@@Skiddyskates Thank you)
Right when I’m so close to landing em he drops this, thanks my guy 🙏🏼
Niiice! I hope you get them soon. It’s a hard trick to understand for sure
Broo me too! Hope youll land it soon!!
The lazy tre is so sick! I'm def working on mastering that!
Brian has em so good
Yo didn't expect to see you here lmao
Damn, i watched this vid like 2 years ago when i was struggling learning it. Looking at it again makes me realize that i kinda unlearned pop shuvits, but my tres are on lock now. Thx for your vids and the reminder to keep practising the basics too (getting a letter on pop shuvit hurts the soul)
Perfect, beautiful tutorial, loved the video!!!
Dude how have I not seen your channel b4 sick content man 🖤 so professionally done
Been waiting for months after your varial heel helped me out so much. You the best
🙌 I'm glad to help. Thanks for watching my videos!
thanks man , super clear on trick break down explanation, working on my front foot catch, tre flip is one of the finest looking tricks when landed clean effortless
Thanks for your support! The front foot catch will come the more you do them. It took a lot of practice for me but it’s worth it to get the control.
Thank you!! I now land heel flips so much easier and I’m excited to do tre’s. Thank you thank you.
That is awesome! Heelflips are a lot of fun. I really appreciate the support.
Perfect, beautiful tutorial, loved the video!!! 🔥🤘💪
I'm glad you liked it. I hope it helps you! Thanks for the support.
Somehow, what helped me the most at my last session to come really close to land my first rolling 360flip (is was way too exhausted to get it I think) was to place the backfoot in the right position, but setting it up flat on the tail.
That way there is much more room for the desired motion of the foot to accomplish the scoop with maximum power but much less effort from the rest of my leg.
Just a tiny tip for others who, like me, practice them for over a year now. 😅
Thanks for the tutorial. Love your videos!
I like this tip. I considered talking about it actually but I did not want to make it confusing for people trying for the first time. Thanks for the support 🤝
@@Owjdnskoakansbskk would love to know if it helped! Come back with an update!
I’m gonna try this in my next session, I have it as he says in the video and scoop towards the nose instead of back but sometimes the board doesn’t flip all the way in any direction
JESUS CHRSIT LOVES YOU SO MUCH
Yep. This is exactly how Tom Penny does his. His foot is completely flat until it comes time to scoop and definitely feels alot easier than scooping as hard as you can.
Thank u G, workin crazy
the best one , i am a treflip guy , i've shown this tutorial to a friend , and he learned it so quick .
Nice video man. Finially someone who actually explains shit. Love that u get into the wieght distribution and all the other little details.

RUclips showed me your channel and bro... I LOVE IT!! With you we will learn a lot! Thank you for your time and patience in making these videos! Blessings from Mexico!👍👍😊😊
thanks a lot. i tired out of fun a 360 flip last weekend, even trough my kickflips arent consistant and my shuvis and popshuvs are quite good. i did took an L because tried to catch the board with my backfoot and it slammed right in my right leg. I had one try were i got super close landed with both feet and the board was kicking me of behind itself. next time i try to catch it with the front foot.
i had experenced skaters around me who can easly do 360 flips but they couldnt gave me any advices because my technic up to the point where i need to land it is super good and the flip is looking super sharp.
Yes a history on treflips would be so dope!
🤝

Awesome
❤
thanks man needed this
#firstfan
You are the OG for sure!
I can attest to rolling and injuring your foot when catching with back foot. Last August I was doing Tres at the skatepark down a little 2 foot or so quarter and caught it with my back foot first and it cause my front foot to roll and take the entire impact. I tore my tendon and was out for over 6 months. What sucked worst was it was a week before my yearly Panama City Beach vacation. I wasn't able to do much skim or boogie boarding due to it, though I tried anyway lol. I've rolled my back foot so many times I can take an impact on it and it be completely fine but that was my first front foot, or left foot roll, and I made up for lost time lol.
I could do tres already but I still love watching these videos ❤️
It is a fun trick for sure.
Such a good teacher
😮❤
So many good tres 😍
🙌 you filmed em so well
The tutorial we've all been waiting for! That And maybe inward heels, but 3 flips look so clean it's hard not to do them first.
Inward heel ❤️
@@Skiddyskates when I treflip I do the full 360 when I land on it I toe drag if you can help me
@@dxrkjackson525 with your front foot or back foot?
@@Skiddyskates both
I'm just realizing "tre" is short for 360 😆
i would love to see some history videos that would be sick man i love your channel

