Thanks for the walkthrough, Gina! This is extremely helpful! Keep making awesome content! By the way, I hope you and your family are doing well during the shutdowns. It's super hard out there for most musicians since live performances have been cancelled due to... issues. Keep up the spirit and keep your you time precious! Take a break if you need to!
Thank you for writing me this note! A lot of people are consuming tons of content created by artists but aren't thinking about how this is all impacting us. I so appreciate your kind words! Glad to hear this video was helpful for you!
Thanks for this tutorial, Gina. I will be starting to use Acapella with my intergenerational flute choir. We have purchased several of your mixed arrangements to play from home while we are still operating under "Stay at Home" guidelines in Illinois. Also, thanks for the wonderful ring tone! I love it, and I know that it is my phone and not someone else's when I hear it playing. Wish you would cover more on selecting an alto flute. Thanks again for your music and your website!
Hey, thanks for your really nice note! I'm glad you enjoy my arrangements and ring tone! I'm actually planning new video content now and definitely want to have more Alto Flute content -so stay tuned!
Hi there Gina, greetings from Malaysia 😁 I’m actually new to this app and I’m using the Roland GoMixer pro x as an audio mixer to do some guitar parts as well as singing parts. I plug my phone through the Roland, and my headphones are plugged into the Roland as well. The problem I’m facing is that when I put the metronome sound on it records together with my guitar or singing, meaning the metronome clicking sound is there in the videos. Is there a way I can use the metronome without having the sound being recorded? I’ve tried panning it for the left ear as well as right, putting down the volume etc. I don’t mind if there’s no sound for the metronome it could also be like a blink or something, I just need a tempo guide for the recordings. Thank you very much for your time if you see this, and any help from you would be awesome. Thank you I’m advance Gina 😁👍
HI Gina. I really enjoyed your video. Having written arrangements in past years what you are doing makes sense. There is one thing I'd wonder if you could try video-wise at some time to see how it works. That is, instead of using your four recorded videos which I found somewhat distracting, how about using only your solo video, showing 4 times, or?? No doubt you se what I mean video-wise - it's a districting picture when as director you could be telling me what to see. On the other hand perhaps dimming out the other three and let's say you change which panels are highlited depending upon the importance of the specific line at the time. Anyway, you've been working hard on the music and you're having fun with it's success. Now I wonder if you could experiment with the video end of it. No doubt there's lots to experiment with that end of your productions. Love it. Keep it up. Thanks for your great and most informative video.
Why is there no video on your previous tutorial? And will an iPod (or iPhone) accept an external mic, if it's duly plugged in via an adapter? Do I have to turn the iPod's mic off first? Thank you.
Hi Gina, new to Acapella. How do I save vid to profile as only option is public, private, collab. There's not a single save button but both save n share buttons are together as one not one or the other. Thanks.
Thanks for this. I was using the built in metronome in the app, but in my recording you can hear the metronome going. How were you able to get the metronome to not sound in our recording? I presume you could still hear the metronome on your headphone while you were playing.
Nice video! I purchased the premium and have one player who needs to record remotely (collaborate). He likes to go last (drummer)...but I want to do the final mixing. SO, he gets his own 'free" account and adds his part, but how do I load it as a current project to finish it off? thanks!
If you are recording a split-screen with multiple people virtually without paying for premium after you send your recording to the others, how do you continue with the next section? Do you have to wait for them to add their parts to the collaboration, then send it back to you, continuing from there, or can you continue recording your parts?
Hi Gina! I’m a flutist too. Just getting into Acapella. I’m looking to stand further away from my iPad. Are there longer headphone? I have the headphone that came with my iPhone. When you’re recording the 2nd, 3rd and 4th parts are you hearing the first part and the metronome? Is there away to adjust the volume of the metronome? I’m losing it when I add other parts. Any help is greatly appreciated. Tom Meany
Can I leave a Collaboration "open"? In other words not send it to anyone specifically? Each time I click Collaboration, it reverts back to Public. I'm sure I've done it before, where I leave it open, so that anyone in my ensemble who is ready to record can then make a Collab request from me. Thanks for taking all this time from your busy schedule. I wish the COMPANY supported their product the way you do! :-)
I purchased full app after watching your tutorials and am having trouble with video lagging behind sound, vary frustrating after a good take. Any thoughts? thanks.
I didn’t realize that it didn’t work on Android in my other videos and so I wanted to make sure to clear it up and give an explanation in this video. My other videos are very to the point but people wanted a more in depth look at the app.
@@jordanthomas7702 To the point. This is meant to be a teaching video. As a teacher, I know how important it is to be clear and concise. I like Gina's videos and my comments are meant to help. There is one point where Gina does NOT explain enough - and that is after recording the first section, she says that we can redo it - and then rushes over the bit where she says that can also be done later on, even if you have clicked continue. That is important and something that needs a bit more emphasis. My students are not L1 English speakers and I am aware not to talk too much and add language that they have to deal with that is unnecessary, Just saying...
You are a very good instructor. Very thorough. Thank You. You are the reason I will purchase.
Glad it was helpful for you!

I'm so glad you think so - thank you!
Thank you Gina, that was very kind of you to share and very helpful😀
Glad it was helpful!
How do you trim, front and back? Do you have a tutorial on that?
Great job on your playing and the tutorial, would you please let me know what gadget do you use to hold your phone?
Thank you for your answer!
Thanks for video. This app appears to have a monthly fee....I prefer to just buy an app. Any other apps you can suggest? Thank you.
Thanks - great walkthrough! and playing!
Nicely done!

I enjoy your vids. How do you avoid copywrite problems when playing cover songs, especially Disney material?
RUclips takes care of that for me! Also, for the sheet music, MusicNotes licenses everything for me :)
Thanks! That was very helpful.

Were you using a separate mic than your headphones?
Nope!

Sucks this app ain't for Android
I purchased full app after watching your tutorials and am having trouble with video lagging behind sound, vary frustrating after a good take. Any thoughts? thanks.
Did you watch my videos all the way through? I addressed this issue in multiple videos.
c3po2112 Be sure you are using wired ear pods. Bluetooth ear pods will lag behind. (I learned that the hard way, too.)
how to take the click track out?
very useful
thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Can i please have thé app??
What's the name of app?
The name is acapella
how can export it off into a mp4 vid?
I loved it! I hate fact that you have to pay monthly to use acapella. That's why I don't use the app
They do have a free version that allows you to use most features of the app :) Check out my other Acapella Videos for more info
I don’t see the free version available anymore.
Que bonita Saludos 🥰🥰🥰
Very niiice 🇧🇷
First again?
david kang wow, I’m impressed!
In "All I Ask", The Alto flute part is in the same key as the Soprano flutes. Shouldn't it be in the key of Gb? Or should we transpose?
In the score, it's in C, but the individual part is in the correct key for Alto Flute so you will not have to transpose!
@@GinaLuciani Thanks!
Too much chat....get to the point. Just say this won't work on Android. No need to keep on and on...
