I went to Stockholm. At first I didn't like it, but it grew on me and eventually I felt a connection. (I wonder what number I am of people who've made this joke, maybe the millionth.)
Stockholm boasts a diverse range of dining options, from traditional Swedish cuisine to innovative international options. The city is also known for its cafes and pastry shops, making it a delightful place for food lovers.
Stockholm is known for its high quality of life, with a mix of urban and natural environments. The city's parks, waterfronts, and recreational areas offer a balance of city living and outdoor activities.
Swede here. I can't stress this enough to tourists. If you plan to visit, please come in the summer months of june, july and august. Unless you want a cold, rainy, dark depressing experience. Sweden in summer is a completely different country to winter Sweden. Everything is open, people are happy, the city is green with trees, sun is warm. Everything is so much better. I really feel that people coming in winter are missing out and do not get the full experience if this country.
I’ve been to Stockholm last week and yea it was rainy and windy but it was also sunny and nice. I loved the vibe of the city, want to explore more of the Sweden in the future
"I love Stockholm for its stunning archipelago views, Göteborg for its quirky charm and delicious shrimp sandwiches, and Norrland for reminding me that even in the cold, there’s a warm place in my heart for frozen lakes and endless forest adventures! It's like having three fabulous Swedish friends-each one wonderfully unique but all equally enchanting!"
Fantastic! There was constant traffic overhead. I always wondered why there wasn't a regular seaplane service like so many other "archipelago-based" cities.
Stockholm's nightlife is bustling, with a wide range of bars, clubs, and entertainment options. Whether you prefer a laid-back pub atmosphere or a lively dance club, Stockholm has something for everyone.
I love Stockholm. Food, Everything. You said something to me that sounds like....Beauty & Sadism with the generation before,World. 💜Play fair and no need to conquer. The Beauty of Stockholm.
Thanks for posting this video! Also pleased to see that you are travelling again! Keep up the good work. Your Tokyo and Osaka video's served me well on my visit. Just wish you had one for Seoul!!!
Stockholm has been on my list of places to visit for a while. Been waiting for you to do an episode on it! (Also, I’ll be headed to Iceland in May - enjoyed that episode as well)
Great show as always! Thank you again for producing great content. Your Copenhagen video was really useful when we went there last year. We re hoping to go to Stockholm later in this year.
@Attaché I tried the wrap from Matteus today. It's delicious. My husband tried the vegetarian version and loved it. Matteus' son and grandchild were there as well. We had a photo together and nice chat. Lovely people and food. Thank you for the recommendation. 🌯💜
Wonderful as usual. Hope you get to visit Kyoto Japan as I think you'd really enjoy that city. Loved your Osaka and Tokyo videos and think you could do Kyoto the justice it deserves.
Thanks for the video. I'm travelling to Stockholm myself in 4 months so I am trying to find out as much about it so it's not such a daunting experience when I get there.
Nope! We used to do that in our early episodes but the data is almost instantly out of date. So we give the prices in the local currency so you can then google the exchange rate to your local currency to get a sense of how expensive things are relative to where you live.
I'm headed to Stockholm in July for vacation. However, 99% of the videos on Stockholm are people visiting the city in the dead of winter, which to a Texan sounds miserable.
Do you get charged for using a debit card? When I was in Denmark a lot of places encouraged card payment.. later I discovered a small fee on each one, which soon added up.
As someone from a tropical country like the Philippines, I would love to both visit and live in Sweden someday because I love cold climate and temperature. ❤❤

As someone who has lived in Stockholm I must say that you managed to cover a lot of the essentials related to food. Well done!
Thank you! 😃 Glad we got it right, that's a big deal to me.

As a Swede i couldn't agree more.

Agree. Lived in Stockholm for 8 years. Loved summer, but i really suffered in winter.

Brilliant Alex - your grandpa used to take your Dad and I to Bromma to watch the aeroplanes. I can vaguely remember sitting in the cockpit of a DC6!.
Fantastic! There was constant traffic overhead. I always wondered why there wasn't a regular seaplane service like so many other "archipelago-based" cities.
@@attachetravel I've taken care of that flying a Beaver floatplane out to the island of Lidingo (where we used to live) on MS Flight Sim 2020!
Thanks for covering a good chunk of the essentials of Stockholm. Wish for another episode based on the summer months
Glad we got the essentials down! I'm very keen to return in the summer months.
"Everybody loves a good bridge" That they do Alex! Loved this episode 😊
Thanks so much! And yeah, bridges are great!
My dream travel destination.
It's beautiful, you'll love it.

