Wonderful! The whole video was amazing. The last part with Arnie had me tears for 20 minutes. Wish I could have known him. However the whole film about the "cowboys" had my full attention. A tribute to them all!!!
I watch from Africa.what happened to Arnie.
RIP Arnie you are loved by so many ice pilots fans!
Rest in peace Arine, watch over those boys from above, what a nice guy!!!
“Hold on to your hats boys…” man that will stuck forever
Rest in power Arnie
Been a Pilot for 44 years and I am impressed with this episode. Not only did he Bust a Dam He Busted Heaven Wide Open. May God Bless everyone and keep this World Safe.
The passing of Arnie is a reminder for me that the world is gradually lossing the original DC-3 and C-47 pilots who were trained back in the years when those planes were the main planes of transport. As the good old WWII heroic general MacArthur said on his final speech leaving the military, "Old soldiers never die, the just simply fade away!" Rest in ethernal peace Arnei and you will always be remembered!
A great man We followed him and ICE PILOTS for years he became part of the family ,, rest in piece ARNIE
After watching this show for so many years this has been like sitting in on a real memorial to a real friend....Arnie had become
my real friend RIP ARNIE!
Really felt the same
One of the best episodes of any show ever! RIP Arnie.
Literally had tears when Justin put the headset on Arnie 🥲
Arnie is exactly the type of person who exemplifies true professionalism and competence and leadership in a cockpit. Sorry I never got to fly with him.
Rest in Peace, Chief-Pilot!
Kelly and Arnie both are watching over Buffalo Airlines from the sky. RIP to my 2 favorite people in the show.
Wow, I didn't know the passing of someone you've never met or known could affect me so much, but it was how he left such an impression on others, and the great dignity with which Buffalo accorded and honoured him that made me in tears. Not very often these days do you feel like saying those are "good people", but everyone you saw during the last half of the show sure made you feel that there are some still left.
Agreed, I definitely teared up a bit, so sad but what a great life he had.
Yep...tears here too.
…AND here.
My screen went blurry for about the last half of the episode.
Even its already years ago, Arny left us...and fly in to Eternity...i still shed some tears again. In the meanwhile...Kelly did past away to, i hope they found eachother on the other side again and continue theyre amazing friendship.
Never knew his voice was the one behind "hang on to your hats boys"
He was a great pilot and instructor.
Rest in peace Arnie
Just started binging the series. Arnie was an exceptional pilot and person. Although he is gone from this world, he will forever be alive to those of us who can watch him over and over again. A great tribute to a great guy.
Chris 👋
I was crying during the entire video bc of how sad this was. Everyone at Buffalo had great times and historic moments throughout his career. I’m sure this was such a sad day for Buffalo Airways, his friends, and family. RIP Arnie.
Just watching now in Australia got tears down the cheeks here too mate
I was hoping that I wasn’t the only one in this predicament. I feel like this was my family.
@@mrtricks251 yeah, same here. 😢
This was an incredible tribute to Arnie. Rest In Peace Arnie
Losing Arnie was a big lost for not only to the ice pilots, but also the Aviation community 🛩💔. RIP Arnie
When Arnie’s memorial service in the hanger started, I just started BALLING and the tears are still coming… I may not have known him, but I felt like I did from watching this show. I send much needed hugs and my condolences to his family and friends! 😭 A LEGEND was sent off in style! I lost a WWII Bombbader great uncle, and I hope he’s flying with Arnie now…
Sad....but one of the best shows I saw! Tears rolled down! RIP Arnie!
Arnie, he was one of my flying heroes.
My condolances to his family, and everyone that knew him..
An engine is the heart of the airplane but the pilot is the soul, and Arnie was an inspiration to the whole fleet. Truly an amazing individual you earned your wings old buddy! And hat's off to the young cats that had the opportunity to sit beside him in that cockpit what a privilege.
My condolences to the family and the Buffalo Airways Group.
He is the new chief pilot of HEAVEN AIRWAYS. REST IN PEACE BROTHER.
So sorry for the loss he was an amazing man!
I watched the full 9+ hours 'binge-watch' of the full Season 1 just the other day. Never seen it before and today, this was recommended to me. Made me sad but I also felt the love these people all had for Arnie. How cool that would be to have so many people whose lives you have touched and to honor you in such a humbling way. It gives me pause as my wife and I both are in our golden years and we live and love each day as though they were our last.
