Tidder T where have they stated that? It’s known the KH team watched the KH RUclipsrs but that’s a different team. This is BD1 and so far only stated they have watched Max’s reaction to my knowledge when I watched his stream.

Wow, Max almost made me cry tears of joy for a game i don't even care that much about. I love people who get unapologetically excited about things they love. It's something I'm still learning to do.
Lord Baktor Not a tremendous fan of this game either, but I agree, seeing the unfettered joy from Max was just...infectious. It was fun to get caught up in the moment.
Lord Baktor I felt the same for Mega Man in Smash...there are moments when someone you admire gets so happy about something you don't care much for...it somehow makes you happy that others are happy and hyped about something. Nothing wrong with it, m'lord. It's called hype/feels. Hype and feels combined...very powerful stuff. :)

Lord Baktor If you almost cried at this, you should watch Unravel's dev from EA conferece, the guy was a nervous wreck, shaking a lot and seemed ready to burst into tears, but you could feel how excited he was for being there to show his game to everyone.

Has it though? 5 years later and they've released part 1 or 3. If they didn't do it piece by piece it could have been 7-8 years before it was released which is an entire console cycle.

They paid A LOT of respect to FF7 in the remake and made absolutely sure to get it as perfect as it could possibly be, and they hit it out of the fucking park.
It might've taken them 5 years, but considering how great the game is, I'd say it's more than worth it.
6 years later, still magical.
The impossible game now exists, and this man's reaction was the motivation behind it. Now the next question is how long until the next part! But we will wait as long as we need to.

I watched this with my brother. FF7 is my all-time fav game and I was one of the people that didn't want a remake. As the trailer went on I kept saying "No, I don't want this! I didn't ask for this!" and as soon as I saw Barret's gun I lost my shit jumped for joy because the 12 year old me from back then decided to jump out jump out. My brother watched me completely 180 in a split second.... Then Shenmue 3 Kickstarter was announced.... I think I died.

That FFVII reveal is perhaps the greatest gaming reveal in history. The amount of hype right now isn't even detectable it's just soooo high.
Okay, I am going to admit it... I've never played Final Fantasy 7. I want to, but I simply never got around to it so the game holds none of the special meaning for me as it does others.
...but I rewatch this reaction maybe once a month because it makes me just smile to see someone so HAPPY. The pure joy Max has... it is wonderful

Final Fantasy 7 was so incredible. It's very, very old now, but if you can appreciate old games you can still find and play it because it is still very playable. That's actually what I did. I never had a PSOne.. I had always been a big Nintendo fan and didn't find Sony until PS2. But PS2 was backwards compatible and I always was so intrigued by this FF7 game - a game that was originally supposed to be a Nintendo game. So one day I bought a copy online and played it on my PS2. The graphics were already outdated even at that time, but I didn't care, I played it and I started to understand. It was incredible.. the story.. the characters.. the battle system.. the depth of gameplay.. the challenge.. I may not have experienced the game during it's prime, but I still had my moment and my memories with the game and it's something I wouldn't trade in the world for anything. I'm so glad I decided to track it down and play it. I'm not sure how it would hold up to a first time player now in 2017.. I will warn you, by now the graphics are ROUGH, you would have to be the type of person that has a very, very open mind, who enjoys massively single player experiences and willing to play something that is now very dated, but I'm sure even today, this game has something special in store for anybody willing to try it with an open mind.. or just wait for the remake. It really was an amazing, incredible ride.

And what a journey it was. I gotta say remake 7 was a triumphant experience start to finish. One of the best ive ever played. Filled with love and passion throughout. You genuinely can feel the love here in this game its truly heart warming.

@@DarthSymbixteThat is from the middle of the Main Theme of FF7, also referred to as Clouds theme. That note isn't how the song starts, but if you listen to the whole song, you'll reach that point in the song. It's also the same music that plays on the world map of FF7 before Meteor shows up.

My heart still aches from this game. I love how unapologetically in love people are with FF7.
I don't think people fully understand what this remake means. People whine about how "There's so much wrong with FF7, why do people like it?" Well guess what, this is a way to fix an already decent game. The translation issues? Fixed. The Graphics? Fixed. Balancing issues? Fixed. Other odds and ends that annoy people? Fixed.
The is a chance to make FF7 a better game than it already is. This was the game that introduced me to RPGs pretty much so I'm very excited to see how this remake ends up. My fingers are crossed that they don't fuck it up.
My only worry is that some stuff might be changed due to it maybe being seen as problematic. Like the crossdressing mission.
I just want the materia system to be the same. Other than that I teared up when I saw this. I remember my dad coming home with a Rob zombie cd and came into my room and said here son I bought this game for you. It took me a week to beat the scorpion boss because I kept attacking him while his tail was up
Marty Ruiz I honestly think the materia system is still one of the best ways to handle magic. Sure is a hell lot better than FF8's system.
I love the magic system in ff7 it was so versatile. I'm replaying ff7 on my vita and my characters always play differently each playthrough.

