RED SOX WINNING IT AGAIN 2018

At the time, my 74 year old Father called me and simply said, "I can't believe they finally did it." This is from a man who watched Ted Williams play. I will NEVER forget that phone call.

That was the greatest two-week wild ride, EVER!!! The cheering and crying, the late nights, the sleepless nights. It was all worth it!! I'd kill to live it all over again!!! What amazing memories.

McPepper Same here. Although we were in 1st place in 2013 we were considered the underdog against the Tigers in the ALCS. We prevailed. So yes, I agree. I have that feeling too. :-)

It was the best Red Sox. Beating those Yankees, was so sweet. It was for everything they did to the Red Sox. It was payback for 2003, 1978 and 1949. Red Sox were loaded. What a fabulous time, as a Boston Sports Fan, In General. Memories of the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics last forever and ever. Red Sox winning in 2004, is always Number 1 in Boston, and all of New England.

Yes I did and loved it. I have the DVD of 2003 by itself. I also have the 2 HBO shows they made called Curse of the Bambino and Reverse of the Curse of the Bambino. I have the 2004 box set too of every playoff game. So yes I do love the Sox. 👍🏻

I don't know whether this is cheesy or not, but her it is. In 2004, I cried for joy when I saw Keith Foulke get the final out. I had been waiting for that moment for years, and it finally happened. Of course, I was an early teenager, but I grew up in a family of die hard baseball fans, Red Sox fans. This was the best year for the Red Sox since the "Dream Team" of God knows when The Yankees and their fans will never understand that no matter what, their 27 championships brought less joy than this

i remember watching this . i had just gotten direct tv.. i've always liked the Red Sox.. when i lived in the US in the 90's they were my team... the way they won.. how they played in the 2004 world series it was just amazing.. i cried back then.. and i just cried watching this..

SO true. Bring up 27 rings all you want, the joy I felt from the moment of the final out of 2004 will never be matched. I'm halfway in tears just from seeing these clips.

What happened between Boston and New York was a Hollywood Script that came to life! I became tired of hearing about "The Curse". I became inspired to root for all of you for being so faithful! The Yankees were your bullies for soo long! It felt great to watch you guys come back and beat them in their own house! Nobody will ever gain revenge in baseball like you have! The Greatest Comeback In Sports History! I still get happy watching it nearly ten years later!

Out of all the teams in baseball to be the first to ever blow a 3 games to 0 lead in the best of seven playoff series..........The New York Yankees. I was glad to see the Yankees get beat as it seemed like they were in the World Series every year the past decade so was getting sick of seeing them.

Boston fans on the other hand have a great love for the sport because they KNOW what it is like to lose (which is not a bad thing because they can enjoy wins more) unlike the Yankees, who cant stand when they get beat by a better team.

that was a flawed yankee team...no Petitte. no front-line starter such as Pedro and Schilling and Tony strikeout at first instead of Giambi..Instead, Jon Lieber, an over the hill El Duque and 39 year old Kevin Brown in game 7..all the pieces fell into place for Soxs for that to happen..but you have to still give credit to them, as it was quite a way to win after 86 years of being bad

27 wins more like 27 asterisks, monis rocks 1995 the majority of your loveable yankees were recently discovered to be juicing while the red sox yes big Papi included( innocent until proven guilty and he has not been) came up clean. which makes the skankees choke in 04 so much more funny. still hurts dont it? on top of that i live in the 21st century while your stuck in the past, the red sox are current world champs and have won three titles in less than ten years. while your yankees won one and lost to the mariners of all teams in 03 lol. Tampa is more a rival these days than the yankees. enjoy living in the past while the rest of the baseball world lives in the now
