As a former 400/800 guy when they said the workout I actually got jittery and nervous. The scariest workout my coach called was 3x500 very hard on 20 min recovery on a hot day. It’s the total certainty of lactic pain that was the worst. Good meet simulator too

Thats not fair. That one has very long legs which makes her faster. While the small one with the blonde hair has short little legs. They should have different running competition for different categories of height.

great to hear more from Christina Hering
Something soothing and satisfying hearing those cleats hit the track when they're both running...awesome video!

400 m full speed brings back some very sore butt cheek memories........
Very nice I hope you upload more videos on 800m runners

I see 800m specific session and I actually start building up lactic
This is actually factual
15' recovery, easy
400s at 800m pace is actual hell
Really interesting to see the "in and out" technique in real time (from about 8:00-8:40). What a great episode!

Finally this drops! Thank you, Sweat Elite!
German drills are so damn mechanic the execution is actually great
It would be great to have more 800m trainings. Great job men

To be able to run fast enough to actually induce real lactic 😅 Insane
That stride is insane.

Great workout
These workouts are harder than racing 800s but it makes race day easy

I knew majtie brummerstedt since her ratzkrone sponsoring, great development

They're running so fast you can hear the wind whistling past the camera. Amazing
do runners just run 3*400m and that's the whole workout?
If its at race pace..yes.
Try to run 3*400m at that pace and then you can talk

What was the rest?
Last one was fastest, it’s that feeling when you know you don’t have to do another one. 😓

Wonder what actual race times have been for these runners? Can they break 2 flat?
They do talk at 3:15 how both have PB of sub-2 but it's not something they run daily.
So only 3 runs?
