- Some of europe's fastest middle distance ladies join forces to crush a 300m repeats workout in Monte Gordo during the base training period.
Swedish national 800m record holder Lovisa Lindh, Irish Olympian (800m) Nadia Power and German Olympian (1500m) Caterina Granz are accompanied by a strong group of women for the workout under the watchful eye of Swiss National Coach Louis Heyer in perfect conditions in Portugal.
The workout: 3 sets of (4x300m) with 90sec/5min recovery.

Shoutout to Matt Fox for making videos around four times a week, that's not easy.
No wonder this is one of my favorite RUclips channels!
Something about this one maybe really nostalgic for my college/university track days -- big groups, several different workouts in progress, jumping into the next rep after another group has gotten 20 - 30 meters into theirs. Great stuff Sweat Elite!
I really like that you don‘t use background sound, it‘s just true running
I love the sound of it
Thanks Sweat Elite, awesome to see Scandinavian runners! Go Lovisa Lindh!
Great to see more Scandinavian athletes, especially swedes! 🇸🇪 Go Lovisa!
Also, that took some serious filming on a bike-skills, impressive.
Nice to se Lovisa on the channel. Go sweden! 🇸🇪
My best running workout channel you the best. I got another friend apart from Adelle tracey. 👏🏾
Great video!!
Good job ladies!
If you happen to travel to Iten, Kenya to film training camps, I would love to see videos of those!! Thanks for your work
Please check the channel- we have over 15 videos from Iten 👍
Happy birthday Nadia Power!
Video was shot on her birthday 1/11
Good Lord, just watching this makes my lungs and legs burn with lactic acid.
Great video again Matt.
The girls were excellent. Nice to see them speeding up at the end.
Is Sifan Hassan up for letting you record one of her sessions??
Hope you had a lovely time in my country 🇵🇹
it’s like a war zone after the reps 💀🤣 relatable content
Bruh who was the girl absolutely ripping up front😂.
this reminded me of my highschool days 😭
Siiuuuuuuuuu

Sweatelite has been setting high bars in consistency
freaking busy on track..
I think I might go for a run...just not at that pace!
How much recovery between repeated and series?
❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌👌
Best Shoes Name???
THE PERFECT ALGARVE !
Great workout. Any idea what the recovery between the reps was?
Always in the description
@@sweatelite nice one. Don't know how I missed that.
Are there any portuguese girls?
Pony Up!
👍👍👍
3's my favoriete reps.🥵
Shotout for Gabika Gajanová, who's in this group.
Interesting how each woman kept mostly to themselves (minimal chatter) during & afterwards. Impressive workout
I'd say that's the difference between European and American/British people. And there's also a language barrier of course.
The thing is that they come all over Europe and speak many different languages (english, french, german, swiss german, swedish,...) they don't train together all year. They are just all in the training camp.
6:19 why keep cutting the sets? Is there a full set of 300m in this video?
I see you have basically addressed the gender imbalance in the Sweat Elite videos in a single session Matt :).
🇮🇪
Pleasant to watch this video. They appear to me like clean athlets. Their training in january match what they can achieve later in the season during contests. You have to suffer this much and many times before competing. Thought, none of them is an olympian champion.
OK. so what is YOUR claim to fame? This video is about showing the types of training programs. The fact that they are not Olympian champions has nothing to do with anything. Since you appear to be trying to tell us how much you know, I suggest you go on RUclips and look up Victor Conte. Educate yourself about "Olympian champions" and Positive drug results, then open your mouth. Don't let your alligator mouth overload your Canary ass.
