Recently I’ve gotten a lot of my friends back into go and even got some of them to come to New York with me this year, feels a lot like when the game first came out for me recently and the events have been a lot of fun happening every week
Personally it’s my ex who started to play again and I decided to play again as well since it could be some fun together while we’re out… ended up that she stopped like 3 weeks later because she “has no luck in this game at all while you you are lucky af”… while she got an Hundo Zygarde… 🤣 But well she preferred Genshin anyways. I remember we were talking about money for those games, and honestly Genshin is the worse so far. From what I know despite me and my family and some of her friend we bought her a new computer last year for her birthday (she told us the component she needed) she cannot play to this game anymore because of the updates… so often I relativise when I see the money than we can put there and there and Genshin 🤷♂️ (where if you want to make sure to have this new 5 stars character you want with all the constellation you need to be overly lucky or pay about 2k 🤷♂️ at least even in PvP, if it’s not a shundo or Hundo, you can still play and win 🤷♂️ especially her with her Hundo Zygarde if she had patience lol)
I played pokemon go in 2016 and just came back this year. Seeing all this makes me wish I gave time to this game. So much that I missed. I hope they bring back alot of these Pokémon. Need my cyndaquil!
Man I wish I continued playing from when I started. Day 5 player here and stopped playing because of not having enough content off the rip. Played on and off every year since except for 2022 where I have 1 Pokemon from that year. Started playing again in September of last year and have been playing HARD. Do every event and am going to my first in person Go Fest Madrid. Super Hyped for that! For me so far, was the Sinnoh tour event. It was the first time I went out with the community and played with people from a young age to middle aged and older. The community is by far the best of any game and that event showed me. It made me want to attend a Go Fest and it’s happening. I will say my best catch day to date was Groudon raid day, where I caught a whopping 2 Reg Hundos 1 Shundo 1 98% Shiny 1 96% shiny and 1 Reg 98%. My luck on that day was INSANE and I can only hope that I’m that lucky at Go Fest.
I really miss 2016-2020. Those were some great years. My excitement started waning in the last couple of years except for my first in person go fest in NYC last year. That was incredible. I can't wait to do it again!
I have a love/hate relationships with remote raids. It's great that I don't miss out on legendaries/megas like I used to, but I remember back in the day - I work on a college campus and when legendary eggs would hatch there would be a crowd of us waiting to battle it. Everybody would be talking about what were the best pokemon to use, what moves, etc, cheering when anyone got a shiny. Now even when I'm in person there are no other players in sight, all remote raiders. The only similar experience recently was the in-person-only enamorous raid day on Valentines Day this year. I couldn't go grind because it was a work day and I had dinner plans that evening, but on my way home I realized it was just about time for eggs to hatch and I stopped by a park I go past that has several gyms and there was a crowd of about 20 players waiting. We walked from gym to gym as a group and I was able get 4 of them, one of which was 91% IV's (the others were trade fodder).
I'm a day 1 player and honestly, Sinoh Global was one of my favorite PoGo events ever! I spent so much money but I have no regrets! Don't let the early players who are jaded about the game kill your excitement. Sure, we miss the old times but it's still a great game with so many cool events!
same omg! i first played it in 2016 when it was launched but only played it for a week. then i played it again for halloween 2019 in college and that was it. in 24th january 2024 i downloaded one more time and was hooked ever since, i had eye surgery a few days before the sinnoh tour event but went playing in my city anyway 😅 now i never miss any event
So many memories… I wish I recorded all my gameplays like you! 2016: The birth of a legendary game, 2017: Raids, 2018: Events, 2019: Mewtwo, 2020: PvP, 2021: PvP 2 🤣, 2022: Zacian, 2023: Megas, 2024: Dynamax and Gigamax raids!
I was a day one player, left for over a year, and came back a month or so ago. My favorite days were legendary raid days. One year, for Moltres, we had nearly 50 people playing, split in 3 groups going around the city doing raids. I will never forget that day. Also, when Trackers were still available, I remember racing across the city for a wild Lapras (my last gen 1) at 2 am, only to see that it was behind a locked gate.
Damn, the closest I've gotten to emulating the first few years of the game recently is when I catch a Galarian Bird, and even that thrill has lost me. Nothing in this game gives me joy anymore.
I think go fest is about to make 2024 as one of the years to play. We have had enough changes already, between sinnoh tour and the rest of the ultra beasts coming out this season, shadow Groudon release and shadow legends being rerun non-stop it's already a good year and go fest is going to be the cherry on top. The fact that you can remote in to in person go fest raids without the ticket is perfect to start the hunt early if you're lucky.
