Shout-out to my mom, who would record Saturday morning cartoons (on VHS) for me, because they would come on at like 3 AM due to the 4-hour time difference in Alaska (back before the days of streaming and time schedule constraints)
Oh yes shout out to your mom for that! That’s awesome.
you got a great mom
That’s a soldier! Shout out to your momma!
Another problem with the cartoon's portrayal of Marty was in the episode "Roman Holiday" when while visiting Rome, Marty accepts a race against Biff's Roman ancestor Bifficus after he calls Marty a chicken. This contradicts the huge lesson about self-control that Marty had learned from his showdown with Mad Dog Tannen in the third film.
Very good point.
This show was really good after watching the movies it really made me want to see more of Doc and Marty!!
The Dumb and Dumber cartoon is something I have no recollection of, and I'm 41.
Being born in 2010, I’m happy that those cartoons were actually a part of my life, especially when I’d spend the night at my Nina’s house. Never got the Back to the future one though.
I love the animated series, I got up every Saturday morning to watch it.
Good times 😎🍿
If Universal Studios bring back the ride, the ride needs to change the live action footage from the ride with the back to the future cartoon art style.
Bob Gale has also written comic books, in addition to some Back To The Future comic mini-series; he has written the two story arcs bookending the Batman: No Man's Land crossover event, "No Law and a New Order" and "Endgame".
It’s interesting that he’s gotten into video games, movies, and comic books.
think about it like this rick and morty makes sense were back to the future makes paradoxes so being able to teleport is more possible than time travel
I wish we had more or new back to the future content! Today
Wow! I loved this show when I was a kid! I have it on DVD right now and for some reason I never saw all of the episodes. Good thing I can watch it right now!;)
It’s nice to have all the episodes for a rainy day. I have the dvd collection of both seasons as well.
Great job as always Scotty!
I need to go back and rewatch these films now. 😁
Can't go wrong with Back to the Future. But what do I know, I'm obsessed with it. Thanks Patreck!
Great job! I just watched the animated series for the first time for a podcast. Saved this until I was finished. Well worth it.
Hey thank you for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it
Did companies just pump out animated shows based off popular IP just like they did with video games in the early 2000s? Wow.
I also got the complete series DVD collection and watched it it’s a great more kid friendly addition to the franchise and it’s cool they got back some of the original cast
Bob Gale also worked on Used Cars with Zemeckis, it was their first movie. I LOVED Mr. Wizard, Nickelodeon would air it all the way into the 90s.
Yeah, I was talking about Post-Back to the Future 3 in terms of Gales film and tv Writing career. Nice, I didn’t know that Nickelodeon aired Watch Mr. Wizard in the 90’s. That was a pretty influential show it turns out.
@@ScottyDunn Ahh, post BTTF! Yeah I agree, more Bob please. Yeah, it turned into Mr. Wizards World with new episodes til 1989, and reruns for a few years after! Great show to introduce kids to science. I'll never forget an episode where he showed the difference between helium and hydrogen by bursting balloons with fire: Pop, Pop, Pop, FWOOOOSH!
Thats awesome! We need more shows like that these days.
Wow! that was a lot of cool cartoons!!
Absolutely!
BOBBY'S WOOORLD!!!
So, Vernes, how would you like to join MY family for dinner?
And Mighty Ducks The Animated Series!
Takes me back!
Where did you get all the info for this?
back to the futuregame
Gonna cover that sometime down the line.
I'm shocked you didn't mention Bob Gale and Bobby Z's script they wrote for Kolchak!!!
I was covering Bob Gale scripts written after BTTF 3.
The cartoon series was a spin off from the last movie.
What about Robert Zemeckis? Didn't he get involved?
I really like Interstate 60, but a lot of people seem to hate it.
I haven’t seen it yet. Is there a time travel element?
@@ScottyDunn Not really. There is an element of alternate universes though.
Nice. I’ve been meaning to watch it for some time now.
@@ScottyDunn I think it's pretty enjoyable. I think it's on tubi. I tracked down the DVD years ago, that was pretty difficult to find.
The time machine in the movies always had the ability to travel to different locations.
In the movies, it could only travel to a different time period in the exact same geographical spot. Unless you count traveling back in time and then driving to a new spot after that…
false, re watch the first movie. Doc mentions the birth of Christ and signing of the declaration of independence neither of which took place in Hill valley.@@ScottyDunn
No. He put in the date of the birth of Christ and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Not the coordinates of the location. Go look.
44 now pushing 45 but i did watch cartoons back in 1991 1992. I was between 12 and 13 years old!
Omegasussy series.
Thought you cooked with that one
