I like the idea of basics tutorials. A larger stick cam, centered on the bottom, would make it easier to follow. Also a slo mo of a particular move, to study and explain it, could be cut into the footage. Looking forward to more of these tuts. Cheers
@@MattyfleischFPV Uhh, I watched this video specifically because I struggle a bit with getting tight corners. Hoped I'd get some tips to improve. I didn't.
Learning to do that controlled swerve back and forth when travelling between obstacles helped me a bunch. It's almost like a bob and weave in boxing. I'm not sure if they have a name for it in FPV, but as a new pilot I find it really useful. It's a nice way to constantly stay in tune with what the Quad is doing. It's also a great way to stay relaxed and keep your hands in check when the adrenaline kicks in.
Matty, thanks for this video. I agree with rcgarcelon that it would help if you slowed this video WAY DOWN, even to freezing frames to explain the movement and positioning of your sticks in relation to the flight of the drone. Otherwise, as a viewer, I have a difficult time understanding this relationship. Otherwise, thx for a great video.
Damm you can fly you had me tensing up almost the whole time crazy. I am just getting into fpv and flown dji but only fpv in a sim and it is hard. I need mad practice. Thanks for the videos Godspeed
How do you relate the roll to the throttle punch? I always pick up a ton of altitude unintentionally when trying to get the first turn in the Haybales on Liftoff
Hi I love the video and I am also thinking of making this types of video's as i am still a baby in the hooby of FPV I got 2 drones one in a kit the cetus pro and the other a Meteor75 pro I love them both but would love to show people here in canada why this hobby is so much fun.
@@MattyfleischFPV You may have FPV skills, but explaining or teaching people is not your wheelhouse. Here’s a simple test: give a decent pilot who can fly a quad this video and find out what skills they picked up, or techniques or drills they learned to improve.

I feel like you haven't really explained this at all. Just about every trick or move on the planet requires roll, pitch, throttle and yaw...
Make a better video!

Don't be a dick. Just go away.
So you blame Matty? Lol. Go get some sim time.
What a silly response to valid criticism. This shouldn't be called a how to video.

I Need more break down
Dude just your basic flying around looks so smooth! The way you catch your landings 👌. I feel like I just watched a skate trick tip clip.
Really nice flying dude inspired me to go find a good spot and rip tomorrow

Great suggestion!
Wow just found you and really visually enjoyed your flow state… immediately subscribed! Keep it up. Gonna practice to be just as good
How do you hover so well
Lots of practice!
Matty, nice flying, can your
Break down a zig zag. I crash 💥 every time. I can’t figure it out.
Fire up the sim and practice for a few hours 💪
Nice flow & momentum. What camera angle tilt your flying, sir?

Just keep on it in the sim, you’ll see if you stick to it that you’ll get really good if you’re focused 💪
Thanks again and you even commented most do not f-em@@MattyfleischFPV
@@MattyfleischFPV any tips for practice on sim? how to avoid learning bad practices?

Great flying 🙌🏽
Thanks, I really enjoyed the video!
Mr. what do I think, I think U fly like a dream maHn (& I look soo forward 2 try it myself), topNice
OOOOOkAY! thats how you do it. So informative!
Some rates will be helpful too!
1.99 .64 .21 curve generally but I’ll bump up and down 1.99-2.05 to make for cleaner flips and rolls. Work it backwards to help clean things up 🤓
I'm liking the quality of the DJI Action 2 a lot especially at the second location with super harsh lighting
What are your rates and 4s or 6s batts?
thx
So… how do you corner? I’m lost in the sauce
Nice Video! I gotta go fly now
One word.. PRO 😂😂 damn ur good bro
Thank you

Do it up!
Solved: Increase your cam angle and use roll to turn.
I think this was really great for me I am a brand new pilot and this was just perfect for me! Thank you ! BTW I love your style of flying ;)
Thank you for the kind words - good luck on your journey in FPV and welcome to the hobby 🙌😎
Alotabit I use that word a lot 😂🤣
I like it
You showed off and didn’t explained much. Wish I could fly like you though
A stick overlay would help to explain what you don't.🙄✈️
I guess you don’t see the actual sticks in the video 🙄
You explained nothing
I can’t help those that aren’t listening 👂
I listened and did not hear you explain anything, it was all just you showing off. @@MattyfleischFPV
