Not at all, we open and close the cupboards all the time with these on and they've never fallen off.

Yeah, mine fell when the magnet that was stuck to the cabinet came off bcus of the glue wasn't strong enough so I applied Gorilla glue to hold it in place. Another time I pulled the light down trying to plug the recharging cord in and both times I aggravatingly knocked one of the inside magnets out of place and had to take the whole thing apart, reglue the inside magnet then figure out how to put the light back together again. Fun times🙄😡😭