My granddad was a pilot of a DC-3 (modified and called a C-47 in the Army Air Force) while he served in the great World War 2 and I was recently gifted with his flight training books and materials. My granddad loved the DC-3 and I remember my uncle telling me how granddad said how tough of a plane it was. My granddad died a few months after retiring in the 1970s when I was 6 and I always imagined him flying his DC-3 and teaching angels how to fly (like kids seem to do) and I guess there's another plane in the flight now. I barely knew my granddad, but I'd like to think he was a lot like Arnie. Whenever I look at those flight books, I'll remember Arnie.
By far one of my favorites in the years I have watched. Arnie will be missed. He lived his life to the fullest from what I have seen on here.
Mikey has a RUclips channel where they still post current buffalo content under Mikey Mcbryan or Mcbryan media
I send my condolences to Arnie's family. Everyone at Buffalo was his family and I know he was loved dearly. ❤
Mr. Schrader died several years ago. These videos are not new at all.
@@robertharris7027 I know, but it still hurts those he was close with
He passed years ago , the video is the only thing here that was posted several hours ago .
I am debate
I don't believe that arny is dead😱😱😱😱😱😱
RIP Arnie you were amazing loved seeing you in the show
Arnie most assuredly was one of the Greatest Generation, not ONLY those that were part of that conflict, but also one of those pilots that will continue to inspire future pilots for generations! Salute!
Rest In Peace also Big Hearted Kelly.....🙏🙏🙏
I am so sorry ! My condolences for the family and friends! Tears rolled down
Read about Arnie's several years back, but this was the first time I got to see his memorial service. What a fitting tribute for such a great friend, teacher & pilot. He lived aviation as I had often dreamt to live it!
Please pass on my sincere condolences to Arnie's family and all his friends everywhere, he will be missed but never forgotten.
Watching my favourite show from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
I get the Buffalo family, after watching every episode, your loyal viewers also get the sense of loss, we watch your trials and tribulations on the edge of our seats sometimes, every star of the show becomes like a friend, don’t mind saying got a few tears on the cheek at the moment.
RIP Arnie - clear skies and a tail wind mate.
Condolences to all of Arnies family - related or buffalo related you will be missed.
I send my condolences to Arnie's family. Everyone at Buffalo was his family and I know he was loved dearly. He's a true ice-cold pilot legend may he rest in peace flying in the skies.
You CAN do anything you PUT your mind to IF you have THE RIGHT instructor. I am forty-eight years old, and I fought the hell out of that saying until three years ago, when a rock climbing mentor made my breakthrough on math.
Thank you Arnie, for putting some fantastic pilots up there.
Condolences to Buffalo
Such a touching tribute to the man. I watched the TV show for years and Arnie was by far my favorite. The world sure did lose a good one.
WOW !!! Very nice and very emotional episode. 😎👍 🇨🇦
Even though it was 10 years ago and i never knew Arnie I feel sad. One of the good guys on the planet.
The first time I saw Ernie, I felt a connection. I could tell this Man had led a life that not many people are capable of leading. I thank him for his service and contributions to all of Us. He will be missed.
Man that sucks! Arnie was such a great guy and an epic pilot... RIP dude. You were an absolute boss of the skies!
A spectacular pilot! And wonderful human being.
Wow I watched the news about Arnie years ago when it happened, It bothered me bad back then when the world that never met him in person lost a great guy. For some reason i hadn't watched the show for years and came across this video. His loss still bothers me exactly like it did when it happened. Hope you're still resting in peace Arnie, your loss is still affecting many people world wide to this day.
Been watching the whole series and Arnie. He spread his wings and soared like an Eagle. Love that this on record for his family and friends to rewatch and enjoy. RIP A
That’s truly awesome that the other airlines paid their respects with a tribute flight to Arnie.
RIP ARNIE A TRULY WONDERFUL PILOT AND HUMAN BEING.
A great tribute and send off to a top pilot and a wonderful man, not too many like him in the world today. Of all the sessions I watched on TV, the Dam Busters recreation was epic, and has stayed in my mind all these years. Buffalo Airways your send off of Arnie was the best. Thank you for honouring Arnie in the way he wanted on his last flight to join the other top pilots. This episode came as a shock, very sad, and yes, not a dry eye. Fly with the Angels, Arnie. Greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🦘
Our Deepest Condolences to his Family may he RIP
Just finished watching this wonderful legacy trubute that flew the northern skies. Arnie was a wonderful pilot throughout the TV series he was in and I greatly admire his tremendous skills both as a pilot but also a mentor to those he taught following in his footsteps. R.I.P Arnie