I'll never forget that very first Halloween event!! My son and I were running all over town and having an absolute blast. It's one of my most memorable Pokémon Go experiences.
My account is from 2016 but I stopped playing a week or so after the initial release. I picked the game back up in 2022 when my partner dragged me out to a park for some important egg that was hatching at the park at 2pm (Hoopa Elite raid) and I’ve been playing ever since! Just hit level 50!
That 2016 halloween update was the best event ever. Remember running around at night hunting gengar. I was also 8 at the time. Wish they would release a whole region in one day like back when gen 2 came out aswell
Meloetta Go Fest during Pogo's 5 year anniversary. Cheap tickets, stacked shinies, cute musical costumes you could shiny hunt, EVERY LEGENDARY SPAWNED AT ONCE ON SUNDAY.
I've been playing since day 1 but I have yet to go to cool events and Go Tours Makes me wish I had a crew to fight raids, cause fighting 1-3 star raids can be boring Let's hope this year will be different for me
I’ve played Pogo since July 15, 2016 but I live in a rural/suburban area so I was more of a casual player since spawns were few and pokestops and gyms were even fewer. Then 2020 hit and all of a sudden pogo became more accessible for me. 2020 global GoFest is my favorite event since 2016. Not only was I able to play more, but other people I knew started playing making it so much more fun. Now most of those bonuses are gone and my friends have stopped playing. I’m still playing everyday but it’s not as exciting as I can’t participate in many events due to lack of accessibility.
We probably can do this after Pokemon Festival 2024. Like had been mega evolved Pokemon. Place Dusk Mane as your adventure buddy to obtain Solar fusion energies. Place Dawn Wings as your adventure buddy to obtain Lunar fusion energies 20 Km for one Necrozma a candy a XL candy and 25 fusion energies, 1 Cosmog candy and XL Cosmog candy. Players have other optional, place Necrozma that are already used to fuse with Solgaleo or Lunalar or both of them to obtain fusion energies depend which one had fused before. Fused Necrozma with Solgaleo = 25 Solar fusion energies. Fused Necrozma with Lunar =25 Lunar fusion energies. Fused Necrozma with Solgaleo and Lunalar = 25 Solar fusion energies and 25 Lunar fusion energies. All above can obtain 1 Necrozma candy and 1 XL Necrozma candy. If you place Solgaleo or Lunalar had been fused with Necrozma either 25 Solar fusion energies or 25 Lunar fusion energies but definitely can obtain 1 Cosmog candy and 1 XL Cosmog candy for 20 KM.
8:06 this event was one of the worst events of 2023 for free to play players no free raid passes meaning you had to spend money on raid passes no important bonuses and yes, though the spawn were cool. The only things that were shiny boosted were the new shinys and the legendary eon duo. One of the worst events I’ve ever played in my life and it made me quit Pokémon GO for two months.the in person event was good, but the global sucked they did the same thing for sinnoh tour this year give us the option to buy a $15 ticket which will actually give us important bonuses like go fest and shiny boost, forcing players to play a significantly worse event when they know they could make a better one or can give us the option to play a better one it’s just evil, i’ve lost all ability to be excited for a tour event and it’s because of this one give me the option to spend money to get a better experience, please🥺🙏
I was so bummed - that 2023 event I didn't know until it was almost over about the regional pokemon in eggs. So I didn't realize to grind for relicanth, tropius, and torkoal. Luckily I did hatch two of them and traded for the third (crap IVs and non shiny, but just happy to fill the gaps in my dex).
The go fest 2018 and 2019 were amazing. Global 2020 and all globals since then were a let down big time. The amount of wild spawns at the in person ones were boosted, lures were non-stop and shiny rates were great. The exact opposite for the globals, so my hype coming from experiencing the in person then the reality of the global was night and day. The OG Dratini community day was probably one of the best ever. Boosted spawn rates, and our community had windy boost so everything was off the charts nuts. The shadow Mewtwo raid.days were probably also bonkers, but we planned for it, we set up a large jeep loaded with accounts and determined people to get the shundo. We had 9 people loaded up and ready to rock, doing around 50 raids a piece at the minimum.
i have a good idea for a pokemon go challenge. Wifi only. It would be a leveling challenge that you could do on your main account or a new one the only rules are you are not allowed to use moblie data or hotspots you have to play pokemon go exclusively on wifi. This would limit you to places with wifi or high wifi density such as librarys, malls, downtowns, and starbucks. Not everybody on earth has a moblie data connection especially kids and the elderly but some of them do have phones or ipads and would benefit from playing pokemon go but simply cant because they dont have moblie data. when i was a kid i asked my friend if he wanted play pokemon go he said he cant because he doesn't have a data plan yet and i told him we can play at the library there is wifi there and then he started playing the game at the library which had a cluster of 5 pokestops and a gym so we would walk around and in the library playing the game.
