    Thank you - this looks like a great alternative to more expensive, much fussier things.

      I’m so glad!!!! I uploaded videos every Saturday during the pandemic when public singing was impossible but it’s been hard to find the time since my singing (and traveling) life has resumed. Maybe someday I’ll have the time and brain space to make more virtual videos! Thanks for watching!!

    Great tutorial, thanks!
    edit: Looks like acapella changed it so 30 seconds is the Max recording for the free version, ouch. Anyone know of an alternative app? Still a great tutorial though. I'll just have to make some TicToks I guess instead of videos😅

    Very helpful. How would one bring in a piano track, for example, to sing over?

    • @kissydube1
      @kissydube1  4 года назад

      Ah yes, you can import your first track with the paid subscription (I don’t believe that’s a feature in the free app.) I’ve done this once, in my video with Carter, and don’t think it’s tricky. Since it’s not something I do often I didn’t think to feature it in my video. I was trying to remain as basic as possible!

    • @kissydube1
      @kissydube1  4 года назад

      Also, I’m pretty sure the piano track would need to have a video attached. Or you would need to play the audio in the background of your singing track. I would have to do some research on this because I don’t actually know the absolute answer if it’s just audio!

    Thank you so much for this! I was wondering, do your headphones have a microphone in them? Or how do you hear the metronome, while also being able to sing?

    • @kissydube1
      @kissydube1  Год назад +1

      Nope! Just basic headphones. The metronome is in the app and you can hear it while recording!

    Kristen, I just watched your newest video, “ Oh Come, Oh Come, Emanuel”. I really liked the arrangement as I have for all of you postings. OK that is the carrot, now the stick. In all of your videos you have given consideration to your appearance along with the music, is it possible, perhaps with an extension cable, to place you headphone cable down your back. It can be distracting and mar an otherwise beautiful presentation.

    • @kissydube1

      Thank you for the compliment and your input! I have tried putting the cord down my back (even with an extension) and it’s not possible when I use the Acapella App given where my music is placed. Occasionally I’ll lip sync my audio and there’s been a few times where my setup allows for me to be closer to my device and I can put the cords behind my back.
      To me, though, it’s all part of the experience. We are in strange times and this is the way I have to make music right now, with headphones. I’m sorry it is distracting to you.

    I've totally forgotten about this app. I'm working on a project where I'm already in a studio setting, but I want to incorporate the (Multi screen) video portion of that recording session. Can I do that by muting the audio on this app and use the studio recording in it's place? Thx, and you have a wonderful voice!

    • @kissydube1
      @kissydube1  Год назад

      As long as you have both things going at the same time, the video and audio should sync up!

      I would think that by now there must be one! But I’m unsure.
