
Paul, thanks for explaining, demisexual. I now know I am demisexual. I have only had long distance relationship since I was 19 years old, the longest lasted 8 years because I saw some red flags when we couldn't agree on marriage after 5 years engagement. I was married for 14 years but always seems to be carrying the burden of responsibility in London. Now I met a wonderful man in Florida 3 years now, engaged 1 year and have had no argument, we have had disagreements but when we talk about it we understand why the other thought that way and things are easily resolved. Even where we are going to be finally living when the time comes. We are closer to retirement so petty arguments are not worth dwelling on. However, being from a Charismatic Pentecostal faith has me holding back because he has not taken his water baptism even though he attends church and his faith in God is very strong. I'd hate to waste his time and mine because of this issue. Could you please help me to see beyond this matter? I've asked him and he said he hasn't seen any church he want to be an active member in because of past experience. When I'm in the States he takes me to church he visits but their teachings are not what we believe but their fellowship is really lovely.
I love when she said.....confidant woman is a filter itself. Filter out men who Likely have toxic traits & ego issues. When i understood & accepted that, i was ok not being approached

Here for our sis Toni and soon to be brother Taiwo. Toni really deserves everything good. She has leveled us up in soo many ways by her content. Personally, as a firstborn daughter she's been soo instrumental!!
As a formerly secure who became anxious after dating an avoidant, people really underestimate how STRONG that neural connection is to someone you love. Doesn’t make you weak or “not as secure as you thought” if your attachment style changes during a dating experience-it’s human nature to be reactive to someone who you allow access to your heart
This was a really great interview. The questions, the flow, the breakaway segments explaining a word, major shout out to the interviewer, very professional journalism!
Gorgeous couple not just looks, but the more important things on their communication style and appreciation for each other, a lot of Tawo sayings are also very beautiful, wishing them the best 🙌🏾 love wins 👌🏾
Finally being loved the right way or when your partner is 'out loving' you, it truly feels like an anti-venom coursing through your body🥺🥺🥺. It feels so strange, but so good. May our bodies be flushed with good love. Thank you to chocolate and caramel for sharing themselves with us.
Having dated a secure man, an avoidant man, and an anxious covert narcissist, over the years they’ve all taught me to love myself more than I love anyone else. 14years later with no sex and no relationship or situationship, I have travelled and seen parts of the world that have opened my eyes to critical thinking, learning and being not only patient with myself but being content. The way you love and treat yourself truly shows others how to love and treat you. Toni is right if you’re not sure of yourself and who you’re in this world, you’ll end up loosing yourself in the wrong relationship and become a shell of what you used to be. Equip yourself with knowledge on love, most people think you just fall into love. NOPE hunny, you have to read about love languages, your childhood traumas, family dynamics, financial literacy, the art of contentment, and more. These subjects all play a pivotal role in how you love and who you choose to fall in love with. Hence why most people are in toxic relationships because they’ve not taken time to learn about love and what that looks like or what it means for them. Anyway I digress, good discussion from both the talk show host and the couple diving into different relationship dynamics.
Love your comment!! Also something to note is that there is some controversy around the concept of ‘love languages’ as it is pretty shoddy. Worth looking further into if anyone is interested.
In the Nigerian/Yoruba culture, his name means he’s a twin, and there are names for twins. I read, they have the highest set of twins in the world. So, the previous commenter spelled the actual name correctly. Not doing your homework about other cultures is not demure.
I ended this episode almost in tears. I could see things differently and it made me question my decisions in past relationships. I am definitely leaving this…packed. Thank you so much for this.
Things I learnt: 8:12 - Your partner can change your attachment style 13:14 - You do not have to be sucessful before looking for a relationship 27:08 - An attractive person is not always a cheater 46:45 - Words of wisdom: Life does not always workout the way it should and sometimes it's for the best 55:04 - Healing from past relationships is the foundation for the next relationships that follow
It’s truly refreshing to see people who share a similar, grounded mindset😍 In a world so filled with shallow, struggle love and confused perspectives, those with simple, healed, and balanced common sense often stand out as “difficult.” I absolutely loved everything about Toni and Taiwo’s episode😊 May God bless their relationship, granting them wisdom and understanding to support each other in every way they need😊
Thank you so much,Toni and Taiwo and of course Paul for inviting them onto this podcast. There were so many gems in this. I do believe what is meant to be will always be and when we work on ourselves, we end up with the person that will empower us and bring out the best version of ourselves. I have worked on myself a lot over the past few years and read many self help books to guide me, so everything she said about paying attention to gut instincts was brilliant. Also thank you for defining struggle love, i think that was the best definition i have heard. I must say, these two seem very wise and wholesome, wish them all the best in their relationship!❤️
What a wholesome conversation. Thank you for sharing your love insights with us. As a single in the UK, it means a lot and quite reassuring that not settling is not the same as being difficult
Loved this entire interview. They are so geniune and authentic. Amazing how they worked through long distance relationships especially at a time when social media connections gives options not within your immediate vacinity. Requires special attention and consideration for each other. They mention very important ingredients needed for a strong foundation in a relationship. ❤
This episode is a gem. It is enlightening, light, fun and just soul-soothing. I'm a skeptic but in the same breath I love observing love and seeing people like these two warmed my heart. I wish nothing but the very best for this couple. The world needs more unions like this because great things are born from it.