Best day was the day after launch in 2016. Well technically the first few months. Never in my life, have I seen a video game make hundreds of people crowd into parks and chase spawns. Bellevue Square Mall Wa would have 300+ at peak every day for weeks. I met so many cool people and new friends, many of whom are now very close friends. I eventually stopped playing mid 2017 (recently got back into it though). But the start of this game was magical. Once you looked past all the hiccups and issues. A video game that encouraged people to go outside and touch grass, literally lol. I even bought a long board that summer.
I have only played for the last 2 years. But I would say the best event I have done was the hoenn tour when I got my shiny kecleon. I was so pumped about that. Keep up the good videos. I have actually learned quite a bit from them. Thank you for the work you do. It's very much appreciated.
Personally my best memory / favorite time, was the ultra unlock from a year or so ago, when gen 9 pokemon were release, but there was also a 4x Stardust and a 4x XP on all catches. I don't remember a single time i played more than those 4-5 days with my friends grinding all day and night. I remember getting 2 mil XP and 400K stardust per day.
man i wish i would live near a city wear pokemon go is still hyped and played . because missing these events even tho i can buy the tickets cant be used very well cause there are not many pokestops in one area or some arenas nearby
He forgot to mention the one and only time Apex Ho-Oh and Apex Lugia came out which are pretty amazing knowing that they came with the attacks areoblast and sacred fire ++!
My best Pokémon day was when primal kyogre came out the 2nd time in march, I was in the car otw back to college. I had 390 energy doing my supposed last raid, and I check to see a shiny with a 2352 cp Easily the best day for me, can’t wait to max it 😟
I remember when the game release in 2016 until 2017 (for some reasons idk why… I stopped until August 2023). That was a fun time even if some people were coucou here (like, fighting for REAL for a gym, wtf? 🤣 and it was pretty common in France). So, since I came back, the best was obviously, so far, the Sinnoh tour. The circumstances I was in were a bit tricky to fully enjoy it, but still, that was great. I was happy that we got the primo days as well, since Kyogre is one of my favorite Pokemon ever. Got pretty lucky with him. Very lucky with Groupon but even more with Kyogre shiny that I really love with some very good IVs. For my first Halloween by the time, sadly I didn’t know about PokeGenie so I didn’t fully enjoyed it. Buuuut I will catch up this year and hope to get a very good Giratina O. Shiny! But first, I hope I will get a great Zamazenta shiny ahah. Oh, and one of my personal greatest day since I play is when I got during a trade a 93-94% Galarians Zapdos! We’ll see what the event will bring us soon :) but I’m at least happy that this year allowed people like me to catch up on legendaries needed for the Master League. Just regret that I purified my 94% Metwo to get an Hundo 🤣
Would you be willing to play Pokemon Legends Z-A on the switch when it comes out 2025? I know you played portion let's go abs didn't care for it but I'd like to see your take on a Legends game
Yo mystic it’s me again thank you for posting again your videos brighten up my day and I watch them all the time and I think this comes from everyone we love your content
Sinnoh tour was the only big event I’ve done, only time I’ve went with friends to play. But it was awesome, I only did 3 raids in total but got a shiny Dialga and a Hundo Palkia. My gf got all 3 shiny wild legendaries too. Awesome day
I had a very disappointing day one of hoenn tour las vegas, leading to disputing issues regarding premium paid items and 3 hours of not being able to play. I quit playing for 3 months. I probably would have put it number 1 if i played the way i wanted to instead of standing around doing not much for many hours. Hopefully go fest NYC this year will probably bump to Number 1. Myself and one other friend got friday early park and are just planning to go crazy.
The single best time of Pokémon GO was the era of unlimited cheap Remote Raid Passes! Nothing will top that. We can only reminisce about the good old days, because a senile CEO is at the helm of the company. I'm glad you're thriving, Brandon! You don't need Niantic 🎉
Niantic honestly should've won the Nobel Piece Prize in 2016. When Pokemon Go launched, the world was just so... peaceful.
this
they should also win the nobel chaos prize post 2021
I’m so old 8 years of Pokemon go 😭
Recently I’ve gotten a lot of my friends back into go and even got some of them to come to New York with me this year, feels a lot like when the game first came out for me recently and the events have been a lot of fun happening every week
You're lucky. I can't get any of my old crew back into the game. I'm afraid they're gone for good.
Lucky none of my friends will play it anymore
Personally it’s my ex who started to play again and I decided to play again as well since it could be some fun together while we’re out… ended up that she stopped like 3 weeks later because she “has no luck in this game at all while you you are lucky af”… while she got an Hundo Zygarde… 🤣