Let’s see that full tre flip history video!
👀👀
Thanks for posting! I know you must have had a lot of requests.
I’m glad it’s already helping people. I did have a ton for this one haha
Do you think you can do tutorials on grinds and slides? (50 50s/5-0s/etc) Love your vids btw!
Oh yea! I have been wanting to do that for a while.
I’ve been skating for 5 month and I can do tre flip but this video make my tre flip even better and I land bold all the time
Tre flip after only 5 months is extremely impressive!
Hell yes u should make a history of tripflips
🙌 I will work on it!
I'm brazilian and even understanding only 70% that you say, this is the best tre flip tutorial video I've ever seen it. also, I had no idea that the guy from alvin and the chipmunks was a pro skateboarder hahahaha
🙌🙌 thanks for the kind words! I’ll have to get some Portuguese subtitles on the video.
Hey I’ve been a fan of your channel for a while, and I also happen to be a producer, what is the sample you use for your intro? I’d like to maybe remix it and send it back to you
Best tre on the east coast
Should i move my foot to kickflip position if mine is over the full board? I learned from a mike mo video to have my full foot on the board for kickflips. ive been working on tres with your foot position and ive gotten it a couple times but im far from being able to claim them.
That part made pop lol....."you're gnna be stoked on you're first 360 flip, but before you go out and attempt El Toro...." hahhahaha
😆😅
I think that’s pickneyville park’s pavilion, I’ve skated there too many times not to know
Great videos! But... what Adidas shoes are these :)?
Thanks man, now i landed my first tre flipppp
🔥🔥 congrats!
Can we get a tutorial on Laser Flips? I love the way you make these videos and i would like one for Laser Flips
That sounds fun
I seeee you at settles so much :D one of the twins at the competition 😁 Your trick tips are amazing
Settles! You are both so good. Every time I see you skate you get better and better. I love it!
@@Skiddyskates I landed my first few Heelflips! I’m starting to commit more hurray :D a 3 hour session and a bunch of anger but I did it! Although I’m landing a lot more on the nose :C it’s not bolts but I’m so happy
@@Peppapig-nm7ob congrats! They are a lot of fun. If you try them while going faster(if you think you are ready) you probably won’t land on the nose.
@@Skiddyskates I learned them moving slowly because stationary is a lot harder for me but today it rained and i went to the back yard little concrete area and now they’re becoming more consistent :D
After watching this video several times and having about a dozen 1-3 hour skate sessions where I spend the majority of the time working on this trick (easily a couple thousand attempts overall), I've managed to land on the board twice but it immediately shot me out on my ass (landed too far forward) and had a bunch of primo and very close attempts. I'm so close that it is consuming my thoughts endlessly. The last session bunged my back up pretty bad but hoping to get this thing soon. Been skating on/off for 24 years and before I get too old I really want to capture one clean stomp of this trick on film to look back on. I'll be back to say thanks when that day comes.
They say he is still working on that trick to this day
I admire your dedication! I'm sure you will get it. Make sure you get rest in between your practice sessions. You might be surprised how much sleep helps you process your motor functions. Did you happen to land since this comment?
Idk if you’ll see this but did you land it? I really hope so
After dozens of sessions spanning 18+ months focusing on this trick (and taking time to improve my fundamentals), I’ve gotten to the point where I’m either landing super sketchy/primo or landing too far forward and having the board shoot out. I’m taking intense slams that I have to shake off in order to gain the confidence to commit again but I’m definitely getting very close to landing this trick and then I’ll work on getting it consistent. This video is incredibly helpful and I come back to it every couple months with more insight after filming myself in 120fps and reviewing the footage to see what I’m doing right and wrong. Still planning to come back to post the link when I stomp one clean!!!
most recent progress for anyone interested (would love tips if you see flaws in my technique!) ruclips.net/video/vL24QY3LHdI/видео.html
Hey does anyone have tips on getting the back foot on?
I can land tres but jot very consistent. I’m finding when I try to jump up and get my back foot on it throws off my whole timing...
This trick took me years to land and once I landed my first and got past my fear I don’t understand how it took me so long to stomp it took for me and years of a personal battle that no one else could see or understand
7:45 damn 🔥
The body Varial?
Can you do a how to Ollie video?
Bro, you are something else, thank your for being detailed ! I already have my 3flips on lock, but I’m still figuring out how to make them look “stanky leg” like if that makes sense 😂😂😂 any suggestions?
Thanks for your support! It’s really all about activating your back ankle. It’s weird because you are scooping your ankle in while pulling your leg back. Pretty awkward. Try to straighten your back leg too as you are scooping instead of using it to scoop. It’s not easy but keep at it and you will get it. 🤝
Skidish Skateboarding dudeeeeeeeeeeeee, I’ve been looking for such insight on the scooping motion, looking the ankle being “separated from the leg” makes a lot of sense, I’ve to tell you I tried one today and it did work!!!! Second fucking try! I’m beyond happy 😫 now it’s all about getting more comfortable with the “awkwardness” of the ankle thing while the leg is going backwards idk, thank you man, really ahahaha I’m not overreacting 😂 I’ve dreamed about this trick for the past 9 years 🤘🏼🤘🏼🥷🏿🥷🏿
@@looseygoosey23 that’s amazing! I’m glad you got it now 🙌
Here's a video idea.. doing tricks stationary vs doing tricks riding differences and what not 👍
Would doing frontside shoves make doing a tre easier (I catch it with my front foot) or would it help more to practice regular shoves
Frontside shove it’s are so fun. I think that you should practice normal shove its though. It feels really similar to the Treflip. 👍
props for putting dylans tre on 1:17
No doubt. It's always an honor to watch him skate.
So, after practicing treflips for over a year I landed 3 almost in a row, one or two a few days later. 2 things are still happening:
1. I still land in front of the board most of the time.
2. And that one really bothers me, I still open my shoulders after the scoop, which leads to a really sketchy landing, if I land it.
For kickflips I intentionally stretch out my arms like a bird to stay straight over the board, but when I try this for treflips I won't get the full board rotation for some reason. It's like I need the little extra power from winding up my shoulders a bit to get the treflip motion, could that be?
ollie tutorial plssss! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
On the way!
I can do 360 shovit but the kicklfip part of this trick only works partially for me. I often land on the skateboard’s bottom side or worst primo.
Which part if this trick would be responsible for the kickflip bit? Is it the scoop or pop or both?
Now that you dropped this video, I feel like might have a fighting chance at landing it lol
Let me know when you get it
@@Skiddyskates I will for sure! I’ll try to get my first one on video as well. It might take a bit to get it, but I will get it!
