The cut out is so you can still use a piston barrel (which has a different gas block) but still gives you some extra rail space as you mentioned. Otherwise you have to use the 9.25” uppers such as the MLC and CQB.
Hey guys i have a question. I consider to buy an lmt. What is the barrel life of lmt rifles 556? how many rounds can i fire before i have to change the barrel? Can anybody help?
The shovelnose is perfection with a Riflespeed gas block on 16" mid length barrel. Looks awesome, and protects the adjustment wheel on the gas block.
Thank you
Rooftop are solid people. Truly a Mom n Pop seller and the Ramen is 👍😉 The oldschool "poor man's" Shovelnose mod is using a early Gen Magpul AFG.

How does the 20" run? Is it softer than the 16" middy?
Bit softer, mostly use for higher velocity for distance, but nothing really a 16 cant achieve with proper ammo and application
How about the 20 in accuracy? Is there any noticeable difference in group size?

I havent shot one out yet, but generally can expect 10k up to 20k on average for chrome lined, and bit less than that for SS
@@shaunstayfree5551 thanks a lot 👍