This spoke to me! I was also in a relationship with someone who had an avoidant attachment style and I constantly sought his approval and second guessed myself. I see those behaviors showing up in my new relationship and I am doing my work in counseling to reverse those behaviors. I've always been a confident woman and it's been quite enlightening to see how a partner can change your attachment style. If you don't fee secure in the relationship, you will start to show up anxious. If you have never heard of attachment styles, look them up - so eye opening! Thank you for having this discussion so openly.
I agree that learning the different attachment styles is vital. Just had to gracefully walk away from an avoidant... to much of an emotional roller coaster for me.
Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let him go i did all i could to get him back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring him back
Why did she leave you? Was it because she was putting everything into you but you weren't focusing on what actually made her happy? Happy people don't leave relationships.
I have to subscribe. The interviewer is intelligent and handled the interview very intelligently with grace and dignity. I love it . I look forward to watching more interviews sessions from Paul.
Watched first because I saw Toni and I know she always speaks sense. Subscribed after watching and learning a lot. Your show has this calmness and tranquillity it gives. Well done Paul. I love how you host. Top tier!
I think this has to be one of the major issues with young men, The need to be successful before finding a partner. I don't know if it's the fear of rejection or it's just a our sense of responsibility but He answered that beautifully.
For the Host: The way you handled the entire convo, it's so interesting. Your style of articulating is unique and not to mention the times you paused to explain to us some terms. You're literally educating us and I'm literally learning. Thank you Sir. For the Couple: From where I'm sitting right now, I feel your authenticity. You mentioned how "it is better offline than what we see online" and I believe that. This is so good, it can ONLY be God. The same God who started it, will take it until forevermore. P.s: "You" is mentioned in the second paragraph because it's referring to the couple as one as " the two have become one"
Wow this is amazing. I am myself in a long distance relationship, she lives in Brazil as I live in Las Vegas. Loved hearing their stories and perspectives. Learned alot from this ♥️🙏🏾
I absolutely loved watching this . I laughed out loudddd at the Tinder Swindler part. This reminded me about my incredible relationship and how we also made long distance work. You both are amazing and the host was great. Incredible interview 🎉
I remember discovering I was demi sexual from a young age , in adulthood I gave in to the peer pressure of being sexual which I regretted deeply as I always left feeling empty but now I stand proud in knowing who I am and not letting the idea of being a woman being dictated of being a sexual object. Love this , really inspiring and relatable - need more strong black women who are nuanced and doesn’t necessarily epitomise what Sexyred preaches - nothing wrong with that too but I’m enjoying this a lot
I follow both of them and literally so incredibly happy for them both. Two beautiful, bright, humans blessing others with their love and how they honor themselves and each other❤❤❤
I had the exact conversation 2 days ago, with my long distance partner, about making sure we make up (when we have disagreements) before either of us go to sleep that day! Communication is so key when you’re apart, these two give us hope for our relationship ✨🤍
This made me love them even more, I love their venerability and it really put things into perspective for me that my mindset is in the correct place. More blessings to their union ❤️
This is the most wholesome interaction I have watched, honestly!!! A friend recommended this and I’m so grateful he did! I have learn a whole lot! Two many lessons, can’t even pick one that stood out for me! But I’ll say it’s the part where she she got emotional while explaining how confident she is about Taiwo’s love for her. Beautiful!!! I think anyone would be so blessed to experience that- never wandering!❤❤
Wow, big hit for me was validating that I truly was a secure woman when I started a relationship with an insecure man who in turn made me anxiously attracted. I just analyzed my last situationship with another highly insecure man who could not handle conflict otlr showing up for uncomfortable conversations to progress our relationship and he opted to blow up the bridge and dump text me. Now I am highly dismissive avoidant due to that experience. I don't believe in attachment styles. I do believe people simply bring out the best or worst in you and the goal is to find someone who will bring out the best.
Wow. What a well done interview. You're an excellent interviewer. Thank you for sharing! This was great to watch and will definitely be back to watch it again. So many simple yet though provoking principles were shared. Self-discovery and self-care are such good things. Praying their union brings forth great things! x
This podcast was an absolute pleasure to listen to. Three highly intelligent articulate people with no uhmmm's, aaarrr's, or 'likes' every few minutes. Very thought provoking.
I love their response to the biggest misconception about their relationship. I believe their love for each other is real because of what they say/do compared to some other online couples
Watching this captivating video stirs up painful memories of the recent end of my 4 year relationship. My beloved partner chose to depart, leaving me with an unyielding ache. Despite my relentless efforts to reconcile, I find myself grappling with frustration and an inability to envision a future without him. Despite attempts to purge him from my mind, I remain haunted by his absence, feeling compelled to express my longing here.
It's hard to say goodbye to someone you love; I experienced this when my 12-year relationship ended. However, I couldn't just let him go; instead, I tried everything to win him back. Eventually, I turned to a spiritual counsellor for assistance, and he was able to help me win him back.
