Thanks for the review video. I've been looking for quite a while for something that is simple and easy to install and use under our cabinets. My wife constantly comments every time I get a new smart home item that she has to install yet another app on her phone. I agree that the motion sensor would be nice to turn on when you walk by the counter instead of having to touch or wave your hand by the sensor.

Hi did you have enough daisy chain wires to go over the microwave? If so, how many wires did you have to connect?
My kitchen cabinets are divided into 3 zones due to the window and exit to dining area. Any suggestions for under cabinet lights? Thanks

Do you like this better than the led strip ligjts with color??
Had my electrician install. However. Some bars one shade and others another. They aren’t the same. Even when select diff shade of white. Two go one color and third goes on another. How do we fix this? Also have a wall inbetween so need to do another set on its own plug. Can I sync them all?
How did you connect the lights over the OTR microwave?

Hi, great vid.. Can you just turn on/off as needed and not worry about the motion sensor?
I found that the camera of govee immersion have a to hight ISO , so some people used a phone Nd filter, that fit perfectly with the camera for a better color accuracy.
Can you test it ? And what is the best Nd filter on Amazon?

Great video, but I think I'll stick with my Govee RGBIC strips under my cabinets with the diffuser channels.
Ah, Govee strips! What is the model number? And are they RGBIC or RGBICWW? Big difference for the best natural representation. The biggest draw for the B&D bars are the incredible lm and ease of set up. RGBIC light strips generally are on the lower end for lumens, which is why the spec is rarely advertised.
@@MrTekSuggest I simply got the H6143, the ones where I can control via Alexa. Yea they're definitely not as easy to setup B&D, since I had to cut my RGBIC and do some soldering to route wires, but I love the results and they were plentiful bright. If interested I can send you a picture.

Hey Mr. Tek! Loving the videos as usual. Would love to see if you could give us a govee home app guide. I just installed a bunch of govee products in my house and want to get them setup with Google home but I'm having a hard time doing anything other than turning them on or off.
I also can't figure out how to get these devices grouped together, as the govee smarts portion just loads endlessly. I'm thinking maybe that will help me with the Google home scenes portion.

Hey man appreciate it! It would be some time before I could get to a dedicated tutorial for something like that. What specifically are you trying to achieve? I can tell you off the bat that having scenes swap for multiple devices simultaneously is an area that the app still need work to support. How did you daisy chain across the stove???
I used a separate power source for each set of light on either side of the stove. However, you can also daisy chain the lights using the provided cable splitter and adhesive clips.
You can also buy the 108" cable (its like $12) and bring the cable ends down from top of each of the sides of the cabinets where there is always a gap
In addition to the separate power source did you also need a separate controller to span the microwave in order to avoid going up and through the cabinets?
ok but i got a light bar off temu for $4 and it works great with motion detection... those prices are insane and not worth it.
Any similar ones that would work with Google Home

Exactly total ripoff. Taking advantage of people not familiar to creating their own setup. I get the convenience but that markup is absolutely ridiculous.
