One good thing about polo is that it is assembled here in mzanzi, meaning that it creates lots of jobs and work with local companies to to creat some parts like tires and I'm saying this because I'm student studying automative (artisan) and finding job is hard
The competitors houses better features[including safety features] however, at the end it sits with whether you are looking to pay for looks or safety and convenience as far as tech is concerned! One other thing, they [competitors] come with better warranty and included service plan! In my opinion the Vivo Highline is the one to be compared to the competitors since they match with engine power outputs, the other two should actually be compared with Swift or Hyundai Grand I10! I don't have anything bad against the Vivo, but the pricing nje, I don't know how to justify if it offers good value for money, keeping in mind that the service plan is excluded and that the insurance premiums will sky rocket. I am a VW Polo fan regardless, just can't justify the pricing and exclusion of certain features as standard...haai.
if you want a fun car better buy a polo, it sits well on the road, it looks good and has style, and you can customize to meet your liking. on the other hand a suzuki it is not fun enough, doesnt handle well and no street cred. yes a GL has good features and all. but i dont see the need of reverse sensors. for a polo better buy a comfortline you will be happy 55kw is enough. it is not like you will be driving from gauteng to Limpopo each en everymonth.
Eish...that optional storage package you have to pay a couple of thousands if opted for, just to include an armrest in a car when it is one before the flagship [highline], haai maarn!!! I would never buy a car without an armrest, with work having me travelling this much around the country in a standard Isuzu bakkie without an armrest, I learned the importance of having an armrest included/fitted in a car, same goes with not having fog lights included/fitted on a car, as the weather in other parts of this country will just humble you. #Just a hint to someone who never knew such extras comes in handy!
There is 55Kw lower spec and 63kw top spec or something. And we can't compare a Polo vivo to Baleno. Those who wants features must buy a Baleno once. Polo is a Polo, I have been driving a Vivo for 6 years now
we are not saying your car is not good. But the pricing point makes sense if you take the Baleno....you get decent power unlike with the 1.4 ....infact the polo vivo 1.4 competes with a suzuki swift.
@@ThembaOnWheels I would choose the Polo Vivo of course. One of the car journalists said the Starlet (Baleno) is not good at 120km/h and it doesn't lock doors

In terms of looks. The Vivo looks much better than the competitors😁
I agree👌😂😂
The vivo also feels beter on the road. Sits beter on the road and drives beter.
Have u ever seen Kia Rio?
@@janvusi1407 has been discontinued. And it competes with Polo Life

You're the only youtuber who also show the other cars to help viewers know which one to choose and to pay less
Thanks. Please refer others to my videos to learn as well.
I have a Polo Vivo Trendline. It's a good car and very light on fuel. But yes it's really down on power unfortunately
yes power and fuel efficiency are opposite things

Cars are expensive nowadays and worse they get every day

Very true. There are essential features in a car. An entry level Suzuki Baleno is fitted with an armrest
2024 with manual windows?? yho
😂😂Wait for the Suzuki review

Let me help you.
If you had R260K, which car would you buy between the Baleno 1.5 GL and the Polo Vivo 1.4 Trendline?

@@ThembaOnWheels I chose the 1.4 confortline black style package, exactly on your video; I didn’t even wanna look at the starlet or balerno
Congratulations,
Enjoy your rides
Yeah cars nowadays are becoming very expensive serious yoh
True, the preowned car market soon to make sense to most people
