      Is it possible to finish this in a month? I have a tech sale job interview at the end of this month and is considering taking this to prepare for my interview.

    People need to visualize what it actually means when a job has 1000 applications. Let's picture that's all in person, 1000 individuals in a crowd trying to win an opportunity. Probability alone, even if you have unreal experience, should tell you that unless you're a gambling man, you need to stand out somehow by taking a deeper initiative. Not even to mention, I think for sales roles it should be a prerequisite that you hunt down a decision maker and either call or message them, that's literally what your job will be anyway. If you can't or won't do that, why would they hire you?

    Every industry has its challenges. You have to separate yourself from other applicants , not just sending a resume only. You have to do video introductions , mock cold calls etc

    I don’t know what people are talking about when it comes to not being able to get interviews. I started applying two weeks ago and literally have 8 interviews this week.

    the tech company I work for is literally only hiring for sales or CS roles right now. you just gotta differentiate yourself from the 1000 other applicants. passive applying doesn't work in this job market

    Hey man love the vidoe, im currently finishing high-school and im interested in taking the course careers course or your couse on tech sales, do you think my age and lack of experience will stop me from getting a job? Im going to start the courses and the work in the summer break after finishing highschool.

    • @techsales-higherlevels
      @techsales-higherlevels  6 месяцев назад +1

      We've seen results for students of most any background. Coming straight out of high school a great thing to do is look for any sales experience you can get, whether it's tech, retail, car sales, or otherwise. As you build up your sales experience you can apply to bigger tech companies and progress your career quickly.
      So in short yes, starting now will get you building the relevant skills and aptitude to break in

    Regarding the person that didn’t immediately accept the $96k offer because they were waiting on a higher offer from a competitor, were they not worried that the 1st offer would go to someone else as they waited for the 2nd offer. Maybe they have a strong background for the job???

      @kristinn3367 really hard to say but there's a higher chance it's real if there is a hiring manager attached to the listing.
      I think a lot of the misconception now comes from them hiring for the same remote role from 2 different offices. So they might be hiring in SF and NYC but only need 1 candidate, etc....
