UPDATE: I continued to play this game after this recording. For those wondering about the difficulty, there are many mutators you can toggle on to increase both the difficulty of the game and the score you obtain. These mutators seem to be very challenging when combined together. Elite enemies, not being able to build walls, having significantly less gold to work with, etc. There also seems to be some sort of endless trial mode that you can play when you beat the campaign.
