Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

That would be awesome if we got to see their spiritual progression in Life decades later if they're still alive. It's cool seeing classic younger Cliffe Knechtle from the 1990's and early 2000's answering questions from college students who were very respectful asking reasonable questions even if challenging to Christianity and theism. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. My interpretation, and the interpretation of others in my circle, is that”judge not, lest ye be judged” is to say, “take care not to judged, for you shall also be judged” which is to say that the judgement that you meet out shall also be used to judge you

Youre not forbidden from judging people. Judgement is a form of discernment.
Discernment is a gift from God to tell truth from lies. To tell Good from evil.
Just make sure your actions align with the same judgements you pass on others.
If you say do not kill and judge someone for that action.. first make sure you're not a murderer.
If you judge someone for being a liar, first make sure you have not lied.

He wasn't born knowing the Bible and the word of God. You can tell he spends and has spent a lot of time praying, studying and reading the Bible and any or all historical facts of the New Testament as well as the old. Yes, Jesus uses him as an instrument and uses him beautifully. He teaches in all his sermons or teachings to follow and love Christ. Look how God has blessed him? I love listening to Cliffe - so that I could give glory to Jesus by being able to answer the questions about faith and the Truth.
I Agree, I have not listened to many Preacher's, I always end up feeling like I'm being sold some faulty Self gratifying good's. But for some reason Cliffe's depth of understanding and Wide Knowledge of the material Amaze's me. Perhaps because he does not see himself as a Preacher, but more of an Educator

Cliff called him out as not being able to live as he says, and while Cliff may not have pointed it out as I did, it's clearly there.. But honestly, even most of the unbelievers around that day were probably thinking the kid is a bit twisted in his logic.

Whether they agree or not, an exchange was occurred and God's message can be delivered. However, those kids were challange, wait for their turn and talk again...

@Sethhaun78 Not Devil, it's sin since Sin is a by product of going against God, just as devil went against God since devil is a sinner too, and not THE sin. We also inherited a rebellious sinful nature because we all are sinners and our natural instinct is to go against God which is why we by ourselves cannot save ourselves but can be saved only trought Jesus Christ, so I would just say that the kid was being rebellious and simply saying everything opposite of what Cliff was saying because teenagers are rebellious but that trait is more apperant in them since he is still a kid and kids usually are not smart or wise and thus their rebellious nature is more pure, and by pure I mean that they don't know how to hide it.

Anyone can claim to have read the scriptures from cover to cover, but studying the different genres and reading in context is crucial to understanding the nature of the Trinity and God's plan for salvation through Moses to Jesus Christ. Praise God we and lean on others who have devoted their lives in ministry and teaching for guidance in discernment and truth of God's word.

This is very good. It does my heart good to see this conversation done with courtesy. Too often these presentations devolve into little more than shouting matches. I think, however, that this newly popular orientation of the divine counsel perspective could really add a lot more understanding in situations like this. You may judge a person's actions but not their soul. Judging a person's soul is the sole jurisdiction of God.

Don't get pressured. Just keep on seeking God's words and continue to pray. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Videos like these is a great way to opening yourselves to the teachings of the Bible. A local Church or community will also help out a lot.
That's the thing about repentance, it's not instant. Repentance is a continuous thing, something that you work for every day until the day you die. Just keep at it and always pray for Holy Spirit to strengthen you each day, God bless you.

What @YosafatNugraha said is correct. But also the Bible says to come BOLDLY before the throne of grace for mercy (Hebrews 4:16). You have to understand that being born again, you are now CHILD of GOD and considering how a human good father would give their child food when they ask for it (and not a snake or a stone), how much more the GOOD GOD who even came down and DIED just for you.
Look at the parable Jesus told about the prodigal son. Notice how even after the son went away and did away with the Father's money foolishly, they had the CONFIDENCE that their Father was good enough to even accept him back as a slave. He was confident in the goodness and mercy of his Father. Not to talk of how it actually turned out, where the son ended up receiving goods and a party for his return.
Your Father is THE Good GOD of The Universe.
Like @YosafatNugraha said repentance is continuous, it is not just saying sorry. It is CHANGE following that, the change in behaviour and mind in attempt to align with GOD. It can be little by little. But know, and have confidence, that your FATHER is there for you and that he will ALWAYS accept you should you come humbly before him in repentance.

