Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this!
Thank you
Omg!!!!!!!! You've made my switching SOOOOOO MUCH EASIER! Thank you!
I've recently committed to learning key of D songs and it took about a day and a half after I settled on how to play the D chord. I found the only smooth way I could do it was the way you showed.
Absolute genius
Omg this just made my life so much easier playing this chord progression thank you!
Thank you! This helped me so much!
thanks so much. I can actually play D now :D
this is magic!
Thanks, this makes easier to play D chord now.
Thanks a lot you made it much easier and i tried it and prefer this was and happy I saw your vedio
Sheesh. I’m a real beginner and have fat fingers. I have tried the old D ways and have purposefully stayed away from any song with a D chord. I could never get a nice sound from each string. Of course I’m a beginner and not very good. First strum with the “new and easy” D chord and it sounded terrific. This is definitely a fat finger friendly chord. Thanks!
Thank You Andrew!!!! I have been working on this frustrating D cord for a couple days...grrr. Your style has made all the difference
🎼Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this with us! God bless you.
I'm a large guy learning a small soprano and was struggling with the D big time. In 3 mins you changed that. Cheers.
you are an angel thanks! I'm transitioning from C-D-G this makes that WAY easier, I can even leave my pointer finger in the same place going from D-G :)
You save my D chord and my fingers! Thank you!!!
Amazing. Thank you for that!
Thank you for information in how to do this D chord easier
Thank you so much! I have been struggling with this for so long
You the man! can't believed how helpful that was
Omggg now I can go from D-A soooo easily

for D, sometimes I use thumb finger, over top side :)
THIS is what I was looking for!!! Thanks so much.
Thank Youuuu!!This helped me a lot

okay I love you, you saved my life. thank you so much
What haven't I thought of this? This is amazing! Thank you very much! It also makes transitioning from A chord, Fsharp minor to D much more seamlessly! You're a genius! Thanks
I suppose I have to move away from C, F and G chords sometime! I'm just getting a tin whistle, and the only ones the supplier has are in D. Plan is to record the rhythm on the uke and then play over with the whistle, so key of D here we come. But at least with this tutorial I can "sort of" play a D chord already.
Just want to join th chorus of thank yous. This method is way easier! Thank you!
You are amazing I've been having a hard time but this made me do it in less than a minute thank you
Yes!! So much easier!!! Thanks!!!
Thank you! Simple yet effective trick!

I still can't do it 😂😂😂 My fingers are about to break lol
I can relate
That's how I do it!
Oh, thank you so much! I was beginning to despair.
very nice! thank you.
fancy not working that out by myself. I don't have a problem but some students will be relieved.
Woooowwwwwww
I’ve been playing for years and I could very easily play D chords properly but I still just bar it with my thumb cuz I’m too lazy to get in that habit
Thank you, when I play it this way it sounds better , but do you think this it will be good in the long run ?
Yes, absolutely, it is the most efficient way to play the chord (s). When things are done in the the most efficient way - left hand, or right hand - they will sound better.
MY FINGER IS A WIDE AS HE WHOLE TREAT. Idk the English spelling sorry if I’m wrong
Thanks Man! It is very helpful for me!
ugh the e string always makes a horrible buzz whenever I do the d and g chord
Make sure you're using the tips of your fingers to make the chord, and be sure your fingers are not touching any adjacent strings.
have you got an easier E or Em.
Yes see my other videos - you'll find both
I can't see all the fingers
Am i dead cause i think i encountered God himself as a uke teacher
this actually came naturally to me just here to check if this actually existed
no chance... the very top of my finger spans from fret to fret
Switching from D to G has never been easier
