I recently acquired a 94 525i with 201k miles for $2800 in surprisingly great condition! It's my first bmw and I love it, it drives great and everything works on it! Your videos have been great for learning how to work on these cars, cause no doubt one day I'll have to. I just watched your pt.2 of manual swapping your e34 touring video, "You couldn't pay me 100k to do this job again," then less than 2 years later he is back at it xD
Awesome video. I fantasise about manual swapping an E34 but the part availability here in Aus just makes it unfeasible. I'd love to see you do a similar blower motor area cleanout video on one of your E36s.
excellent excellent excellent. you definitely make it look easier than you say. curious; what was the total labor time for this pedalbox swap project? it looks like you did it in one afternoon. it's always good to know the labor times of these projects. are you keeping the battery upfront? that Bay wash was a huge upgrade. I guess you'll do that every time you do a pedalbox swap from now on (ha!)

No Need to remove steering.. No need to remove paddle box.. U remove the brake paddle, use the bolt from the manual car as that enables u to bolt the brake and clutch, and done
I thought you can add the clutch pedal to the auto pedal box by unsliding the bolt out and using the longer manual one with clutch. That might be rhd only though?

Hello m8. I bought an M50B25TU from an e34 complete with loom and ecu and i want to put it in my facelift e30. Do you know where i can find info on making the loom more neat and with less wires? Thanks in advance. Greetings from Greece.
Should i swap any relay?? The starter sounds clicking but not cranking,i have a new battery and starter, have checked both with hot-wiring the starter and everything was spinning good. My relays are 2 green and one white. Any ideas???
Really clean basis for this build, but you're wasting time removing the entire pedal box, as it requires the removal of the steering column which is a tedious process. Unnecessary work. Simply add the clutch pedal and the longer manual pivot bolt, then cut the brake pedal to match a clutch pad. Also, if you're going to all this trouble, just swap in the '94-'95 steering column to take advantage of fitting the later e36 M-tech steering wheel (or pre-facelift e38/e39).

I thought you can add the clutch pedal to the auto pedal box by unsliding the bolt out and using the longer manual one with clutch. That might be rhd only though?
Supposedly thats only early pedal boxes ive heard, or then it doesn’t have return spring which i find important
Security bolts ,weld a nut to it and your off to the races
Was gonna say, you need your clutch switches
Great job bro keep it up

@@m3nameisjosh464 so i could remove them? Or just leave it be. Could it make them deploy if i messed with the wires?

To my known there isn’t really any wires that can be taken out of an M50 loom. All are pretty essential
I am so sorry, i didn't mention, the loom is from an automatic car.