The Bible takes forever to read front to back. It is up to 100 hours long in audiobook format. There is no way a Muslim woman would have invested that amount of time into reading something she didn't beleive.

Not judging people does not mean don't attempt to find the truth, it means don't set up a wall between yourself and others because of their mistakes, and also be aware that you yourself have many mistakes, also in your image of God. Each are on their own path, but ideally those paths intertwine.
Also Jesus said i forgive your sins go sin no more. Only God can forgivd sins so he said that hes God and he is the Almighty God

This is not a command "not to judge" It is instructions on how to judge correctly.
At times I think that people just confuse themselves uncecassarily,God is inside each and everyone of us we need not to search too far keep looking for him within you and you will find him.Its that easy
Everyday someone is telling somebody, “If you drink, you get drunk.” “If you over eat, you’ll get fat and die.” If you rob a bank, you’ll get caught and go to jail.” No one is judging anyone when they say, “When you sin, you’ll rot in hell.” It’s a warning. Not judgment.
The best argument for the last kid is if everything is subjective and equally valid than someone saying you are wrong would directly contradict that, we can't both be equally right if i directly contradict you, moral relativism swallows its own tail.
It depends on what context you're talking about. The instructions on do not judge is about judging a person response to something that they went through. Like, you'd say, how can they do that, I would never respond that way.
But as far as our beliefs, the Bible says to judge ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD
Even with my lack of good education and even my lack of pursuing to fix Completely or mostly that problem. That I still learned the differences of Honestly and correctly judging. Compared to being judgemental. Which is incorrect use of judging. And if we look at the scriptures, it doesn't simply say, "not to judge." It says, not to be judging incorrectly And not to judge others in a way that we shouldn't & thus don't want to be judged. If we actualy Honestly and sincerely and completely read the whole verses of scripture. That are talking about this Idea, of judging and miss judging.
And not judging in arrogance, in assumptions. To not be
doing it in self-righteousness, in arrogance,
in false self importance. Since we are all guilty before God. Especially since we all need his salvation redemption price paid for us all In our faults. Especially the willful ones. The ones we make excuses and reasons for.
So let's stop rejecting him and his great gift to us. And turn to Him, Completely and without reserve. To help us to repent. And thus to change our hearts and minds and our actions, throughout each and every day. And first and foremost to trust in Him, And the price he paid when he stood in our place.
Of guilt. To be our salvation, And that it has nothing to do with our good works.

I believe that in Corinthians it explains how God might save others by the implication of baptism for those who died without knowing him. Even the Catholic church had a baptismal font in Milan Italy and for decades, until recently it had a bronze plaque on it that this baptismal font was set aside for baptizing people in the name of those who had died without learning of Christ but the Catholics have forgotten that. What baptism for the dead is a valid practice, so that no one will lose the blessings of returning to the heavens.

