Nothing better than a classic copper cable meltdown and that's what I do today and another awesome addition for the stack but they always are👌🏻. I also show how much gas is used so you can see just how well these furnaces run. Now you sit back relax take a break and as always have an awesome weekend , and hopefully I see all you beautiful people next Friday👋🏻😁
@@minenotyours212 he could seriously build a huge yacht or something massive with all that metal he’s collected and recycled. 1000kg is no small feat to amass
Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. I dig watching the metal harden and the color change. And I find the sound of the polishing soothing. And then there I'd Ingot and bullion, having two English bulldogs I dig them.
Okay, so we all did our 2 cents with bubble talk, I call it now. He poured straight from one corner, beautiful beautiful bright hot copper, touch of graphite push but not where any bubble were. I think it's safe to say without a machine making ultra fast pours, that wouldn't splash somehow, on a seismic table then this is pretty damn perfect. Brilliant looking copper. Everyday I'm closer to becoming a scrapper and possible smelter.
I've basically been binge watching these videos over the last couple of weeks, and seeing molten copper seemingly take on the viscosity of water is still strange.
I love how attentive you are to your wee beasties. Also that crow is one of my favorites. Had those all around our house in North Carolina. Made that same weird sound.
Hi BigstackD!! We LOVE your channel!! We think it would be really cool, and fun, to see you fry an egg on top of one of your castings (like you did throwing the leaf on top of one in this video)!! Give your sweet pups loves from us!! Matthew & Michelle Louisville, KY, USA
Those lamb chops though, got me drooling! All the lamb chops in our local supermarket come from down under so I can almost smell the meat frying on the grill there. Thanks for another awesome meltdown!
My lady came upon some copper wire with her coworker once. She brought it home it's super thick but not even insulated. thinner than a pencil but not by much. She wants it for her projects likely but I wanna make ingots and I have no equipment like you. Great video.
My heart sank and skipped a beat when he dropped that crucible..... I literally gasped...... Ok can get in shower and start my Fri because ive got my weekly melt in
Thank you for these ASMR videos, my whole fam was falling asleep for a siesta when kiddo woke me up to change her dress & THEN she passed out lol now im stuck awake … while everyone is napping but at least I got these melt vids ! Thanks BigstackD Edited to add; tell your doggos they are good wholesome doggos ❤️🔥
Absolutely love everyone of your videos, for years now. But the best part is waiting until the very end and watching the boys. Precious rascals. Thanks for posting another great video.
I hate spiders, but I figure you got the video posted, so they don't bit you TOO bad, so I can stand them. Lol! Year's ago, when I drove truck, I picked up a load of copper in the Arizona mountains and took it to New England where the ingots were turned into whatever. The most beautiful load I ever had the pleasure of hauling. Of course the value made it where my co driver and I had to lock the trailer king pin if we both left sight of the truck. I almost hated to tarp it, it was so beautiful, though. 24 tons of copper is quite a sight. I think that's why I love watching you make bars of copper. The metal is absolutely beautiful.
Your videos inspired me to get out of working in a shitty kitchen and get a job making custom copper wires and hopefully work up to making carbon fiber wires.
Ah! My favorite also, a beautiful copper bar is born, it was great seeing you prep the new crucible before hand. The noisy bird was like - I didn't come over on this pole just to be filmed you didn't even ask my permission..... Take care all!
Thank you for the spider warnings! Love your videos, thank you for making so many of them, and making them longer. Just lots of thanks from Denmark :-)
Awesome! Love this one. Bar Turned out amazing. I usually watch these to sleep and/or relax so when the rain started in the background I knew this would be my new favourite, haha. Love your videos keep up the steller melting! Time to replay this from the beginning for the 4th time and go to sleep.. 💤 😴 💤
Have a good weekend, D. I don't know if you read my comment on a previous video about the animal noise, but thanks for telling/showing! Never expected it to be an ordinary crow.
5:21 - Me too. Started collecting wire and pipe recently and it’s really nice to look at and satisfying when it’s all wrapped up in a box. No machine for me, stripping by hand in my spare time watching TV.
BigstackD... love the humor you started the video with. Seems you were feeling a bit saucy. Nice touch sir. And thank you for the warning on the spider. I do not fear much, but spiders... lets just say I would use a cannon to destroy them. I remember seeing you relocate some of the ones you encounter to your yard. Sorry, I just cannot do that. Thank you for yet another great video.
And had a cooled one after a day of foundry working. It can't be more manly than this (maybe he could have done few bench press sets in the meantime while listening to some metal).
Your right with nothing better than a classic copper melt. One of these days I will add some better melting abilities to my repertoire. Great video as always bud...👍🏽🔥😁❤️💯
Yeah mate I’ve just received my Kiln last week but I’m gonna need room to set it up so unfortunately I need to wait until I have a bigger place but I will definitely be doing some more intricate pieces in the future hopefully sooner than later👍🏻

Im sorry but what beer do you drink? :3
I came because of the melting, but I'm definitely staying cus of the frenchies.
It's a longing life.
It must be a real pain when you wanna plug something in and realize all your cords are in ingot form
Where's the ladder? Need to get a ball off the roof. Oh I'll borrow the neighbors. Oops forgot they have also been melted. 🇺🇸🇦🇺
Waiting for big stacked to make a vid and be like "recabling the copper"
Best part is he’s got enough metal to probably make anything he could ever need
@@minenotyours212 he could seriously build a huge yacht or something massive with all that metal he’s collected and recycled. 1000kg is no small feat to amass
Lol!
I'm starting to like BigsnackD as much as the melt itself. Have a good weekend BigstackD!
These videos are so therapeutic.
My sentiments exactly!
yep
100% And you wouldn't want to mess with the boys protecting the stash, Love the videos and its my friday night wind down.

You know what's funny?
It's 6:35 AM and here I am watching my favorite aussie melt some good ol' copper
Ahhh this breakfast tastes better

Bro I love a good BigSnackD, especially when you are cookin’ with gas (literally)
So are white-tailed spiders dangerous? I know there are a lot of dangerous animals in Australia
Just spent 3 days unpacking after 3 days of driving. I am sooo ready for this.

Gonna loop this video on day two and take a nap to the rain. Great video as usual D… see you next Friday
Great video. Love watching molten copper dancing in the crucible. Beautiful sight.
My stomache had been upset all evening. I laughed when you pretended to drop the shiny new crucibles. Thanks.
I love how attentive you are to your wee beasties.

Yes it was a great saving and I was actually surprised at the quality as it was absolutely perfect when I opened it👍🏻😁
Beautiful sunset!
I burst out laughing when he dropped the crucible for some reason, copper is also one of my favorite metals. Its such a good conductor.
Nice one, mate. Your videos are always good

Thanks for the video!
Thank you for the spider warning!
Not gonna lie, I laughed WAY too hard at the ‘be careful, don’t drop it.’ *shakes tray uncontrollably*