Same here. We have missed SOOO much
Cyndaquil community day is soon!!!

i started the game on 24/01/2024 , sinnoah tour was the most fun thing i experienced i walked 20 km in 2 days just doing raids and for the lake trio
I'm a day 1 player and honestly, Sinoh Global was one of my favorite PoGo events ever! I spent so much money but I have no regrets!
Don't let the early players who are jaded about the game kill your excitement. Sure, we miss the old times but it's still a great game with so many cool events!

The 2016 Halloween event was awesome and had such a spooky vibe. Great time in life
It really did! For me, they've never recaptured the overall spookyness of that event. It was the best!
@@angelaa1611agreed! It was definitely one of the best times in the game imo.
So many memories… I wish I recorded all my gameplays like you!
2016: The birth of a legendary game,
2017: Raids,
2018: Events,
2019: Mewtwo,
2020: PvP,
2021: PvP 2 🤣,
2022: Zacian,
2023: Megas,
2024: Dynamax and Gigamax raids!
Bidoof day was a legendary event😂

1:03 DANGIE BROSS
First month of release, found a snorlax on a scanner while at work. Ran hard to get to it and noticed others running towards it too
I think go fest is about to make 2024 as one of the years to play. GO Fest 2020 was the event that convinced me to continue playing GO. Catching Victini was a moment of all time for me.
I'll never forget that very first Halloween event!! My son and I were running all over town and having an absolute blast. It's one of my most memorable Pokémon Go experiences.
Sinoh Tour! Dialga & Palkia! So much fun being around thousands of players. Oh yeah, we met JT Valor too! 😊
I'm so happy I in some way managed to get an armored mewtwo
My account is from 2016 but I stopped playing a week or so after the initial release. I picked the game back up in 2022 when my partner dragged me out to a park for some important egg that was hatching at the park at 2pm (Hoopa Elite raid) and I’ve been playing ever since! Just hit level 50!

I miss the good old 2016 days, when everyone was playing it.
Meloetta Go Fest during Pogo's 5 year anniversary. Cheap tickets, stacked shinies, cute musical costumes you could shiny hunt, EVERY LEGENDARY SPAWNED AT ONCE ON SUNDAY.
I've been playing since day 1 but I have yet to go to cool events and Go Tours

Sinnoh tour for sure
I started at the beginning of 2021, and my favorite event was probably go fest 2021. Just for the nostalgia.
im obsessed with your one grey
60 days till go fest and 10k tickets left
👇
We probably can do this after Pokemon Festival 2024. Like had been mega evolved Pokemon.
Place Dusk Mane as your adventure buddy to obtain Solar fusion energies.
Place Dawn Wings as your adventure buddy to obtain Lunar fusion energies
20 Km for one Necrozma a candy a XL candy and 25 fusion energies, 1 Cosmog candy and XL Cosmog candy.
Players have other optional, place Necrozma that are already used to fuse with Solgaleo or Lunalar or both of them to obtain fusion energies depend which one had fused before.
Fused Necrozma with Solgaleo = 25 Solar fusion energies.

3.30 says 2019 was last ever appearance of Armoured Mewtwo but it returned with Psystrike in Feb 2020 literally before lockdown
i have a good idea for a pokemon go challenge.
I played during Hoenn tour and was completely oblivious to the regional egg spawns. I still don’t have any. Big rip
Best day was the day after launch in 2016. Well technically the first few months.