Stockholm looks amazing
Excellent video as always! You always manage to cover details and traditions that no other visitor would observe.
Thank you very much!
Wow, lovely film of my hometown. Love your reaction on the tunnbrödrulle 😎
Thanks! Tunnbrödrulle changed my life.
I love Stockholm. Food, Everything. You said something to me that sounds like....Beauty & Sadism with the generation before,World. 💜Play fair and no need to conquer. The Beauty of Stockholm.

I never had a closer glimpse at what Stockholm really looked like until Attache' guy showed up lol🥰🥰... Great vid man!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed!
Love the channel and videos, keep it up!

Wow! This was really well done. Enjoyed every minute of it.
That's really kind, thank you!
Thanks for the great video! Stockholm is now one of my very favorite cities.
Thanks! Will be there next week!

This time I'm watching with a fish finger sandwich. Lovely stuff. Great work as always !
Ha. I'm loving these food updates.
Thank you for you video! This is incredible...I love that! 😍😍
Thanks so much, glad you like it!
Wonderful work as always, team!
Thank you, sir!
Nice video man! Really covered some good food spots in Stockholm! 🤩🤩
Great video, as usual! Looks like I need an excuse to visit Stockholm now! But no mention of the 747 hotel at Arlanda? 😅
Definitely worth a trip! I saw the 747 but it kinda broke my heart. I'm sure we'll discuss on the next Layovers.
Many happy memories of Stockholm
Great show as always! Thank you again for producing great content. Your Copenhagen video was really useful when we went there last year. We re hoping to go to Stockholm later in this year.

Your video encourages me to discover more of Stockholm…I’ve only been there for 8 hours waiting for a connecting flight at Arlanda😮
Stockholm certainly looks great
For those wondering, 1 Krona is about 10¢ U.S. So just move the decimal point one spot left and you'll be pretty close (100 kr ≈ 10 dollars)
That's really helpful, thank you!
@@attachetravel As you mentioned in a previous video, exchange rates change all the time, so you stopped doing that :)
Off to Stockholm this weekend with my family. Just discovered your channel - great video!
Well how was it?
@@Potatwielder Awesome!

Great video! It was very helpful! I’m going in September!
Come to Leeds!
Also, do the other 4 boroughs of NYC!
Leeds featured very briefly in an Attaché Travels episode a while back. I need to get back there. And yes, we definitely need to do more NYC.
What a lovely video thank you!
👍🏻🇬🇧 Brilliant Content as always
Much appreciated!
Beautiful video 😍
Thank you!
I feel you're missing out on a new series - "Send Alex Somewhere Cold!"
Netflix presents....
Dude, guys, come back to Singapore. Do Singapore again.
Love Singapore, very keen to get out there again soon.
Nice video!!
What else you do apart from making videos?
www.alexhunter.org 🙂
As a swede i can tell you that he was not eating surströmming but just ordinary herring with potato pure 😊witch is very good by the way😛
which camera and lenses has you used?
Great video, looking forward to my trip even more so now. Does the SL card for 72 hours allow travel from Stockholm central to Arlanda?
It does not, no. That's one of the few drawbacks.
I dont know what to do in Stockholm now.
Did wasabi museum and arcipelago ribbot.
Tunnbröd rulle är en klassisk lunch
Stekt Strömming is one of many reasons to live
Could you convert the currency to Euro/dollars in future videos? Would be helpful when trying to judge how expensive/cheap the prices you mention are
Nope! We used to do that in our early episodes but the data is almost instantly out of date. So we give the prices in the local currency so you can then google the exchange rate to your local currency to get a sense of how expensive things are relative to where you live.

And internet is good good good, yes yes yes . . .
No cash! That’s removed from my bucket list😩
How come?
I'm headed to Stockholm in July for vacation. However, 99% of the videos on Stockholm are people visiting the city in the dead of winter, which to a Texan sounds miserable.
Stockholm is 100x times better in the summer! its a totally different city during the summer.
In the winter Stockholm is just depression.

That’s interesting. Was it a charge from your bank or from the retailer?

Fika is religion almost in Sweden 😇
Big fan of no cash ? Bit weird tbh! Want the government to have even more control over you ? Big no from me!! Love the rest of the vid though
What does paying with a credit card have to do with government controling you in any way?
@@martinc.720 He must be a believer of the "social credit" or something like that.
11:00 Sweden is not cashless, I use cash almost everyday. Don't know why you are "a big fan" of a totalitarian big brother society...