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked him up now online. impressive Wow I just looked Father Obah Eze on the net he’s very legit thanks once again ❤
I really enjoyed this episode and many moments brought me to tears. It's always beautiful when a person finds their person. Paul you did such a great job with this conversation!
The questions are phenomenal. The interviewer is so present and the guests clearly feel so comfortable. Not sure about these intermission segments though…where we are spoon fed the obvious. Feels condescending and interrupts the flow of the conversation. This interviewer is so highly skilled this doesn’t need to be so tightly edited. Would love a more authentic flow.
im in love with this conversation and these two in particular will definitely look into them but I feel like the title doesn't do this myriad of a podcast justice
I love the way you explain after each segment of their discussion. It takes a lot of work to discover yourself to be a great partner. It's worth the time and effort to become the best person you can be.

Wow this is amazing. I am myself in a long distance relationship, she lives in Brazil as I live in Las Vegas. Loved hearing their stories and perspectives. Learned alot from this ♥️🙏🏾
I love their mindsets.
Guys with this mindset are rare
They truly belong together! Wishing them a lifetime of love and joy in their beautiful union! ❤️
Thank you so much for being a good listener. The way you interact with your guests is amazing
I love the pauses to explain what was being said! Great interview! Definitely doing self reflection.
I like those pauses Paul takes in between the interviews. It helps the lessons sink in.
Okay I left the 92% and subscribed. Loved this episode ❤️
Sammme!!! How could we not!! 😅 Everyone involved was *chef's kiss* 💜
WHEW big sis Toni! This conversation is a treat!!
Taiwo made me shed a tear with that conversation about him and his Dad. It hits hard
Such a beautiful union, may the almighty continue to bless y’all❤️ this is a testimony that is giving us singles some hope out here
First time here, this was such a good interview Toni is beautiful and Taiwo very handsome beautiful couple wish them many years of happiness
I like their conflict-resolution method, and her theory about attractiveness and infidelity. 💥
One of the best interviews I have listened to in recent times 👏👏👏
Wow, big hit for me was validating that I truly was a secure woman when I started a relationship with an insecure man who in turn made me anxiously attracted. I just analyzed my last situationship with another highly insecure man who could not handle conflict otlr showing up for uncomfortable conversations to progress our relationship and he opted to blow up the bridge and dump text me. Now I am highly dismissive avoidant due to that experience. I don't believe in attachment styles. I do believe people simply bring out the best or worst in you and the goal is to find someone who will bring out the best.
Start studying about attachment styles. You’ll get very surprised bc you’ll find your psychological patterns clearly depicted. It is so eye opening
What an amazing host! The transitions, questions, interaction was chef’s kiss!
I loved this I have always admired them from a distance
This was so good to watch. That’s a solid couple right there❤
Paul is such a great interviewer! New subscriber 😊
I love them so much💗 I wish them the very best in life and their union
Wow. What a well done interview. You're an excellent interviewer. Thank you for sharing!
This was great to watch and will definitely be back to watch it again. So many simple yet though provoking principles were shared. Self-discovery and self-care are such good things. Praying their union brings forth great things! x
One of my best friends sent this to me… so amazing.
I love Toni and Taiwo, I hope their union remains strong and healthy.
What a lovely couple. Lovely mindsets.
You convinced me to subscribe to your channel. The part where you said "No pressure at all, but if you enjoy the content........" loveeettt
I learned so
much . Cried, laugh . I mean such a good watch. ❤️✨
Such a good, calm and real interview. Also totally agree with Toni on attractive people being the least 'players'.
This podcast was an absolute pleasure to listen to.
Three highly intelligent articulate people with no uhmmm's, aaarrr's, or 'likes' every few minutes.
Very thought provoking.
This episode is an absolute gem
Wow. These two are gorgeous. Simply pure from the inside out. There’s a supernatural glow throughout the entire conversation ✨
I appreciate you and love Tony's story has inspired me build block of brick on my relationship ❤ Uganda is my country.
Interesting! How did you locate a spiritual counsellor, and how can I get in touch with him most effectively?
His name is Father Obah Eze, and he is a great spiritual counselor who can bring back your ex.
he is father obah eze, he has great powers, he can help you.
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked him up now online. impressive
Wow I just looked Father Obah Eze on the net he’s very legit thanks once again ❤
Loved this conversion, being Demisexual in this dating age is tough!
This definitely my favourite podcast episodes
The narrative was smooth and so great, a lot of amazing points mentioned…
Amazing episode..
Different strategies work for different people, I love how they demonstrate their conflict resolution.❤️
Great Interview. Thank you Toni and Taiwo for being transparent and open with your relationship.
I love your interviews. They make me a better person and I know will make me better partner. Im
So glad to be a part of your subscribers 😊
I haven’t experienced my happiest moments yet 👏👏👏
im in love with this conversation and these two in particular will definitely look into them but I feel like the title doesn't do this myriad of a podcast justice
I love the way you explain after each segment of their discussion. It takes a lot of work to discover yourself to be a great partner. It's worth the time and effort to become the best person you can be.
Brilliant, honest and authentic conversation. I love these 2 together. ❤️
