once i did a road trip from montreal to vancouver, 7 days and this reminded me of those days, and i wish i knew these places earlier. wonderful experience. thanks for the video
Pretty amazing nature you found on your road trip here. Thanks for showing all those nice places, that I might not visit during my lifetime. The world is just too big for a single person. Big advantage of the internet :) Thanks for you being part of it.
Loved watching this today. Loved that you included my brother so much in painting the mural at Marathon. A lifetime memory for Doug. I spent time in most areas of this video excepting Weyburn. Your dialogue, the scripting, video and photography are absolutely amazing. Love the warm music and the humour of your friends. I plan to share this with a small group of online friends from the EU countries who are planning trips/moves to Canada. What an invitation you have given them!
Hi Joe, Painting with Doug was so wonderful. He's such a great person, a good soul! And we're so happy you enjoyed the video! Yes, please share away to anyone you think may enjoy it and get useful information from it. That is our hope and goal. Sending our best, -Cora & Jose
Thank you for speaking so positively about Manitoba and Winnipeg. We are often forgotten. I just discovered your page and I'm excited to watch your journey!
Oh hurray! If you're starting with this video, you have SO MANY adventures ahead of you! Just wait til Season 1 Alaska starts ;) We loved Manitoba! Winnipeg is one of those sleek modern cities that has SO much! The museum was truly powerful. We just love your area!
@@ArtWeThereYet I actually started with your Jasper video as I've never been there before. You do a beautiful job of showing off all the beauty in your videos!
Be sure to check out Schreiber Beach on Lake Superior, the 53 km Casque Isle hiking trail and the Schreiber Discovery Centre and Rail Museum. Schreiber is just 9 miles from Terrace and well worth the visit!
I love your commentary and videography and can't wait to do this drive and visit these places, this fall (in my tiny-home-on-wheels). Thank you so much for sharing!
I've watch 4 of your videos straight and it just keeps getting better! I believe your channel should have more exposure than it gets! Thank you for sharing your adventures and take care and be safe on the roads! these videos are motivating and makes me want to go for a long-haul road trip too!
I did the Trans-Canada Hwy from Sudbury to Winnipeg a number of years ago with my two brothers. We did it in February, and I gotta tell you that the landscape is completely different. It was wild, dangerous, but beautiful. My poor car did the trip, but it was COVERED in road salt, lol. The northeastern coast of Superior was by far my favorite part of the trip, and I kinda wish that we'd spent more time enjoying the scenery there instead of travelling eight hours a day. Seeing you guys do that section of road really brought back memories for me.
That’s so cool to hear about your drive, especially in February! It must have been magical. The northeastern coast of Lake Superior is a beautiful spot, and we are so glad you found our video. We really enjoyed that drive!
Thanks for another great VLOG. Canada is blessed with absolutely beautiful scenery and people, and your vlogs capture those facts. I fully agree with a previous comments, your dialogue, the scripting, video and photography are absolutely amazing. Thanks again for all your efforts to report your adventures. Cheers Ray
Hurray! We really enjoyed our stop in Weyburn, and learning all about its history and place within Canada’s economy! You live in a beautiful corner of Earth 🌎
We did a Trans-Canada tour with a camper van in 2004, from Vancouver to Halifax. We made a detour to Fort William Historical Park, near Thunderbay, on the way. It was really worth seeing.
So happy the video was helpful! Did you see Part 2? Winnipeg > Calgary. You should definitely watch it if heading all that way! Don't miss Drumheller!!! ruclips.net/video/K5Uwyz8H9AE/видео.html
We go through a lot of glass cleaner :) Actually we're not joking! So we position the GoPro close to the windshield (about 2-3 inches), and before every drive we clean the windshield well from both sides, buffing it with a glass buffing cloth.
Just did this drive a month ago. In the township of Nipigon, there is a nice lookout off to the left just after that nice suspension bridge worth stopping at. Also, just before Thunder bay is the Terry fox memorial that also offers some nice views.
I am absolutely loving all of your videos. I especially enjoy the guitar based background music...is that your guitar playing composition Cora? As a lifetime singer/songwriter I am intrigued by these great background tracks in your production. As you have been told a million times I am sure that these are such great teaching videos for schools...your production values are off the charts my friends! So very good. You hooked me in Alaska and now I am watching your videos going across Canada. Thanks so much for all of your incredibly hard work and Jose's amazing photography as well.
Hey Bob, oh we are so loving that you are enjoying the journey with us! Happy to have you on board! So our earlier videos was all my music. And last winter I had a mind to compose and record an entire AWTY Soundtrack. But quickly learned that between editing our videos, filming for upcoming videos, plus all the other things we have going on (murals, workshops, and just plain life!) there was no way I could produce all the music as well. So we started curating music from different providers like Epidemic Sound. Now I love it and can't believe once upon a time I thought it would be a good idea for me to make all the music. We support other artists by using their music on the channel, we give the music a story to shine with, and their music is just...perfect!
A few people mentioned - Sleeping Giant Provincial Park - a climb up the Chimney and a visit to Silver Islet at the tip of Sibley Peninsula - Silver Islet still not on the provincial power grid
Thanks for the tips. Going to Pukaskwa in the end of May. I never heard of cardin cove. Is it hard to find? Looks so beautiful. So much I haven't seen. Pebble beach is mind blowing was there couple times in October. Truly is a ocean inland sea. Thank you!!!
Yes, Tyler’s directions are perfect! Right when you get into town, take a right across from SPG. Road snakes down, crosses the tracks, then you’re there!
The geological features from receding glaciers are extraordinary as is an underwater waterfall north of the Bruce Peninsula in the Georgian Bay. There’s an imaged of the falls created through sonar; it is Incredible.
Do visit Neys provincial park, a former POW camp, huge sand beach, granite cliffs right on Lake Superior, train tracks cut into some cliffs, and you can walk across the sand bars at the mouth of the Little Pic River & glorious vistas of Gitche Gumee....
Look what my Alexa played while watching the video 😂 Love your videos. just realized that I can’t add a video here, it was the song you asked Alexa to play

As die hard Canadian, I find it rather refreshing that you reference the distances in miles rather than kilometers and feet and inches rather than centimeters or meters. Acres instead of hectares, gallons rather than liters, Fahrenheit rather than Celsius etc. Canada had switched over to the metric system in 1975 and I'm still not used to it. I love your vids guys.
😊 we thought about that, about whether we should use the metric system for our Canada videos, but our audience is largely from the states, so we kept it consistent with our other episodes 😊 So happy you are enjoying our channel! Yay!
😭 ughhh literally have lived all my life in Vancouver and I’m kinda sick of it already. Planning on giving this a shot once I’m able to get my N… Or maybe once I’m better at driving haha
Did you drive that big bus the entire trip? How was the condition of the highway? Were there many steep inclines/declines? Any bridge/tunnel height clearance issues? Did you rent a small car to drive in the cities? Thank you for sharing your journey!💯🕊️
Yes we did! The hwy conditions were great, there were not any big grades that we can recall to be honest. Our bus is only 12 Feet tall so we didn't have any issues with bridges heights or tunnels. We did have a Prius as our runner car to explore the cities and towns we went through.

Hey there! Ooh have an awesome trip! For ideas on places to stop would watch our two videos about the TransCanada Highway, and then I would watch the episodes on Banff and Jasper National Parks.
