We stayed there in 2015 when it was named An Lam Villas . The service was impeccable & second to none .It is the only non Western managed resort in Viet Nam that had customer service up to scratch the rest are mediocre or hopeless at best . We heard the standard was somewhat reduced when L'Alya took over the management . We are keen to go back to the next door resort Six Senses
L’alya was the most impressed I’ve been at a resort in quite a while. Simply because it’s so much cheaper than An Lam and SS I expected much less than I got. The villa is still my favorite villa in SE Asia. Was surprised to know it’s owned by Sovico (which would have made me expect a lower experience…). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

100% L’alya. I had an experience bad enough at An Lam that I left 3 hours after arriving and went back to L’alya for another night (where I was the night prior). I was very new with RUclips back then and decided I would rather just not make a video at all. Of the 80 or so hotels I’ve reviewed, L’alya is one of only two that I’m sending my family to next year. That’s the highest praise I can give. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

However one thing that L’alya has that I like is the public pool (I believe An Lam doesnt have). Thanks again for taking time to reply. Oh yeah? How do u pronounce this resort?
@brunnsdog96 ah my bad- need to put my glasses on haha. I had zero issues with bugs here but I’m used to the climate and area so I wouldn’t notice normal flies and such.

Were the bugs bad? Was the pool usable all day with the bugs?
