    Topics covered:
    check engine light diagnosis
    BMW stomp test
removal of door panels and trim
rust removal (jacking points, quarter panel, bottom of doors)
    rust converter

Your power steering leak explanation earned yourself a new subscriber, I use the same kind of humor in my videos. Looking forward to watch the rest of your videos.

That diagram just got to me! I literally Laughed Out Loud. All jokes aside great explanation and video!

YT suggested this video (or rather the entire-build-short-video) and I'm loving it! Lovely humour and cool potential. Only gripe so far is why the output level of the music has to be so much higher than over the spoken parts. Hopefully it gets better as the videos progresses.

Nice video, and good effort on the rust conversion. I hope to do the same on my E32 bottom doors. Greetings from Quebec!

Good procedure on the rust remover. Hoping you find the idling culprit. My 740il had a cracked MAF boot, rough start and the computer compensated (replaced the boot and a CPS sensor also). Looking forward to the next video.

I'm gonna report you to the RSPCBC...the Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Bmw Clips. I have the same crusty jacking points on my e34, guess it's gonna be a trip to the welder! Nice video, sweet V8!

I would recomend getting compact sandblaster and just use that for the doors and other rust that rust converter really dosent work unles its really clean also when you blast it it will look much smoother after epoxy primer

I have really enjoyed your videos. I live in Detroit and have exactly the same car but in red. I have owned it for 16 years but it does not go out in the winter. Even with 62000 miles it has had some issues. Right now it is the rear door cards but there have been some other, more seriuos items. If it is possible, I would like to discuss with you some issues, fixes and tricks that may help you and your viewers. This is my second e34 as I had a 535 as a daily. I was curious about the oil weight you used. I use Castro 10 40. I tried synthetic oil but had some problems with it. Anyway I love my 530 and will always keep it. Keep up the good work.

It actually ended up being better than I first expected and I don’t think I’ll need to weld in new metal, but it did make me realize a new paintjob will be necessary…

@@DeadEndRestorations cutting wheel and small welder would be good investment. bending some sheet metal can be done yourself. you have the energy go for it. rust convert just slows it. i got my welder used on fb martketplace
