Some people only wanted to find fault with Christianity. Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple and turn over the table (Mat 21:12-17) . Jesus was angry and called them dens of thieves. Some people claimed these people like money changers were harmless and said Jesus sinned against them. Jesus was quoting Jer 7:11 because Jeremiah was also angry with people misusing the place of worship. God can show his wrath (Eze7:8).

Jesus didn’t fulfill as in it’s done and over with. When he said he came to fulfill it, he was speaking in the context of continuation. This mindset of fulfilled is a modern Christianity belief that we are saved by grace and are no longer under the mosaic law, which is absolutely false! Jesus said if you love me then keep my commandments. Of which, are under the mosaic law, AND in the Old Testament.

This is how God identifies himself.
      DEUTERONOMY 4
35 Unto you it was shown, that you might know that the L-rd he is G-d; there is none else beside him.
39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in your heart, that the L-rd he is G-d in heaven above and upon earth beneath, there is none else.
      DEUTERONOMY 6
      4 Hear, O Israel; the L-rd our G-d is one L-rd:
      DEUTERONOMY 32
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
      ISAIAH 42
8 I am the L-rd: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
      ISAIAH 43
10 You are my witnesses, says the L-rd, and my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and understand that I am he: before me there was no god formed, neither
shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the L-rd; and beside me
      there is no savior.
      ISAIAH 44
6 Thus says the L-rd the King of Israel, and his redeemer the L-rd of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no G-d.
      HOSHEAH 13
4 Yet I am the L-rd your G-d from the land of Egypt, and you shall know no god but me: for there is no savior beside me.
      ISAIAH 46
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am G-d, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
      ISAIAH 45
5 I am the L-rd, and there is none else, there is no G-d beside me: I girded you though you have not known me:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the L-rd, and there is none else.18 For thus says the L-rd that created the heavens; G-d himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the L-rd; and there is none else.
      EXODUS 33
20 And he said, You can not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
      PSALM 146
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the salvation of man, in whom there is no help.
      EZEKIEL 28
9 Will you yet say before him that slays you, I am G-d? But you shall be a man, and no G-d, in the hand of him that slays you.10 You shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the L-rd G-d.
      NECHEMIAH 9
6 You, even you, are L-rd alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas and all that is therein, and you preserve the all; and the host of
      heaven worship you.
      1 CHRONICLES 17
20 O L-rd, there is none like you, neither is there any G-d beside you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
      ISAIAH 45
20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up wood of their graven image, and pray unto
      a god that cannot save.
21 Tell you, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I the L-rd? And there is no G-d beside me; a just G-d and a savior; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am G-d, and there is none else.
      HOSHEAH 11
9 I will not execute the fierceness of my anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am G-d, and not man,; the Holy One in the midst of you, and I will not enter into the city.
      1 SAMUEL 16
29 And also the strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
      NUMBERS 23
19 G-d is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
      EXODUS 20
      2 I am the L-rd your G-d, which have
brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 You shall have no other gods before me.4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in
heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that in the water under the earth.
5 You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them: for I the L-rd your G-d am a jealous G-d, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and
fourth generation of them that hate me;6 and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
      DEUTERONOMY 4
12 And the L-rd spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only you heard a voice.
13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tablets of stone. 14 And the L-rd commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments,
that you might do them in the land you go over to possess it.
15 Take you therefore good heed unto yourselves; for you saw no manner of similitude on the day that the L-rd spoke unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire.16 Lest you corrupt yourselves, and make a
graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female.
23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the L-rd your G-d, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the L-rd your G-d has forbidden you.
      24 For the L-rd your G-d is a consuming fire, even a jealous G-d.
Please tell me, how can this align with you assertion of a triune god?

@ What for? The NT is full of lies and inconsistencies. For example: The following are referenced to prophecies that the NT indicates are supposedly found in the Hebrew Bible . The first is from the mouth of Jesus himself. After the resurrection, he appeared to the disciples and said:
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (Luke 24:44-46)
Where in the Hebrew bible is this prophecy?
Another example from a Pauline prophecy:
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:(] Corinthians 15:1-4)
Paul makes the same mistake by saying, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. "
He also indicates that he gave this information to the Corinthians after he received it from someone else. Who gave him this information? Could it have been the author of Luke? Why don't Jesus, Luke or Paul tell us which prophet wrote this prophecy? They couldn't because it's a fraudulent reference.

@ and then, Here is some truth:
Didn’t God restrict us to NOT ADD OR TAKE AWAY from His commandments??
Then how do you reconcile your belief in Jesus to God’s immutable truth? For it is written:
      1. One Person Cannot Die for the Sins of Another
      Exodus 32.30-35, Deuteronomy 24.16, Jeremiah 31.29-30, Ezekiel 18 (all), & Psalm 146.3
      2. A Blood Sacrifice Isn’t Needed to Forgive Sins
      Genesis 4.7, Exodus 22.3-14, 34.6-7, Leviticus 5.11-13, Numbers 5.6-7, 14.17-19, 16.47 & 31.50, 1st Samuel 15.22, 2nd Samuel 12.13-16, 1st Kings 8.38-39, 41-43, & 46-50, 2nd Kings 12.16, Isaiah 6.6-7, 55.6-7, Jeremiah 7.22-23, Hosea 14.2, Jonah 3.5-10, Micah 6.6-8, Psalm 32.3-5, 34.14, 51.16-17, 86.5-7 & 15, 103.8, 111.4, 116.5, Proverbs 21.3, 28.13, Job 33.26, Lamentations 3.23, & 2nd Chronicles 7.14
      3. God Will Never Accept a Human Sacrifice
      Deuteronomy 12.30-31, Jeremiah 19.4-6, Ezekiel 16.20, & Psalm 106.37-38
      4. God is One & Indivisible (not a trinity)
      Exodus 20.3, Deuteronomy 6.4, Isaiah 43.11, 44.6, 45.5-7, & Psalm 16.4
      See also the NT texts of Matthew 24.36, 26.42, Mark 13.32, Luke 18.19, 23.34, & John 14.28
      5. God Doesn't Become a Human, & Humans Don't Become God