Why do I not trust them? That wasn't the first time they played with people's hearts when it came to FFVII. The first time I remember was the steam re-release of it with microtransactions a whole year and a half before that reveal
LordBahamut No. They went back to make a trailer that probably took 6 months to make. The development cycle will be extensively long. However, I'm glad they are remaking it, especially if it adds more to the lackluster gameplay.

bigace89s Legend of Dragoon is honestly the greatest PS1 RPG, it was overshadowed by FF8 because of how popular Final Fantasy was at the time, but as a game, it has every FF game on the PS1 beat, IMHO.

Nathan Taylor FFVII was the first RPG for a LOT of people, and that makes it special for them. It's a great game, but in a different situation it wouldn't receive the same love(something that happens with every other Final Fantasy, and stays in VII's shadow).

This was the reaction that finally convinced me to give FF7 a go. The sheer freakout Max and others were having over the idea of a remake for this game was nuts. Definitely a fun game to play despite its age.

I never thought I would ever see Max more hype than anything when this dropped... Until Capcom dropped the Tactical Nuke that was Ultimate Marvel 3 remastered and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
Alex Night bruh... EVERY TIME. Only sad thing is World of Final Fantasy got shafted from the attention. Wouldn't say it deserves FF7RE's amount of hype by any means, but after getting it it's actually turning out to be a pretty good game. Also, play FF7RE FIRST on Ps4? Wonder if that hints at other possible future ports then! With Cloud in Sm4sh, a Switch port definitely seems likely!

The constant spattering of him being all not too impressed even though he's beyond excited and then the announcement of the re-release of Ultimate Marvel 3. Yeah... Pretty sure he was more hyped about Marvel vs Capcom than here with FFVII although it was close.

Eh, they started on it in 2016, restarted with a new engine in 2017. Only took them 3 years, considering how big the game is they finished it really fucking fast actually

I luv watching this video the editing done, it's like watching a Disney movie. The way max ends the video with the music playing brings pure joy to everyone. Tears were brought to my eyes, so stoked for this. We waited so long for this.

@@michaelal20 that's misinformation. Nomura is the one who got fucked over the most due to SE's awful management in the past. Worst is that he gets the brunt of the blame from fans because he got a face and name to show.
@@Rinnemi Nomura is the true MVP to always taking the hit. I believe if SE didnt pull him out of the Versus 13 project all because of KH3. Versus 13 wouldve been a masterpiece
@@armandorsolid5522 cause they rebuild the whole shit again because SE wanted it to be on PS4 and not ps3 and also nomura had to finish KH3 so they can focus on FF7 remake in the final production. So he worked on 3 games basically for over 5 years. And who do you blame ? nomura. Maybe you should start blamimg SE for their management and how they treat employees instead of one guy that was trying to make things work and trying to make people happy. Oh and little side note: Nomuras Versus 13 was totally butchered. They rebuild the game for ps4 and only kept the action like combat. They kinda re did the characters and the script for the story. The world and overall story was still from nomura but the whole game was deleted and the new director made his thing out of it. So they butchered his game and everything he worked for so .. ya... Nomura is the bad guy here...

Watching this video again after Max's stream made me realize he had to wait nearly 5 YEARS for this game to come out, and judging from the stream he just did, the wait was well worth it. Shine on Max!
Man, I still to this day look up reaction videos for this game. I wish I could have caught my reaction on camera. I was watching e3 and my uncle was across the street at my mother's house on the phone. I jumped out of my chair and ran light speed across the street, burst through the door and said "DUDE THEY ARE DOING IT!!! OMFG!!! THE ARE REMAKING FF7!!!"
Whenever I've had a bad day, I watch this video. The happiness this man shows i can't help getting a smile on my face.

Melted Sherbert Yes, because it's been SO LONG, hasn't it? It's not like we had a trilogy of good games a few years ago, or since they localized Type-0 which has gotten a lot of praise. You'll forgive me if I keep my FF hype where it belongs. On the potentially great, new title coming out (FFXV), rather than the remake of a game I never thought was that good to begin with.

Nicaveli I'm actually curious, what is that supposed to mean? If it means that I only like newer games, you're greatly mistaken. I simply don't see why I should get so hyped for a remake that, while good, wasn't close to the god-like game some people make it out to be. Especially when there's a game with legitamate potential coming out.
Before you reply, know that I would be the same if say, Shadow Hearts (one of my favorite games of all time) was getting a remake. The game was great to begin with and if people liked FF7 as much as they say they do, they shouldn't have begged for a remake so much. You're basically admitting the game wasn't good enough to begin with and needs to be made better. Improving the graphics isn't going to change the game, it's the same story with the same characters and the same gameplay.
Get your remake, I'll look forward to XV putting it to shame
