Huge letdown story wise. Fury just doesn’t have the weight of the first two.
Andrew M idk bro, I don’t think DS3 was as good as the other two but I think it was pretty good along with the character. Fury ain’t my favorite but she was definitely as fleshed out and had her time, same as the others

@Malik Roman the whole game is ironic , war tries to bring peace by defeating those who did wrong , death scarifies and bring back life, fury learns compassion and humility

The way it transitions to Guardian theme is Truly Legendary
1. War was tasked to defend the Balance by killing the Destroyer and Free the Other Horsemen by Destroying the Seventh Seal and starting the Endwar.
2. Death was tasked to proof War innocence by ressurect Humanity and Fight his way to free the Tree of Life from Corruption Grasp.
3. Fury was tasked to destroy the Seven Deadly Sins that roam free in Haven & finding the Truth about the Balance.
4. Strife was tasked to protect humanity from extinction by join forces with Makers & other Human Refugees.
Death wasn't tasked do anything. He went by his own accord.
And I don't think that Strife was tasked to protect humanity as well, since The Councile wants it gone, and he was hiding amongst humans in the 3rd game.

Darksiders 4 needs to be about Strife’s POV in all of this. War, Death and Fury each got their own games through out this series therefore it only makes sense that Strife gets his own as well.
Darksiders Genesis doesn’t count because in that game the story is focused on both Strife and War and it’s a prequel before the trilogy.
Darksiders 4 intro should start off with Strife explaining why he chose to blend in with humanity. While the game starts us off in an epic battle when Strife revealed himself to Fury before she teleported with the surviving humans she promised to protect.
Obviously the game will end with him being reunited with the other horsemen leaving us with the final Darksiders game.
It should either be called Darksiders 5 or

A final one to close the Story where Death reunites with his Sister and Brother find War and after freeing him to bring strife, fury, war and finally death to all left corruption and to redeem themself by there last and final battle.

Conquest and Famine are the other two. You wouldn't say pestilence if you wanted to correct them for making their own horseman. Pestilence is the pop culture horseman.

They go by different names too.
+Vladimir Valentine Yes they are, with different names and powers. Famine is a woman here, ride black horse, Pestilence - Strife. You can read more about them in Darksiders comic books and Darksiders Abomination Vault,, they are not in the games.