@ There is no mention anywhere in the Hebrew Scriptures of the requirement to believe in any messiah, his blood or death for forgiveness of sins.
The 7th Commandment in the Ten Commandments is "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). This commandment is considered a warning against immorality, including sexual involvement outside of marriage. ADULTERY (Heb. נִאוּף, ni'uf; sometimes, loosely, זְנוּת, zenut; זְנוּנִים, zenunim; lit. "fornication, whoredom"). Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married woman, or one engaged by payment of the brideprice, with a man other than her husband.
A mamzer is a person born from a relationship that is forbidden by Jewish law or the Hebrew Bible, or is a descendant of such a person.
According to traditional Jewish law, a "mamzer" (a child born from an adulterous relationship) is considered unable to fully participate in the Jewish community, including marriage restrictions, and therefore would not be considered part of the "congregation of the Lord" in the traditional interpretation, which could be seen as implying they wouldn't be included in God's kingdom.
I’ll never understand why God the creator, found it necessary to create his own mother in order to be born and in doing so impregnated another man’s fiancé in essence committing Adultery in violation of his own decree, statutes and instructions.
Didn’t Yeshua add to Torah and speak against this when he said that looking upon another man’s wife is adultery? Matt 5:28
So how does Christianity justify God committing adultery in the birth of Jesus, so that he would be born a mamzer (illegitimate)? And how can Jesus be messiah if as a mamzer (illegitimate child) as under God’s government he would be disqualified?

With one important point I desagree: where is it written on the new Testament that Jews changed the Shabbat into Sunday? Even Jesus said: pray that the persecution will be not on Shabbat (Mat. 24) and did not resurrect on Shabbat and rested in his tomb. Also we read from Jesus that nothing will be changed in the law, so the Shabbat is always the day of the Lord and not sunday, that was by the way introduced by Constantin (not first Christians) and changed by catechism (the little horn that changes times and laws Daniel 7) not God‘s laws). In heaven we will keep Shabbat like it was in Genesis… Hope we will agree together on that pount brother Knechtle! 😊 May the Lord guide us all to his beautiful truth!

      @@razib00007 There’s a misunderstanding of the scripture.
Matthew 5:19-20, Jesus was primarily referring to the moral laws. This interpretation is supported by several key points:
Context of the Sermon on the Mount: Jesus focuses on ethical teachings and moral principles throughout this discourse. Emphasis on commandments: Jesus specifically mentions "commandments" in verse 19, which typically refers to moral laws rather than ceremonial or civil laws, because all the ceremonial laws represented the sacrifice of Jesus, in His crucifixion, He fulfilled the sacrificial laws.
Righteousness: In verse 20, Jesus speaks of "righteousness," which is closely associated with moral behavior and ethical standards. Interpretation by scholars: Many biblical scholars understand these verses as referring primarily to the moral aspects of the Old Testament law.

Also if the slave owner provides a wife for their slave and that wife produces children, the children are the property of the slave owner. And the children are slaves for life. When the Hebrew man goes free the woman and the children are not free because the woman and the children are the slave owner's property.
It's odd that Cliff wants to speak about context but then he completely misses the context of the verse. It's very odd. That verse very clearly says that the foreigners are slaves for life. Indentured servants aren't slaves for life. So that passage is obviously not talking about indentured servants. Cliff needs to do a better job at context.

That is factually dead wrong. The only slaves that were not released every 7 years were those take in war with their nation under judgment from God. All other slaves were released after 7 years. Many chose to stay with their master because they lived in a barbaric world with no unemployment benefits, food stamps, government housing, shelter or protections and they had all those things while in "slavery" which is why many people in those days willingly sold themselves into "slavery".

    • @ExperienceEric
      @ExperienceEric Месяц назад +3

You can sit back and judge God all you want, but the simple fact is its God who will be your judge in the end. The question you should be asking is not if you agree with Gods laws he placed on a 1500 BC culture but is the Bible true or not. IF its true YOU are the one who will be judged for accepting Jesus and his free gift of salvation by faith alone or be cast into the fire for your rejection and denial of your own creator.

This is a misunderstanding of the Hebrew word "ebed" which can mean slave or servant. The Hebrews had servants. Servants are voluntary but promised labor. In modern days terms you could call it an employee with a 7 or 50 year contract. A modern day form of biblical servant hood is actually debt. People go into debt voluntarily and then are required to work to pay off the debt. But in modern days because we have the medium of cash to represent our services individuals are able to work for who they want instead of work for their creditors. But SLAVERY was never permitted in the Bible. It's a mistranslation.

yep it is not changed but we have more precise time sensory to meassure time and days! 365,2 days there in a year and if divide with 7 you still get 52,17...
peoples used mostly lunar calendar which had 363-364 days in a year but at every year it was more messed up
hebrew calendar also wre 29-30 days so in a year get 348 to 360 days so not even close to the truth! (i mean not close because it is huge difference and cause major problems after 50-100 years!)

Ultimately it does not matter which day of the week is the Sabbath, what matters that we take the time to worship, praise, and celebrate God.
