Yes, it’sthat time of year, Bolt Action 3rd Edition release and Warlord games open day and the Ministry of Miniatures go on a road trip!
With an invitation to attend Michael, Helena, Stewart and I travelled up to Nottingham from Sussex to visit Warlord Games HQ on their annual open day.
This was a great opportunity to meet the team, catch up with the crew and see friends and acquaintances from the hobby.
This short video will give you a glimpse of what to expect when visiting the open day.

Wish they had a store in the US I would love to buy stuff but 25 dollar shipping on a 9.95 or 25 dollars box just not worth it hope things change for example Gen Anthony Nuts Macffic is 9.95 but 20 sipping just not doing it
Isn’t there a local distributor? I know Warlord Games have a whole network in the States.

Yes but select items you can't get atleast not all things. my group get together sometimes and we do a bulk purchase which is helps however rare item are not always available even Amazon don't have bolt action full line love warlord just would hope they sipping thing cost could be lowered for smaller purchase I bought the buffalo soldiers set for 35 and paid almost 60
@@joehendrson3815 I can understand your frustration, shipping costs would be annoying, especially at that rate. Great idea getting together to put orders in to reduce the postage costs 👍🏻

Wait warlord games has a local distrubuter in the U.S do you know where it is?
Not sure if they are local, but they do have a US Warlord Games, not being part of the company I don’t know what the details are… I thought they had a distribution through the US side!? 🤷🏻♂️

Wow. Lots of information in there. Love the focus on Konflikt 47!
Funny that I will get an updated Japanese army list for Konflikt earlier than for bolt action. (The one in the bolt action 3rd edition rulebook is very sterile and flavourless with generic "medium howitzer" instead of a proper name and all tanks of the same armour value thrown into a single army list entry)
I know, the Armies of… will be desperately needed to add the correct units and name in each theatre.
Interestingly, we are planning on doing a small campaign for K47 to get our armies up in preparation for the new rules 😉🤞🏻👍🏻

It was great, apart from my phone/camera breaking!
The figures in question might be Hungarians, the label
Was for British vehicles behind, the troops seemed to be linked to the Hungarians next to them. Lots of new stuff in the cabinet!

Thanks, they are both great vehicles and troops… I now need to fit them into Bolt Action 3rd Edition games

Indeed, they seem to be doing well and there is a lot of hype for their new releases.
@@theministryofminiatures They run a very successful business, though I do have issues with their 28mm Ancient range of minis due to different sizes of figurres
I think there is scale creep in a fair few of their figures, GWS did the same.
If you look at earlier stuff and current they are not the same size!
22:28 - what is the 'Field Manual' - or are details on that light at the moment?
There are plans for a new player book and maybe starter set, very much back to basics around collecting, building, painting and playing the basics of Bolt action v3.

I’m all in, just waiting for my book to arrive. Have never played bolt action so no old stuff clogging my head. My only problem is that I honestly, do not like the Warlord miniatures. Tanks and other hardware ok, but dang it,I just can’t get with their chunky, comic style infantry. Looking seriously at AB miniatures. And keep my tanks for Actung Panzer exclusively.

Hi, mainly because it was really busy and to get that low would’ve been a trip hazard. I had to wait for there to be fewer people in front of me so that I could get the shots I did.