I can't wait for go fest NYC, should be a blast and excited to see fellow trainers!
I have only played for the last 2 years. But I would say the best event I have done was the hoenn tour when I got my shiny kecleon. I was so pumped about that. Keep up the good videos. I have actually learned quite a bit from them. Thank you for the work you do. It's very much appreciated.
St. Patrick's day 2017 at the Santa Monica Pier.
the moment when you trade a pokemon to your sis thats older than her
Go Fest Dortmund 2019 was awesome!
HATE that this Go Fest is in the Summer. Here in AZ that will be easily 100+ degrees, and absolutely miserable
Believe it or not. Go Fest 2017. After they said “event runs all weekend, city wide” me and a new friend just had a blast.
Hard agree on the Go-Fest 2020 - it was my birthday and it was miserable not being allowed to go out but that was the best weekend ever 🎉
Please teach us how to use the purified gems for enraged shadow Pokémon. I’ve been playing since it first started!
Definitely this years go fest, while i didn't go in person, i went down to Gatlinburg and walked around for a while and over all, a great day
Personally my best memory / favorite time, was the ultra unlock from a year or so ago, when gen 9 pokemon were release, but there was also a 4x Stardust and a 4x XP on all catches. I don't remember a single time i played more than those 4-5 days with my friends grinding all day and night. I remember getting 2 mil XP and 400K stardust per day.
Yeeaaah one of the best events for grinding !
They need to have a kecleon day
Community Days are permanently off-limits to Single-stage Pokemon.
man i wish i would live near a city wear pokemon go is still hyped and played . because missing these events even tho i can buy the tickets cant be used very well cause there are not many pokestops in one area or some arenas nearby
clash with cam spotted 👀
If i wasnt afraid of getting insulted for playing the game i would start a channel for pokemon go
He forgot to mention the one and only time Apex Ho-Oh and Apex Lugia came out which are pretty amazing knowing that they came with the attacks areoblast and sacred fire ++!
So many good memories indeed :)
Best pokemon go day was the start, everyone out at night grinding the 400 magikarp candies
Dude ive got a xxl shundo kekleon😭
My best Pokémon day was when primal kyogre came out the 2nd time in march, I was in the car otw back to college. I had 390 energy doing my supposed last raid, and I check to see a shiny with a 2352 cp
Easily the best day for me, can’t wait to max it 😟
Idk why the PoGo spark rekindled for me these days, i'm having a a blast playing!
ITS OUT LETS GOOOOO
Why is he talking positively about global Hoenn tour?
I thought for a second he was gonna say September 11th was the best day to play in Pokémon go 😂
Would you be willing to play Pokemon Legends Z-A on the switch when it comes out 2025? I know you played portion let's go abs didn't care for it but I'd like to see your take on a Legends game
title bit weird tought shiny mewtwo was coming back🥲
My main problem for the global Hoenn & Sinoh tour was the shiny odds were not boosted.
How do you get so many remote raid invites?
He does this every single year, we get it Pokemon Go was better back then 😅
I found a shiny giratina and shiny origin palkia
back when zekroms were in raids, i caught like 50 of them
been watching since the start your contents elite
Yo mystic it’s me again thank you for posting again your videos brighten up my day and I watch them all the time and I think this comes from everyone we love your content
Sinnoh tour was the only big event I’ve done, only time I’ve went with friends to play. But it was awesome, I only did 3 raids in total but got a shiny Dialga and a Hundo Palkia. My gf got all 3 shiny wild legendaries too. Awesome day
In mainline games shiny mew (outside of gen 1&2) was only available in Japan
Did anybody receive an email about a class action lawsuit regarding Niantic?
I just got one, boutta read it rn
@diangeloarellano7620 was it about this person "Plaintiff"

3:08 wait celebi is a mythical?
……..
YOUR SAYING.
I HAD A
SHNY MYTHICAL THE WHOLE TIME
I remember watching the first Dragonite you caught.....damn
2016 & 2020 is best year in PokeGo history
2018 fortnite killed pokemon go
Yesterday i was in the city for a family members birthday. I found keckleon but we were underground so i couldn't catch it and it despawned. :D
Bro i got a wild shiny uxie just 2 minutes ago
I started in march of last year
I played since 2017 and the best event I ever played was go fest 2021 day 2 when all legendarys were in
2021 go fest raid day was crazy, I got over one million so that day
anyone know the name of the track that starts playing at 5:54?
Do you know what your 100th shiny was? I'm really curious
I have come far since then
For me it was the G tour, Feb 24 is my birthday, and I got 2 shiny legendary mons.
“It’s been 8 years of Pokémon go” me: 👨👨🦰👴💀
The single best time of Pokémon GO was the era of unlimited cheap Remote Raid Passes! Nothing will top that.
We can only reminisce about the good old days, because a senile CEO is at the helm of the company. I'm glad you're thriving, Brandon! You don't need Niantic 🎉
I thought this video was old
Another thing pokemon go needs to add is transfering candy LX to normal cadny
you really have had a glow up brother xD
Day 189 of Shadow Galarian Birds
Ultra beats left the chat
Elite raids were never hype, broken from the start, and useless to this day
Mystic, didnt you get a shadow 98% mewtwo??
