HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

This one was very interesting to me, I repair washing machines and other appliances for a living, that's where I get most of the metals to melt from, everything gets thrown away otherwise.
I do get a lot of that Aluminium wire thought, I call it Chinesium 😋 1 thing about the circuit boards, pretty sure someone might have said it already but the little plastic boxes on the boards are relais and have copper spools in them, and also brass or copper pins with silver contacts, they are often nice and crunchy if the board is old so very easy to get some extra copper from.

Tho I'd love more of BigstackedD I'll definitely take quality over quantity and I bet it takes him all week to make an awesome video like this! The breaking down, all the setup & resetting up of the camera equipment, the actual melt, clean-up, hours of editing I'm sure... he makes it look easy & enjoyable but there's a lot of work involved!

With all the PCB's, you should extract the gold from them. It's a little work to get it, but would be fun to see a time lapse of the extraction and melting the gold.

I thought when you wire brushed the ingot that it had so much character, please don't polish it more.
    It really turned out well.
How many days did it take to disassemble, reduce and melt, then edit? I always think that you must do these over several days 😒

Regarding 6:45 - You get a LOT from old electronics - Neodymium Magnets from hard drives, small amounts of copper form the inductors and solenoids on those PCBs (printed circuit boards), etc. Either use a soldering iron to melt the solder, or more destructively, snip or smash them.
