Reasons.
Raid duration only for 30 minutes for elite raid compared to raid day is 3 hours with 1 hour consecutively.
No additional 5 free raid passes for elite raid.
Elite raid can't be remote raid.
Elite raid may be no boosted shiny raid.

I caught a shiny necrozma with a nyc catch card on afternoon Sunday, nyc go fest, then right after got a hundo marshadow 💪💪💪💪🥳 also is, just did a remote raid, w my last pass and got a shiny first try acticuno, then doing that raid completed a research for a hundo electrike lmaooo my luck since gofest nyc has been amazing im all for it
