What a fantastic location for a running track ! I've seen it on TV and RUclips and even though I gave up track running and track work outs long ago, I would dearly love to run on this track.
Gee I havent seen a workout w these distance intervals since 1982. I am not an Olympian It was a very rainy day Ran 2 X (mile, 1320, 1100yds, 880yd) 1. 4:23.6/3:15/2:41/2:09 2. 4:28/3:18/2:46/2:08 It was my first track workout. Rainy n windy No one to push but me No coach Graduated UP pilot 1976 Was always curious what times this workout would ve indicative of....but not many races for post college in those days
I’m confused on why the coach seemed so rigged/ looked like he was trying to hide something but I mean it’s just speed work there’s nothing really special or in-depth about it. Great footage as always. Love the content.
Not run for decades on a track but used to run a lot when I was younger and my one thought... It must be really odd running with trees in the middle of the track...
This is an absolutely lovely track! Compare these conditions with those in which most of the elite Kenian runners are training... Nevertheless, it is not the track conditions that only matters... In any case, this workout is quite excruciating... I was doing something like this, albeit at a slower pace, when in the athletics school in the former Soviet Union, I know what I am talking about... Many thanks for the video, well done!
You know that track stadium looks beautiful and awesome. With a mini forest at the centre of a track it just look awesome. My question is that what if a snake or a any kind of wild animal crosses the track when you are in the middle of a race. 😀
Sweat elite > milesplit & flotrack
I second this
Milesplit and flotrack suck so bad, it’s like they get anybody in their mid 40s who have a strava account to commentate and cover races

Wesfly Alphas only
New generation > sweat elite
No annoying music, no annoying cuts, just pure running and some training chat. Absolutely loving these videos.
The background audio is the sound of shoes hitting track, love it.
This content is like gold dust. Cannot thank you enough. This is what every aspiring runner wants to watch.
Why they change shoes in between?
@@dexxxxxxxx its kind of a preference type of thing, different shoes for different paces
THIS TRACK IS INSANE! TREES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRACK. I WANNA RUN HERE!!!!
Probably the most beautiful track in the world.... who would not love to do at least one track workout in his/her life there???
I’m a 5 minute walk from there, i workout there all the time
Yes, wow, was blown away by that track 😮
That track is beautiful.
I bet that track is fun to clean every 5 seconds in the fall
Way to put a sour taste on a beautiful track👏
@@jakerichardson3322 it is beautiful though. Agreed haha
Just deploy a few roomba
I can’t think of a more appropriate use of a lawn vac.
At least it isn't buried under snow for four months like it would be in New England 😂
Craig Squared putting in fantastic work. Good luck fellas. Kill it at trials!
Good workout. Think of how many times Galen Rupp must have circled this track.
What a fantastic location for a running track ! I've seen it on TV and RUclips and even though I gave up track running and track work outs long ago, I would dearly love to run on this track.
These videos are amazing, thanks for capturing these moments!
These videos are so entertaining. Seriously can't get enough. Keep up the good work.

When your track is gorgeous and doesn't have an american football field ugging it up.
Or a soccer field
Saying Michael Johnson instead of Michael Jordan is so on brand
😂
Seeing you both run through Nike HQ, they aren’t paying you enough mate!
This track is the coolest thing i've veer seen
Poor Craig got boxed in at trials 😓
What a beautiful track!
Thanks for backstage pass!
Did you see the Burrito Stand?
Too soon
😂😂
Best training video I’ve seen, loved it
Brazier workout please🙏🏻 I know his workouts would be mind bending
Efficiency of movement at the highest level. Metronome-ish....
A great video and insight. Craig Engels & Craig Nowak were awesome. Some really great sessions. Pity Coach Pete had nothing to really offer.
Craig Engels is the best.
I am always his biggest fan. I judge athletes by their character more than their performance.
loving the content a great insight into elite runners
That's the most scenic track I have ever seen!
what a beautiful track location, nice!!!
Thank you for the great video! Watching this before a road race.
Beautiful track. Love it 😍

Eh you get a camera around and people love to push it harder, show out a bit. All he wants is the best for his athletes.
oh i wish so much to have a track in the woods like that here in my sorroundings
Interesting that Seb Coe has a building named after him on the Nike campus. Pretty sure he was running in Diadora shoes toward the end of his career.
What a lovely track/location.
This track is so incredible
terrific, inspiring, Craig and Craig hi fives
Been checking everyday for a new vid!
Oh boy I found my new favorite channel
I've never seen a track like that. Good video!
did you put a microphone on their spikes?
What a beautiful track 😍
Fantastic video!

Ultimate running track with the green
This track is amazing! Great video 👍

¡Excelentes series y lugar para hacerlas está super genial!😀
Great video, thanks for sharing!
How much recovery between the repeat and the series?
Pretty dope insight
The surrounding is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL😍😃
Wow, what a beautiful place!
Thanks for the video
I love to run here... Awesome spot❤️
what a location!!! So good
Us Craig's are a strong breed.
Love that track.
Can we have one with Sugaru Osako?
best place training
Wake up babe it’s Craig 🥰
Get a little question: did they run as reverse-clock wise?
that workout looked rough....elite sweat, indeed! Hope they crush it at Trials.
Good work
Pretty funn...trail/speed run on a track....looked like a fun hill. Keep at it-Competition is training hard also.
Looks like an awesome track
I support you Engle
Awesome!
Very-very Good Video
Thanks
Good Luck 2021...
That track is cool
I think I cried watching this knowing he didn’t make the Olympic team.
Most likely he wouldn't have won a medal in the olympics but its sad not to see him

Nowak is the pacing god. Sub 8:20 at the trials for sure
C'mon Craig, way to represent Pfafftown, NC and Reagan High School!
You know that track stadium looks beautiful and awesome. With a mini forest at the centre of a track it just look awesome. My question is that what if a snake or a any kind of wild animal crosses the track when you are in the middle of a race. 😀
Wht is this track with a forest in the middle? It's lovely...
Insane to have a forest at the middle of a track. Where is it located exactly?
Do it !
What’s on the back of Craig his T-Shirt?
This track is the coolest, but must be a but challenging with regards to race strategy
That's a good track to train on because most tracks in the US give you constant shade from the direct sunlight.
400m is a lot of rest. When I did this in high school, I would take 90 seconds off in between reps and a 400m slow jog between sets
Why is everyone going the wrong direction?
i see these tracks around a forested area all the time on youtube, anyone know if theres any of them are in wisconsin?
First time watch your video
What watch is Craig Engels wearing
Quanto tempo recuperano?
What was the rest
Jog 400m
Bones hurt watching them do a cooldown on bricks

Why are they running backwards?
What's with the mullet?