I guess no legacy in the world compares to having someone shed loving tears behind your back. R.I.P Arnie
I cried just lost a friend at our DAV POST (DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS) 86 in Palm Coast Florida. What a great way to honor Ernie
I teared up and I don't know him... we can feel the love of those people. Love to his family and friends.
What an awesome send off by scattering his ashes were he would like his final resting area to be. Watched many of the shows and I was inspired by his flying skills. He will truly be missed.

My condolences to the family and friends of Arnie. Shed a tear for him. Loved watching him from here in Kenya. Will forever miss him. May he rest easy.
I never met you, but I knew you more than some that I've met. RIP legend.
This was the best episode of any reality tv show on air. You guy's did Arnne proud. Mikey, Joe and Kelly. Goes without saying that I have his family in my prayers. Never even met the guy but have been made aware that he is a REALLY GOOD FRIEND to many.
Strength and honor to Arnie RIP Sir you will fly on a better place now 🫡
Where ya from ?
I’m not a very emotional person, but this really got to me. When you have seen series after series, you can’t help but be emotionally involved. God bless Arnie, and his family and friends.
When I think of Buffalo the first thing I think of is Arnie . RIP Chief pilot !!
Sad story of the Loss of both the great Electra airplane and a great friend and the chief pilot is one receipt for a deeply sad story...
Condolences to Arnie's family and the Buffalo family. Wonderful tribute to him. Well done everyone.
I just found this out, He was the best trainer for the young guys they had I thought and an exceptional pilot. Watching him fly and land those planes in tough conditions was always a joy. I have been watching the show since day 1. I think Joe is an amazing pilot also and you could tell they had a lot of respect for each other. I was at work about a year ago and I saw a 4 engine plane coming in for a landing near our local airport, I think it was a DC-4. It was so awesome to see one in person.
You're channel is absolutely incredible!! @Wonder. I'm a truck driver and this channel will make a 10 hr trip feel like 2hrs. Thank you for all that you do!
We've lost a great person.. 😭😭
I balled my eyes out in 2012 and i balled my eyes out again tonight.
RIP Arnie
SAD day. My condolences to his family...
What a very touching episode! You will be missed but never forgotten! RIP Arnie!
Had me crying like a baby. Great send off for a great aviator.

Longtime viewer; there are old pilots and there are bold pilots. Rarely are there OLD and BOLD pilots. Respect to Ray

Arnie was my legend and couldn't have imagined that he's no more RIP!!! LEGEND
One of the best yet-you feel part of the family even though you just watch.
Wow, what a great episode. A wonderful tribute to a wonderful man, a great pilot. Thanks. Long live Buffalo Airways and its people.

This is so sad! I’m glad no one got hurt! 😭😭😭
RIP,Arnie so sad he seemed like a really nice guy. God bless.
A giant among Canada's best pilots! RIP!
God rest his soul. I watched ice pilots meltdown, and cried. He was a good man.
The kind of funerals he got says a lot about how highly he was regarded by everyone around him. Who gets a fly by these days?
condolences to Arnie's family. Everyone at Buffalo he will be missed ,,R.I.P. Arnie 🛫☹❤
That's awesome ❤️ Atleast he got to do what he loved until the end thanks to you all🙏
It was sad he was one of the greats. My father was a pilot and I got to fly with him most of my younger years i soloed at 16 with 1.5 hr.s in the air with a instructor at 16 but my uncle let me take his plain up at 13 by myself. My father had a picture of it and didn't know it was me For a while. But I had dyslexia and couldn't read so I couldn't pass the test to get my license. So I couldn't become a pilot like he was but he was a great guy and I really liked this show with him in it. Definitely a sad show.
I am glad that when it counted, Joe was willing to make peace and show the respect he has for Arnie.
God bless him & the family & friends left behind.
Rest in peace Arnie.Watched your ahows from South Island in New Zealand. Will miss you.
I am so sorry for your losses........What a legend, What a tribute. R.I.P. Arnie....I will miss you.
