I actually been using Il Makiage foundation/concealer/primer/eye shadows/mascara/and lip liner for about 3 years. I’ll say that this company has “hands down” the BEST customer service and response time in any brand I’ve ever communicated with. They literally give me $25 dollar e-gift cards just for filling out a simple review in my own words, also any time I’ve had an issue they send me a new product PLUS another e-gift card of $20 or $25 dollars 😳🙌
I do enjoy the concealer the most, and the liners

I caved in and bought the foundation. It was a great match at first but started to oxidize a bit into a slightly darker shade. I sort of made a comment on their Facebook page and they are sending a replacement… for free. So whether you like or don’t like their product, can’t complain about customer support. I also got their concealer - meh… a bit too light and it’s just ok, in my opinion. They also sent an eyeliner as a gift - it goes one nicely but has weak staying power but that’s normal for me. Very few eyeliners don’t smudge. Actually all smudge but one kind - believe it or not, from Shien, their colour crush line; that one stays on all day! That’s my experience :)
If you use liquid liner try nyx epic liner. It’s brill!

I'm 67yrs old with dry skin. I took quiz and I'm #35. I 1st primed, then I used their brush I received for free, and it looks incredible! I, love it!! I also bought the concealer in same color, but, it would not open! I twisted, pulled. Nope, not coming off. I got in touch with customer service and they sent another without sending back the other. I love both! I kept seeing it on Instagram. 👍👍

I have their white tube mascara and I like it a lot. Its more of a comb than the traditional wand. Really good for separating and lengthening. It was given to me from an Ipsy bag but I really enjoyed it.

I have the Il Makiage Afterparty Foundation in #40 and it's my HG! The concealer is very nice too! And yes, I saw the ads all over social media and bought it finally, and I'm in the US, lol! 😊💖💄

that orange toned bronzer/blush looks so beautiful on you. I wish I could get away with that sort of shade as I love orange blush but I have to lean on the peach side of orange with blush cause i'm so fair, i can't really get away with bronzer so everything is just blush or contour for me

I think it looks really beautiful on your face. The purple lips was nice, just not used to seeing you wearing bright lipstick though. I was just thinking. Why have a never seen any of my favourite makeup channels trying out Lancome makeup ?. I know it can be a bit on the expensive side but I think their makeup and skin treatment are so beautiful. I also love La Vie est Belle perfume so much. I was always a Chanel Mademoiselle until I got the Lancome perfume xx

You have got to try their colorshock shadows, and matte lipsticks they dry down don't move and dry so light I always forget I have it on

Loved this testing video 💕 I brought the Carli Bybel collab palette, lipstick and lip liner. The lipstick is in my top 3 faves!
I own a lot of charlotte tilbury stuff (the eyeshadow palettes, blush, lipsticks, mascara and the powder) , the packaging is pretty to look at, but it's extremely light weight and kinda feel cheap for the price tag, same thing with Nars. Too faced's better than sex mascara, it's sooooo weighted so it feels expensive. il makiage price tags are up but at least both formula and packaging aren't cheap.

I’m fair skinned and tried 2 different shades in this foundation. I found that even the cool toned fair shades were soooo yellow. I also didn’t find it to be as full coverage as they claimed and it didn’t wear super well on me. I will say their customer service is great though and I got a full refund. So it’s worth a try if you’re curious but I couldn’t personally recommend it.
What did you do with the product? Did you have to ship it back? Did it cost anything extra?

@@villainouslips !!!! That is so awesome! Did you buy based in the US? I took the test but didn’t wanna commit to buying it until I read and watched non-sponsored reviews. I got nonstop emails and now I think I actually have to commit 😂 I haven’t worn foundation consistently for years since nothing ever looks good.

It does change. I have it and it's amazing . The directions say to wait at least 5 minutes before you continue your makeup so it can do what it has to do. Highly recommend them

I must be the only one, but I don't like it when products are overly heavy. It always surprises me why people associate heavy with luxury. Why is that? I don't want cheap flimsy stuff, but I also don't want to do my make up and feel like I've been lifting weights. Really don't understand the general lust for products being heavy.

I think it’s more that heavy products or whatever are more well made. If you’re paying decent money for something, you don’t want it to be in crappy packaging that gets damaged easily. It’s all part of the image too I guess. I wouldn’t pay $60 for a palette that looked like a plastic ELF packaging. You sort of want that bang for your buck and also something that feels substantial and well made. I hope that kinda makes sense. It’s almost like Jeffree Star and his products. The packaging is a bit OTT as well as his prices, but the packaging is well thought out and looks great. I have a friend who loves his palettes but finds them difficult to travel with so she de-pots all of them…but she keeps the packaging due to how it looks. So I kinda get it but I agree, it can be a pain in the arse!
this video made me try my il makiage foundation again after having it for so long. i was quite disappointed back then. but after giving it another try i am not that mad anymore 😅 not the best foundation i own BUT it seems to look better now 🤔 or i did it better maybe

I got this from a Facebook ad like a year ago and the questionnaire gave me the perfect match! Didn't buy it again though because it was a little too expensive for me 😂. Also, it lasted quite well on my skin even though its oily af

Hello! I tried Il Makiage (shade 035) and it dried down to a good colour match, the formula did not work on my 61 year old skin. I tried every combination of moisturizer, primer and setting spray and it never looked any better than cakey and only lasted with setting spray. From what I can gather from product reviews from RUclips beauty content providers it really doesn't work for older women, but women under 40 seem to have a very positive experience. I did love the packaging though, but the foundation worked only passably well with a lot of effort on my older combination skin.

I can relate to the cat hair thing. One of my cats can always sense when I put a lip balm or gloss on and he body slams himself against my face. I'll end up finding random cat hairs for days.

The foundation colour I was matched with wasn’t quite right and the formula wasn’t great for my skin, so I returned it for a full refund. I was then sent a £40 voucher to say sorry it hadn’t worked me me! Bought the black card mascara which is awesome!

I bought this after watching the ads only I got the bottle with the pump in the squeeze tube. Very matte, full coverage, but DAMN ITS BULLET PROOF. Like I went swimming and looked in the mirror and my face was still covered… FULLY!!! I do have to work quickly with it but maybe I should switch and try this foundation from them instead. Cause I took the test too but got sent the “After Party” foundation. It has no shine like this one but DAMN you look freaking flawless after application. I def have to use setting spray because it can get dry but I’m so happy I found something that I can be DRENCHED in sweat, go swimming, whatever you want and the sweat just beads up and rolls down the face and the foundation just idk how the heck they do it but one word is … BULLETPROOF lmao
What shade foundation do you using?
The products are nice, but for personal preference if I'm going to pay those prices I'd rather spend it on charlotte tilbury.
I do think you can get just as nice makeup for cheaper, but the makeup looks good! ❤
