Which one do you recommend for just doing my son's soccer games. Would the fx30 be good for this. Or what other camera lower then this that can produce good videos without breaking my pockets too much.
probably the fx30 - considering that it fits in your pocket, you don't need an external monitor to ensure he's in frame, and it can still be rigged out if you need extra features - it still produces great quality, so you can save money for SD cards for long shoots, different lenses, and other accessories
I have the Fx6 and I am searching for a small b-cam 🎥 fx30 or ZVE1 🤔 APSC or full frame? I have 5 full frame lenses 🙈 I am not sure 🤷♂️ but very good video 👏
ZV-E1 for the win! That's a baby a7S III.
I have the FX6 and the FX30 as my Bcam. ZVE1 is more of a "prosumer" camera. I would always choose a reliable cine camera that will not overheat and has cine ergonomics and usage style.
ZVE1 doesn't even have a CineEI mode... It just targets a different market.
Also, having an APSC camera gives me the best of both worlds if I want to use my FF lenses. For example, my 90mm now acts as a 140mm lens...
Not to mention they match really well in design :)
It all depends on what's more important to you and your style of shooting.
@@camerazone_ As another person has said the ZV-E1 is more like a consumer camera. The FX30 is produced by the Cine Line of Sony same as the FX6 and FX9. And for professional video I would not trust the ZV-E1 since it lacks fans to cool down the camera. I would never try to use a ZV-E1 as a B camera to either my FX9 or FX6 camera.

@@tonyamartin1425 the a7iv is better as a still photo camera. For video I would not trust it. It would tend to overheat even if you put the power on High. I would choose the FX30, FX3 or a7sIII as a B cam. Also, the a7IV has a severe aliasing problem because of the lack of a low pass filter which makes it unsuitable for serious professional video production.
Finally the voice over is improved 👍
Are there any image quality differences that you've noticed, if any?
Not talking about low light or ergonomics, just if you compare them both at their base 800 ISO...
Ive heard the fx30 is producing a sharper image as its 6k downsampled to 4k, like the Zcam s6. where as the fx3/6 are 4.2k downsampled to 4k.

@@KristophTy Yeah, I bought 2 as B and C cameras to my FX6. They're an excellent match. If anything, the FX30 has more codec options and is a bit sharper because of the 6K sensor, like mentioned.
Obviously, full frame has its advantages when it comes to lens characteristics, low light etc. And the FX6 is a beast when it comes to functionality. But FX30 footage looks amazing.

You can, but definitely won't be on par with FX6.
