I was in Stockholm for five days in 2017. It was a great experience. So many wonderful parks, museums, palaces, and cathedrals. The architecture is very unique. There was just so much to see and do. A great blend of city life and nature too. I think its one of the best European capitals. Very chill atmosphere.
I feel guilty living here, in Stockholm! Words can’t describe how much i love being here in the summertime, spending my day with my wonderful friends! :)
WOW Martijn. Good Job! hartlijken Dank. Being a former Stockholm Tourguide and a Stockholmer, I must say that this was one of the best, under ten min. introduction to the city I have seen! Welcome Back to the Venice of the North.'
This is the third video by you that I have watched, the other two being Copenhagen and Helsinki. I am visiting those places next week and you have been a big help, thank you and keep up the good work!
Good suggestions overall, but the easiest way to buy tickets its just to blip your contactless card on buses and gates to the metro, much faster than downloading an app.
I'm visiting Stockholm in first two weeks of April! Fingers-crossed that the weather will not be too cold or rainy. 😅 Can't wait to vlog about this trip and share my travel experiences... thanks for this helpful video!
Hey Martijn. I love your videos they are very cool. When you spend some time in stockholm, do you know some of the best food trucks we can get lunch and is affordable. Please let me know
Thanks a lot. It’s difficult because I don’t mention restaurants and bars. What I can remember is that food and mainly alcohol are really expensive. Maybe you can check a foodcord which in the shopping area for a small lunch.
The majority of the houses in the old town are definitively not 18th and 19th century. Most of them are restored with 19th century facades but very, very few are actually built in the 19th century. Where you're standing talking for instance there's one from the 18th century one from the 15th century and ten from the 17th century. The 17th century houses are probably close to as common as all the 13th-16th and the 18th-20th century combined.
Finally a good Stockholm travel guide!
Thanks 🙏
@@MartijnAroundTheWorld Go to Stockholm City Museum. Ground floor looks at the maps. They promote CCP propaganda there😅

Hello, can I pay in Euro in Stockholm? (train/bus tickets, restaurants, museums etc). Thank you!
No you have to pat with the Swedish crown.
No, but notice that we are almost totally cash-less. Use your debit/credit-card (with 4 digit pin) for everything.
very good work. How about working together? I have a similar one here :)
Is there any Nepelese people in northern Ireland??

SL commute can I use the same card in Stockholm and Gothenburg ?
That is a good question. Maybe a local can answer this?
No, two diffent towns with diffent systems.
gosh he looks like a 90’s to presenter called Matthew Kelly
Yes! And the 90’s are totally back 🤩
An SL day card is 40 SEK, not 40 Euros
Where do you hear that? I mention 3,40 euro which is around 40 sek.
Hello
Perhaps show less museums?
It’s expensive city
That’s correct but on the other hand it is charming city
