The best kenkey tutorial on RUclips award goes to.... Original Mama Betty ta da! 🎊 🎊 Was I Surprise 🤔 no not all. I have come to the realization that every food tutorial you publish will come with a twist. I just said "wowwwww" this is something beyond my imagination who would have thought about it then again I remind myself this woman is very creative. Attention food bloggers on RUclips if you try this recipe please acknowledge you saw it here on my mummy's channel first. I can safely say this is by far the best creative dish you have done. I enjoyed every bit of it. 😅 Not only are you a good teacher but a prefect role model for me. You have the patience to sit and do a step by step tutorial to show our beautiful culture to the rest of the world and especially the African youth. Honestly, you do take your time to teach and explain what you doing and that's what I love about you. For instance, how you dress when you are cooking the banku. No body talks about that on RUclips thank you for teaching us. It truly shows you enjoy what you doing and I'm so proud and happy that all your hard work is paying off. Take a bow 🙇 because you know I'll be trying this magic kenkey recipe soon. 😁 Excellent job. The video was very informative and interesting your smile is always contagious. Once again thanks for sharing this beautiful recipe with us. Stay bless and I can't wait to see you light the stove with butter 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
I’m highly impressed with how you give full details,,I’ve watched a lot of videos but this is my favorite..keep it up..Haven’t regretted following you Aunty Betty

Anti Betty, you are the best, a generation saver, because generation upon generation will learn from your videos, you are such an amazing figure, a role models, any woman who take your smiles, style and ways you communicates will always win the heart of their husband. You are very creative, talented and a great cook. Congratulations!!! Unfortunately, when l so my kenkey and hit the ground it can brake the ground, so hard, so l stop making kenkey 10years ago. Now, with Mama Betty's recipe, l can win an award for my kenkey. On my way to the market to buy my corn dough and the rest .
This is my first video and I have subscribed. My mom is Jamaican and she use to make this back in my country(The Grand Bahamas),when I was a little girl, but without the meat. I'm glad to find your channel, I'm learning to cook Ghanaian dishes for my Ghanaian husband. This helps.
How can one get it wrong with this fantastic and understandable tutorial video? You are simply the best original mama Betty. What a wonderful way to teach. All your recipes and teachings are easy to follow. I always come here for tips/apo. God bless you. Happy New year 🎉 ✨ 💛
New Year's traditional dinner at my home is Kenkey, fish and assorted seafood, with home fried sauces and peppers of all sorts. I can make my own Dokunu this year, thanks to you! Jah Bless!!!
Thanks very much for showing us the preparation of Ga Komi. I like the surprise. I want to suggest that you use a plain cloth or gray baft instead of rubber to cover the kenkey (Komi).
This the first time am watching ur program and I like the way u use the local language to explain things. God bless you for that and I going to try the kenkye at home, we are tried of eating outside kenkye
Mama Betty, you got it going on! Check out that background, so cool. You are a beautiful lady. Thanks for the tube, without these we would not have a clue as to how the fam is doing in the Mother Land.
What an inspirational cook you are, Mama Betty, Original. My wife and I love you to bits! I love tzee and because of you I’m going to give it a big go after the lock down! Best wishes to you and Aunt Stella for showing us how to put deɛ ɛhuo together!👍🏾👍🏾
Love you too, I Really enjoy the show and would like to try it after this lockdown. My big problem is, I am in abroad and don't have the banku dade or the metal u used to steer the mole or corndough. Thanks

Bonjour Je suis fière de vous. Vous présentez très bien nos recette africaine de cuisine. Et vous êtes si simple , naturelle et très souriante . Demeurrez humble. May God bless you. Je abonne😊
Very good mixing African and European cuisine. We are born abroad so we are introduced to it early. I would like to eat that with Jamaican chicken stew, curry goat or Dora water.
Wow soo simple .God bless you mom for the receipy .Please is it adviseable to add cassava dough? And can one make the kenkey many and store in refrigerator without putting the meatballs? Thanks
Oh-oh-oh Auntie Betty, I was in Ghana, came back to England this morning, literally finished trying this recipe, and as always absolutely amazing, greetings from the motherland!!!!!!
Love you speaking your language, can't understand a word, but love it😊😊😊 is this a grated vegetable? You make me proud to partake in my people's tradition. Is corn dough the same as cornmeal? And how is it processed? , can you make it with coconut milk?
Mama Betty you are very funny woman l just started watching you on U-tubes videos and had subscribed to your channel. I will like to know a little bit about you can you make a video about you where you come from in Ghana your husband and children and over all your favorite Ghanaian food ? Thank you hope l will get to talk with you soon stay bless. Naomi USA.
I'm unfamiliar with Ghanaian food can you describe the taste and how do you ferment dough? What kind of flour is it? Corn? Wheat? I thought it would be baked in fire not boiled wow! But what if you baked it? Would it be called something else then? I'm from Michigan, USA.
Thank you dear. Please, which kind of corn mill to use?? In here, we accra kenkey corn mill, india head corn mill which i used a lot, so which one is the best and can you add cassava dough when making kenkey? Thanks
Sweet Heart, I am a Gha lady, and I know how to cook Kɔmi aka Otim very well. My advice is, please don't use plastic / polythene or foil in cooking or on hot 🔥 food as when plastic or foil are exposed to high heat, it can leak toxic chemicals into the food. You can cook Kɔmi in a sauce pan with a tight fitting lid without the need of any plastic. If you need to cover with anything extra, please use a tea towel, aka kitchen napkin. I like your ☺ , you are beautiful. 😘 🌹
where did the word kenkey come from because the last time I checked the Ga call it komi or otim and the Fantis call it dokono. so where did the word kenkey come from