We are ABSOLUTELY ALLOWEDto judge people. We are just not to do it from a place of sin but a place of love and moral correctness that originates from what the Father has taught in the Bible.
It's not him saying that you're going to go to hell it just is it's like walking outside and looking at the sky it's there
I used to struggle with the why did Jesus have to come to this Earth and die, and resurrect. I was like why couldn’t our Father just do something like he did with Moses when he gave him the Ten Commandments. I believe in Jesus but I struggled with the Why part.
Here’s what I’ve learned (and some of it I knew).
God, our Father, is INFINITE. We, in our dirt/meat suits with our dirt braids CANNOT comprehend how infinite and big our Creator is. So, in the beginning, I believe even before Creation, the Father created an “image” for himself. That image is Jesus. And when he created Mankind, we are made in Jesus’s likeness.
The Father is all knowing; can see any point in our time line and existence.
I believe it was Job who told God that he (God) did not want what it was like to be human. God already planned this, but that’s another point.
When Jesus came to Earth…he emptied himself so he could be human. When Jesus walked this Earth, he prayed to the Father, was guided by the Holy Spirit… and I think he knew some things and some were revealed later. Also, he’s quoting the Old Testament in some of the things he says. For many years, I didn’t realize he was quoting the OT when he was on the cross and said Father why have you forsaken me? At face value one might see that Jesus feels God has forsaken him but he’s quoting Scripture.
Jesus came to make a new covenant with mankind. He took on ALL of the sins of every human in all existence. He felt that pain on the cross (as well as the physical pain). He ALSO took on the wrath of God, so we don’t have to.
He bought and paid for us with his sacrifice.
Before Jesus, the Jews would do animal sacrifices to atone for their sins.
Jesus was the blood sacrifice required for not just the Jews, but for all Gentiles as well.
He told us that whosoever believes in Jesus as the Messiah will be saved.
When I’ve gotten on my knees and poured out my heart to God, confessing all my sins and seeking forgiveness, and repenting from them, there is such a great feeling of Love and peace.
Of course I’m human and fail everyday. But Jesus is right there with me. There IS Life after death. We are spirits who continue on (matter is not created nor destroyed, it simply changes).
There IS an afterlife. I’ve suffered from physical pain my entire life. I look forward to when I will be in Heaven with my creator who loves me…so much so he thought about me when he was creating me, and knows how many hairs are on my head.
He has saved my life on Numerous occasions.
I had an accidental overdose in high school and all I’ll say is, I SHOULD HAVE died. When I woke the next morning, I was angry, then immediately remorseful. Right then, I supernaturally saw my funeral and PHYSICALLY FELT my parents pain, which caused me to sob. I promised God I’d never harm myself and I’ve kept that promise. I’ve had other experiences, but there is more to life.

I'm not Jewish, but having read the whole Bible, I know the power and meaning behind Christ saying, "I am." It was His claim of being God.
People don’t know what freedom really means. To some freedom is just I can do whatever I want and no one SHOULD stop me because I want it. And the last kid was a proof of this, and there are still millions who think the exact same. And this is not just a problem in the US, where freedom is emphasized, but sadly many who don’t believe in God in the world. That’s not freedom, that’s disorder. There’s so much to say on this, but I sincerely pray for that young man. Like Cliffe said, that young man doesn’t believe what he said himself, he just was in his pride and simply was there to “prove people wrong” by throwing some invalid statements.
People were so much more intelligent back then. I swear it isn’t just me.

The greatest evidence for me to why I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is God, is that He promised to send the Holy Spirit to those who would believe in Him. Well he actual did do that for me, I encountered the Holy Spirit, when I got water baptised. Afterwards I spoke in an unknown language for three days and I couldn't stop. Then shortly after that I had a massive strong urge to read the word of God and I devoured it ever since I've become a believer. Scripture also says that the Holy Spirit bears witness to to our spirit that we are God's Children. That is also absolutely true. I know this because I can feel His manifest presence of the Holy Spirit in my own spirit, on a daily basis, which convinces me more than anything that God is Real. And Jesus proved himself to me that he was and is faithful to his written word. Many times in my life since I've come to believe in him. Therefore, as Jesus said the Holy Spirit within my spirit would bear witness to me that I am a child of the living God. That to me is the strongest evidence I have for belief in Jesus Christ that is his manifest presence in my life. There's no greater thing that convinces of Jesus Christ than my encounters I've had with His Spirit, I wish I had the time to share all what i've experienced with him for many many years. I can go on and share stories for days on end. Anywho, I promise anyone of you, If you seek God with all Your Heart you will find him, that I promise to you, that I promise you..
You can tell this is a different time. No protest and open hatred for Christians.
How do we know if we are doing God's will and not our own and how do we determine if we are serving God with our skill/talent?

Right there it says that God is the Lord.

I was shot at a distance of less than 8 feet and was only bruised. The shooter's accomplice had to see my "wound" up close. The two of them stumbled over each other with trembling and fear to get away. Had the gun merely misfired, the shooter would likely have taken another shot. He did not.
Every one of us deserves hell. Not a single person walking this earth, save Jesus Christ, was ever without sin, will ever be without sin. If God sent every one of us to hell, he would have been just.
Only those that are saved by the doing and dying of Jesus Christ, with Him living the perfect life that we ought, and paying the price we deserve to pay, in our place... only those are saved, and escape hell.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life ❤🎉
