Twitch viewers don’t have to apologize for: - not being able to subscribe - not being able to gift subs - being “late” to a stream - missing a stream - not chatting and just lurking Your time is the most valuable thing you can give, you’re appreciated just for being there.
Don't agree with the last one. Chatting makes things more lively and motivates people to stay in the chat. View count helps people join and so does a lively chat. Time is valuable and it's more so for the streamers putting in the work, getting all the equipment and working for hrs
I'm currently not eligible for monetization so that is why there are no ads. However, I don't plan on extending videos just to get two ads out of a video whenever I am eligible. I don't think viewers should have to suffer fluff and filler just so to get the content that they are looking for!
This is the first video I’ve watched as a noob to streaming (I literally streamed my first game today) and it’s a massive eye opener thank you so much dude!
Useful video man! Thanks for the tips. I just started streaming for a week and yesterday, I had my first random viewer that actually stayed, interacted, and even joined in game during my stream. I was super nervous and excited. I'll definitely try out your 3 tips. I also noticed something: if I use a camera, I'd get more viewers than I do without one
Just wanted to thank you for providing great content for new streamers that really need that help and push to grow. I appreciate you going the extra mile for us. 😁👍🏽
Thank you brother! I totally agree with the use of public goals. People generally want to be a part of something and they want to support the communities they love
I just started streaming a few days ago , at first it felt very awkward but after a while I felt more comfortable 🥺 ur tip about the title is really helpful ! I’ll try improving on my title choices , thank u so much ✨
This is a great tutorial on growing your twitch. Just got started with an awesome setup, and always wondered how everyone got their viewers. Either way I’m excited and hope any new viewers can have just as much fun! Thanks again!
Thank you for the useful tips! I have a lot of insecurities and finally decided to start streaming 2 days ago and the passion is overflowing from me ! I think this is what I really want to do!
I mean I play fortnite for most of my streams for my own enjoyment but does that mean it's gonna be really hard to grow?? Because I always thought if you picked a game that not many people watch it's harder than a game that is viewed a ton
Thanks so much Chad for sharing these helpful tips I really enjoyed watching and learning from this video!! What a great suggestion with being creative with your game titles and putting follower goals can’t wait to see more videos
another good tip is to be interactive with the viewer, read the chat often, respond to the chat often, shout out the person that just follow you. i love those streamers.
Thanks man! This video was really helpfull, as a new content creator I hope these tips will work because twitch is a difficult platform to get noticed on. I wish you the best of luck with future video's. Also subscribed, keep it up 👍
Hey man, just stumbled on your videos , and I got to say that they are top notch, and It reminds me when I started in the "How To," Keep up the good work.
Thanks i would love to grow in twitch and youtube and this helps give a good advice on live streaming the only down fall for me.... No camera no Job 🤷 i guess i can set a cam and mic as a goal but that will not happen.
Hey man, I stream on RUclips. I average about 10 viewers max and 5-6 stays for a long time. How do u keep them up? How do you increase the views. How do u get them to talk? Thanks men! Hope u make it and the grind wont stop 👌
Great questions! Growth on streaming platforms can be difficult. Mainly because the platforms aren't made to help smaller streamers out. The homepage is a representation of Twitch and RUclips as a company, so for the most part this is big partnered streamers. The best tip I have for increasing viewers is to try and push people to your stream from different platforms. Typically creative platforms work the best. These would be like RUclips (videos) and TikTok. While non creative platforms such as Twitter and Facebook aren't near as good from my experience. Getting viewers to talk is something a lot of smaller streamers struggle with. Lurkers or stragglers as I call them lol. I'd suggest bringing up conversations or talking points that people tend to have opinions on. For example if you are playing a game and there is a recent update ask people if they have tried the recent update and what are there thoughts on it. Ask what there favorite weapons/characters/map or games are. Ask nostalgic questions like what is your favorite console/video game of all time. These questions are engaging and people tend to have an opinion about these type of things and want to voice theirs. Hope something in here may help! Keep up the grind and happy streaming!
It’s me...I’m one of those people who go to random 0 viewer lives just to help out. I’ll stay, but I don’t normally stay long if it isn’t in English, sucks not being bilingual.
The hardest thing a small RUclipsr can feel is when you wake up in the morning and nothing has changed on your channel 😢 💔 but I hope you reach your goals! mine is 50 btw lol
really educated video tbh. taking streaming more serious. it’s been a dream to be a content creator or a streamer. Really learned that i need to not stream for so long. 1-2 hours max. really on that affiliate grind @Nebulaluke on twitch. thanks for the video!
I hope these tips really work, because they seem like they do! I started streaming a month ago and I haven't seen much of a growth on my channel, so I'm really struggling with that. I pour a lot of effort into it, but it doesn't seem to happen. I'll take your tips and hope for the best. thank you :) Channel: Jimmychillo (AKA: Wishbone)

I am started just 2 weeks ago. I am playing pubg mobile, I have only few followers and not really watch me... 😕 I am Peechigirl anyway ☺️ have a good day
Streaming unsaturated games really work cuz normally i stream fortnite but once i played a game that was a sort of puzzle game and after 10 min i had like 15 people in my chat just talking about the game etc and i had a really great time!
thank you alot for this! i speedrun luigis mansion which is kind of dead but im gonna try to get a base foundation because there is still a decent community :) im also playing other games that im good at like League and Cod.
It's been almost 3 years and I still haven't reached affiliate. Only thing holding me back is average viewers. I'm a knitter more than a gamer. If I put affiliate goal in the description will that make a big difference?
I’m a new sub so I actually try out streaming yesterday but I got stuck on which category to choose cause I couldn’t find gaming which one should I choose
Don’t u hate when you stream and one viewer just came in the stream and leave without chatting
Exactly
facts
Lmao it’s called you need to be streaming for six months to starting getting growth
@@cavequan8508 i literally got 13 views on my channel and only 6 of them followed me :(

I got it too lmao
